  1. Purosurpo (known from Derango) made a forest chill album called Weirdo Wondering Wood Worlds http://www.discogs.com/Purosurpo-Weirdo-Wondering-Wood-Worlds/release/1399347 here is a link to the album from Sanaton Audio's homepage http://www.sanatonrecords.com/mp3/trips/04/Sanaton%20Audio%20Trip%2004.rar Should be able to satisfy your forest chill needs
  2. Hi all I went to the great Boom Festival 2010 and heard a very cool dj-set from Gus Till with a lot of oldschool tracks. Can anyone help me find a tracklist from Boom 2010 or any other recent tracklist of his? I know he played Beautiful People by Slinky Wizard and some tracks from his Best of Rhino Years compilations. Thank you
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rU-1yYyPjCc here's the link to the video There is two volumes in the "Mystery of the yeti" series. These three albums is what comes closest to the yeti series: Celtic Cross - Hicksville Shpongle - Are you Shpongled? The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences
  4. Hi Aaron And thank you for all the great music. What happened to the track "integrate" on your myspace? -it was awesome and i can't find it on any of your releases...
  5. Purosurpo - Weirdo Wondering Wood Worlds, the one half of Derango, Jens Eriksson, has made an album of dark ambient worth mentioning: http://www.discogs.com/Purosurpo-Weirdo-Wondering-Wood-Worlds/release/1399347
  6. Take a look at their website under the downloads section. http://www.derango.se/ Here you will find some older track from both Derango, Hallucinogenic Horses and Purosurpo at 320 kbps for free. They are all great tracks!
  7. I can agree on that, it's like he just did ALL the great covers...
  8. I think First Flight takes the cake. http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=3718 complete with all the inserts
  9. Don't know from where they took it, but it's simply too cheap. I think the real skill of sampling is taking something out of context, and using it to fit your own work. Just like the sample i Transformation(s) by Darshan, where you hear Winona Ryder from a drama/family/romance movie called Little Women "Late at night my mind would come alive with voices and stories (...) I gave myself up to it, longing for transformation." It's taken completely out of context, and they make it sound like alien occult witchcraft.
  10. The Track Blinded Moon by Etnica (killer track btw), which just says "Aliens". That the least creative sample I've heard. They'd be better of saying "This track is awesome"
  11. Sounds like a collaboration between two known rhino acts...
  12. Those track reminds me of the track Energy Trace by Darshan so much! They're not very complex but very awesome! It pays to check out artists on the borders of ones favorite music genre.
  13. Well, well I'd love to hear some samples but it seems the CD is lost in collectors heaven... Heard Akousmata on the Tube, but didn't find it amazing...
  14. Generally all the old Dragonfly and Flying Rhino albums should be re-released, but I think many of the old masterings are lost, as it was for Blue Planet Corporations Blue Planet.
  15. I've never heard that one but always wanted to. Is it like Deviant Electronics - Brainwashing Is Child's Play and Breach of Space - Two Mad Men? Review please?

    Summer

To me Doof - Let's Turn On is the ultimate summer album. It's fast and pumping, but so bright and colorful. The album is fun, and leaves darker times behind. The final track is the greatest morning track, especially to wake up to, not to mention that the work 'sun' pops up three times on the tracklist...
  17. Wasn't there some talk about a new album if the views counter got to 100.000 on this video? It seems the guys are playing a lot of oldshool live sets as well these days.
  18. It's sad that Slinky Wizard never made an album, or at least a compilation of their best work... Common Draeke, you could do it right? :clapping:
  19. Yes Total Eclipse are awesome! Even their oldest tracks like Aliens are great. Almost all of their tracks has an epic feeling of slight melancholy, probably made to fit the experience of a total eclipse of the sun. Not the most popular on this forum, their Access Denied album I like as well, however they should have put that album out under another name as the music is totally different. I heard Hux Flux for the first time today, and I must say that I'm quite impressed, not only by the beautiful Koyote 12" cover. It's insane although addicting stuff and I may be the first to say it, but their sound are alike that of Lotus Omega.
  20. I like to listen to my records on the stereo so I doesn't have to have my computer turned on all the time, and i hate even the faintest sound from the ventilator i my computer when I don't use it... I just think it all seems very fishy, they don't list any information on how to contact them... but thanks for the answer anyway
  21. Generally other acts from France I'd say, except Total Eclipse (which has their own unique sound). And Yes Shakta has a very similar sound. "Anawa's Paradise" by Jaïa and "Inner Polarity" by Shakta were two song I immediately connected when I first heard Jaïa.
  22. After being chocked by the enormous price wanted for a copy of Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet on Discogs, I turned to Google for some help. I found a record company called Northern Exposure (which already sounds copied), which sells a LCD version: http://www.northern-exposure.biz/ My question is what an LCD is? And who are northern exposure, and can they be trusted? Gabriel refers to them on his own blog: http://blueplanetcorporationmusic.blogspot...e-on-world.html ?
  23. Yes yes Dubmission is highly recommended. http://www.discogs.com/label/Dubmission+Records Their first two releases are classics. Both of which contains tracks from Doof.
