Thanks for the warm feedback as usual . About crossing mind, is surely an extinct project or he would have appeared somewhere but we can still hope he is doing ok and that he wouldn't mind about releasing his old material . About Toi Doi it was a long dream of mine to obtain his material and now that I can even publish it... even better! It all started as a personal research for magical music but then one thing led to another and here I am with my small label (but growing!). About Colorbox, I don't really know, I never was a big fan of his productions but maybe I could feature one track in a compilation if it is great, I don't leave the option out. In fact there are certain artists that I must try to release a whole disc of material at least but some others can get their best old unreleased on a compilation eventually!. So I hope to have soon some confirmations about these projects and I will keep you posted!

I really don't know how last.fm works, but I just thought it was nice to host them all together. And so far nobody complained about anything. My mixes are of course freely downloadable (even if there is a button saying that you can buy them.. but at the end you really can't). Plus there is no track-list whatsoever with them, hence there is no offense i guess It's just to promote goa trance in the end. Cheers!

Hi everyone, I know some of you wants to know what's boiling and what's going to be the next release. First thing: I am discussing with etnica the possibility of releasing a double cd that would blast if it comes true. I am speaking of the very sought after live in Athens '96 for CD1 and a selection of their best unreleased tracks for CD2. Now it's still early to properly announce this release as there are no contracts signed nor any deals made but I think is fairly possible it would come true. Some other good news are that I am contacting and speaking with some producers from back then and so far I was able to track down Moebus (a uk project that made some great goa tracks back then), M.A.N. (the guys had some great tracks back then) and.... drums rolling....: TOI DOI! For Real. These are all projects for the future but if anything I have at least created a connection. Wish me good luck for these upcoming releases . If all goes well we will enjoy some gourmet goa trance from the 90s! Cheers everyone! PS: we still haven't found any email contact for crossing mind but i am positive sometimes soon we will (me and mars searching)

back in 99 i was experimenting with photoshop and by far my most successful design was this : now, it is not anything specatacular but the point is that i did it all with some default photoshop plugins (i think). i had saved all the intermediate passages and i want to post them here cause maybe some techio of you can tell me which plugins/effects i may have used, cause i would like to make something similar but MUCH bigger (back then 640x480 was neat ahahah). here we go: now, the fundamental passage is step-8 and i am trying hard the filters to find out what the heck was this filter doing the final fractal. hope you didnt find this post too disturbing and i am SURE i did this all in photoshop (was prolly photoshop 5 or 6 at MAX)

Total # of goa trance CDs released?
draeke replied to Baron K Roolenstein's topic in General Psytrance
I think is a nice idea to compile this list. But for me would be more interesting to create the list of releases in the time-span 1993-2000 excluding the 1999 minimal experiments and also the post wave of goa trance (2001-2010). The list you already compiled seems fair and I think we could contribute and add all the releases we think are missing. I think i would consider x-dream, koxbox, elysium and shaolin wooden man ALL as goa trance. Even if Kristian says it is not goa or that he had not in mind goa trance, his album is perceived globally as being one of the fundamental goa albums released. We can't limit ourselves and add too many tags (like this is tribal, this is too sci-fi, this is experiemtal, this is acid) otherwise the list would narrow and exclude a lot of classics . -
penzoline i am so happy you fodun a lost track. yes cyclone in your heart was VERY famous back then. did you make a post somewhere with this track to id?
-
ok this is the next step: if i were to release a best of his tracks, what would you like to have released on a cd? suggestions? my selection is as follows, the most uptempo melodic delirium tracks: 1 andromedia 2 cyclone in your heart 3 hypnotropic 4 lunatic transfer 5 magnesia 6 mental escape 7 psy crise 8 termianl fantasy 9 united pulse 10 xtorted mind but this is too long to fit on a cd (1:31:00), so suntrip can license one/two of these and we release them all X-D. All these above are for me instant killers/must release tracks. anyway we will see what happens and IF we find this Stephane (and if he is interested in releasing, if he has the tracks on wav etc etc etc..)

Fabien is doing an awesome job and surely helped me a lot over the years! if it wasn't for him dat records wouldn't be real! thanks for all as usual mate! ps: i did upload on rapidshare because i have an account there and also was funny to see how many people downloaded the archive. on other hosts i can't keep a track. on rs so far 19 people downloaded both parts of the archive
-
Hey JCAP, your nick is familiar, discogs ? thanks for pointing me to tripout! i was wondering if these mod were available somewhere and they were. cheers!
-
if you like etnica/pleiadians/early transwave is a definitive MUST. it's the same. just killers! recommended to everyone liking suntrip music.
-
Ok, i gathered all the free tracks that circulated back then on mp3.com and removed from this the 2 released tracks, so this archive should be free to be shared here: http://rapidshare.com/files/341455821/XM-45.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/341471492/XM-45.part2.rar thanks to anoebis, fosku and some russian collectors we now can all enjoy these tunes. And if Stephane Beze were ever to read this (or any of his friends) let him know DAT and SunTrip would be happy to evaluate a release of his old music
-
good old rishi... he was right, toi doi exiles in india. i wish i could release this one on DAT

that's fantastic news joske! if this guy that has all the tracks in order on a cd would want to submit them on discogs would be cool! i didnt know these were ordered in 6 albums in the same way as cygnetic releases were. it would be very nice to see them properly added on discogs. i made a draft as mp3.com unreleased just to have them somehow catalogued, but they are not really added to the database. since you tell me of the existance of proper releases it will be fantastic to have them added and who knows, maybe we can find this musician. i don't have any info at all beside around 30 of his tracks (some of the ones you gave me i found the real titles by downloading more from the net and they had a name). in any case if he is lazy (your friend) if he scans the cover i can add the titles myself to discogs
-
I compiled a list of all known tracks of crossing mind: http://www.discogs.com/release/2107827 is just a draft but soon will be added to the unreleased Goa listing on Discogs. out of these i have myself 28 tracks. i am chasing some Russians on another forum who have some more than me but some are unknown or i can't locate anyone else who has (well maybe Anoebis does.. ihih) so if we could join all the forces together and group them we could share them. after all these were ALL freely down-loadable on mp3.com and i see no reason why we can't all enjoy these. And eventually attract the composer attention because if he has these in original format i am more than willing to propose him a deal on DAT Records for the future (be it an album or just a track licensed on a compilation). what do u guys think? I know Fosku has some, Anoebis some others, i do have around 27 and so maybe with the help of everyone we can complete the collction.
-
has anyone any informations on Crossing Mind? i would really love to get in touch with them. it's impossible nobody knows them :S
