MFG and Electric Universe didn't produce "very good and a lot of tracks in late goa trance time" because you think Astral Projection are overrated? Makes sense.

Why does noone talk about Miranda Silvergreen?
Trolsk replied to Radish6404's topic in General Psytrance
Miranda tracks are featured on at least 75 compilations according to Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/artist/19682-Miranda?noanv=1&superFilter=Appearances&subFilter=Compilations For reference, Transwave are featured on 77 compilations, and your beloved Astral Projection: 177. -

Old school Miranda and Athena was great. You might find her track Mars Needs Women to be great, but it's not talked about at this forum because it's not a goa or psytrance track, it's a commercial trance track. Online Information by Electric Universe is a great and very well known track, many like it, and it's featured on many compilations. Miranda and Athena is very much appreciated at this forum: https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/35418-miranda-phenomena/, but this forum is pretty much dead, and she hasn't released a great album since Phenomena back in 1996. -
Back in the day it was the anthem. You can argue about there being better tracks, but you can't argue with it's status as one of the most well known goa anthems.

Astral Projection - For All Mankind - 19 september
Trolsk replied to Trolsk's topic in General Psytrance
On the new album there's a track called Himalaya. The Himalaya's are also know as The Highest Mountain, which also is the name of their recent (2022) collaboration with Oforia. Maybe it's a second track made with Oforia. -

Agree. Makes you wonder why they didn't continue their collaboration with TIP Records. All their previous releases were with TIP: Goa Classics Remixed, Dance is the Answer and The Highest Mountain. The photo they use at Spotify feature Avi wearing a TIP Records t-shirt. -

It's always nice to listen to Posford talk about music: Simon Posford - History, Fame and Psychedelic Creation. | KohPhanCast #29

I'm really looking forward to that album, especially the third disc. I have a very rare demo tape of theirs from that era. The tracks on that tape are: Ra - Intro Ra - Gateway (Original Mix) Ra - Gateway (Goa Mix) Ra - Cheops (Spirit Nomad Mix) Ra - Spiritual Odyssey Ra - Cheops (Caravan of Life)

That's awkward. 😅It appeared in my Spotify release as a new release, didn't think twice to double check if it was already released. Lesson learned. Thought it sounded familiar. It's still a boring release 16 years later. 😁

The Delta just released a new album called Minusman. There are a couple of good remixes: Nightmares & Dreamscapes (The Delta Remix), Midnight Circulator (The Delta Remix) and As A Child I Could Walk On The Ceiling (The Delta Remix). The rest is quite monotonous, not my cup of tea.

25 years but not going strong. I try to contribute regularly, but there are seldom any replies. We need to ramp up. Let's make 2025 a good year for psynews.

Now available @ Spotify and of course Bandcamp, for us non vinyl users. Those were the days!

Sorry, friend, I can't agree. I've been listenning to goa trance since 1995, and I bought the compilations with their first tracks back in the day. Their music is very overlooked. Noone was talking excitedly about an Amtinaous release back then. Neither did I. Their music is only available at seven 1990's compilations. That's not much. Their tracks were released at POF and were never picked up by other independent labels. There are three EP releases at Discogs. The first one, which you quouted above has only three reviews, and they are all written after the Amtinaous Single Collections were released. Coincidence? I think not. The second release, Araxia (Remix) / Trip On Nexus, has five reviews. The oldest of them by Dat Records founder Draeke. Here's what he has to say: "Wicked duo this one, mostly unknown to the mass of goa trancers, except to some weird collectors like me maybe.." Their third release has, zero (0) reviews. I arrest my case. 😅

Most of the Classic Goa Trax releases deserve to remain unreleased or be forgotten, but there are some great exceptions like Amtinaoüs - Single Collection. Although I consider myself a collector of most things goa trance, I must say Amtinaoüs music has never really captured my attention, but this collection of their single tracks put their music in a new light. Definitely overlooked. Also available at Bandcamp https://classicgoatrax.bandcamp.com/album/single-collection-remastered

Why would you assume she can't dj?

Listening to the interview right now. I'm really impressed they have reconstructed the original tracks because the original files are lost.

Old school remixes by Infected Mushroom, and neither love nor hate in the comments. This site is truely dead.

What a great surprise! Infected Mushroom has remixed and updated some of their older tracks, and what a treat it is. This is really great. Let's hope more of their older tracks get the same treatment.
