Mama to be honest I think she never had any psychedelics or ever listened to psytrance, as far as i know. She likes house music. But maybe she likes psychedelic art!
-
this is my favorite ever saddest tune: don't flame me but i really dig this stuff. quality of the audio in the video is not good but you get the idea.. hope is not off-topic. edit: i see many others mentioned them, cool! i didn't think there were others liking them here.

I have a t shirt from symbisis, pretty bad-ass, but god help me if i know where the symbol comes from. In my opinion Tony (manager of symbiosis back then) had it designed by someone and that's it. i have seen a LOT of Mayan and ethnic symbols in the past 20 years (always been fascinated even as a kid before knowing Goa music) and i had never seen it before. but of course i may be wrong and maybe someone knows it! edit: if anything i think it may come from the native American symbolism and not from any South or Central American tribe/population. see here the similarities: http://b4tea.com/entertainment/native-american-symbols-and-meanings http://www.kivatrading.com/symbol1.htm http://www.ancient-symbols.com/native_american_symbols.html and these: then look at an edit of the symbiosis logo in b&w (i made it quickly just to get the idea): i find some similarities.

Behold the cover! I freaking love it, and so do the artist, what do you guys think? Also a small update: remastering has finally started, there were some delays but everything is ok. As soon as i get the remastered music i will place samples online on DAT website and start to manufacture the promos, things will then lead to the actual release . -

Crossing Mind - The Holographic Paradigm

yeah psyhoe don't worry. previously i had selected also some tracks that were never leaked and so that are more unreleased if you want to say it this way but, there are some tracks for which master wave has been lost and is currently tried to be recovered and at the end, after the liveset i've heard, i promise you this is top notch material. the original waves sounds WAY better than the mp3 circulated back then (that were compressed at 128 with early technology, like xing ocmpression so VERY lossy). So believe me, it's another story now . And I licensed some other tracks for the future so don't worry! -

Well Frozen Dream, i believe my selection really contained the best of the best output in the psychedelc trance department of his productions. After hearing the liveset with the proper material being played i can assure you that you won't be disappointed . Also keep in mind i have optioned more tracks from him to release in the future... and other labels are welcome to ask for his chillout productions too, the artist should really be released around as much as possible! -

OK, Stephane agreed on everything, now is just a matter of making it happen ASAP. And the tracklist can finally be announced: 1. Andromeda 2. Terminal Fantasy 3. Magnesia 4. Mental Escape 5. Hypnotropic 6. Lunatic Transfer 7. Psy Crise 8. United Pulse 9. Out Of Time You will not be disappointed. PS: I have in mind of releasing 4 more tracks of him that i asked to license (old productions) so there will be more cheers and thanks for being so positive and supportive! -
JonCrow and @reyu both have a point. I am a fan up to some point of this kind of movies but i think i have seen enough of these movies to be able to say it's a phase when you want to see these, or should be. Some of these are interesting to learn about drugs effects, to learn about psychology and meaning of life and whatnot BUT I think they should be seen when you are mature enough to understand them enough (around 21 i would say) because a teenager aged 16 to 19 could maybe take wrong steps or even be inspired by such movies and act recklessly (i've seen and experienced some of that). So my idea is that is good they exist and that they serve for a purpose; but to watch only this stuff would be just plain wrong in my idea. And i like the comment about you are what you watch (i.e. to make it funny if u do watch too much porn you tend to have maniacal attitudes towards girls, if you watch too many documentaries about flowers you start to be a little gay, stuff like this.. please this side note funnily and not be offended). But enough with the crap, the list of the psychotic movies i grew up with or liked when younger were: 1 a clockwork orange 2 someone flew over a cuckoo nest 3 2001 space odyssey (i seriously think this is psychotic too) 4 natural born killers 5 requiem for a dream 6 pi 7 a movie on child abuse and traffic of kids in south America (this one was heavy, really heavy, they were injecting heroin to kids to make them shut up and have sex with them, extremely disturbing, but luckily i cant remember its name,as i would never recommend this one to anybody, i felt terrible for days with the will to KILL everyone who was a child molester) 8 and others i can't really remember now. so my advice is: skip this list of movies if you can and watch instead: 1 Baraka 2 Koyaanisqatsi 3 Naqoyqatsi 4 Powaqqatsi 5 Earth (2007) 6 and then do some charity. your life will eveolve to the next step. i promise you

