His previous album is indeed great, but I'm glad he decided to try something different. I would not have bought another Ocelot album if he had stuck to the same sound. A related example is Penta, his debut was great but the second album was just more of the same and I can't be bothered with that. Ocelot's new direction seems fresh and interesting to me. There's still the Ocelot weirdness in the music, but this time with melodies, a winning combination if you ask me.
My opinion may change when I've heard the full album, but so far, the samples have cought my attention.