Crossing Mind - The Holographic Paradigm

It would be not cool to have the same track released 2 times would it .. Cyclone is on Temple of Chaos of course and damn I wait for that CD! it is going to be a blast, i am 101% sure!! I really can't wait any longer to hear that awesome compilation ... but back to Crossing Mind, to answer @reyu the tracks would be only old ones, the best of the best of what he has done in my opinion (even if some others who deserved to be on the cd cannot make it.. but maybe in the future on a compilation..). I was very tempted to release a track he made this year but it is my idea that my label should really only focus on old productions. It is a concept label and i don't want to change it. I am really sure that Stephane can and will easily license new tracks to other labels out there (Suntrip, Cronomi, Hado and more) because he is very gifted and he can still produce awesome music. -
Ladies and gentleman, trancers and trippers, the time has come. It is my pleasure to officially announce the album of the mysterious artist that has thrilled many of us in recent times. I can just tell you that it was VERY hard to decide for a tracklist: choosing was difficult because he has so many good tracks, for real. But I wasn't alone, with the help of some good friends I could see more clearly. Then again without the help of psynews users all this wouldn't have been possible, because is YOU guys that with a tam tam of private messages here and there could find him and report to me. So as of today everything has started to be official, I am preparing the contract for Stephane right now and we are still deciding the last bits but we are doing good. Keep in mind that Remastering as not yet started so as of today I can officially say that the album will be out in the middle of the summer, but hey, it WILL come out. Some fellows suggested me to wait for September but I decided to do everything in my power to make it happen as fast as possible. Hopefully by middle July? Maybe earlier? We will see! I'll keep you updated. Tracklist will be announced soon, let me have you waiting a LIL more

Beautiful harmonies but i guess that if Jos didn't answer yet is because this one is unreleased. Usually these killers are :/. I have no idea myself to be hoenest. But by answering i will boost this up so maybe he reads it and feels like answering. : ).

It is in my to do list. As masen told you , it is in my plans to have a double cd released, ifo + ifo live. Both deserves to be out at some point: so just keep on following because i will do everything in my power to make it happen... : ). And so there wil not be no more sad faces around ! PS: do u know there were at least 5000 copies sold of the dragonfly pressing? but still i see many people don't have one..

The only place where you can still do this is London. In camden town and in a few stores around the city it is still the same but well it's not so handy to go London to shop for Goa isn't it ? It happened to me to go this year for other reasons and i spent a whole day hunting like 10 years ago and well, you can still find something good around. Although, most of the times were vinyls (but really rare ones). I scored a few cd but nothing extraordinary, i suppose u really can't find any jewel anymore anywhere now as too much time has passed. But i feel lucky enough to have so many good memories about this : )

Old is Gold 8 with Crossing Mind Live
draeke replied to draeke's topic in General Party & Travel Talk (Worldwide)
I feel free to copy the review of a nice guy that i met in Belgium at the party. His nickname on the belgian psychedelic forum is Robbelaar86, i hope he will not be disappointed that i post his review here too. Also because i know crossing mind reads this topic : ). "Re: Oig 8 15/05/10 I'll write this review in English, so Draeke and Crossing Mind can also read it! This is one of parties I gonna remember for a very long time. I danced the entire time like crazy during Crossing Mind and felt all kinds of emotions. But start with the beginning. Arrived at six with Jos, Job and Caroline and started helping building the party. I was surprised how fast everything went, I guess at nine we were already (almost) finished. I must say the deco was very cool. There was a very special place where you could see two pieces meld into each other. But I guess you could only see this at the beginning of the party because one of the pieces was in front of the dj booth. Now the music. I didn't dance too much during the first three djs (Javi, Psytoad and Yani), mainly because I wanted to save my energy for Crossing Mind. I was so looking forward hearing his tracks. But still all three had good tracks where I couldn't resist dancing. Too bad this was the last dj set of Javi, I always have good times during your sets. Good luck making music! Ziggy, I totally like your energy when your behind the decks! You always seem to enjoy spinning so much and you transfer that joy to the people. Yani, your set was also good, but as I said, I was waiting for the live set! Then Crossing Mind... Wow what an experience that was... I'm still baffled by all the emotion I felt during that two hours: happiness, sadness, surprise and pure love to name a few. I laughed and cried and danced and tranced like never before. Thanks for that amazing live set, one of the best I've ever heard. My favorite track is Hypnotropic at the moment and asked Draeke to please release that track on the Crossing Mind album. After the set I was drained of all my energy and emotion, so I went outside to hear the birds tjirp and tweet. It did take me a while before I could dance again, so during the first half of Jos his set I was sulking around a bit and laying down listening to the fine tunes. The last part I finally renewed myself when I heard a known track which I really like (can't remember the name though :S). Then I trancedanced until the end of the party and really enjoyed every track! The cleaning part of the party was even quicker than the building of it. At noon we were finished and ready to go back to Gent. Great party, wonderful music, perfect weekend! Thx Steven, Chris, Jos, Caroline, Stephane and everybody else. Peace and Love!"
