  1. Have to say pass on this.....
  2. The Infinity Project - The World of the Acid Dealer Anyone knows this: "I can see it glowing just beyond the trees a kind of reddish colour."
  3. Yeah, I think you're right. This is pretty similar to remixes of songs by another pop artist, Ayumi Hamasaki. Awful vocals, but it's all about the $$$ I guess.
  4. Sorry, but there's nothing more cheesy and stupid than japanese vocals in a trance track. That sounds more like pop than trance if you ask me.
  5. Chill out now, you come in here and talk shit about one of the legends of psy, and expect everyone to agree with you? This is a discussions forum for hell's sake, if you can't handle that you have a problem - not the other people in here.
  6. Check out this clip. That is what I call killargh!!!1
  7. I don't like the reworked singles much either, but I really like "The Hive". "The Black Album" is also great, as well as the first two albums which you mentioned. As you said, it's a matter of taste.
  8. You actually listened to a Skazi set, and enjoyed it??? Man, the only suitable cure for you is heavy medication!
  9. I have all 3 Spicelab albums, and they are very good for sure. You should absolutely get Spy vs Spice seraph, great stuff! As a matter of fact all of them are available at amazon, even at pretty low prices, so there's no excuse for not buying here!
  10. Wasn't there supposed to be a Hallucinogen vs Eat Static project too? That would've been awesome, but I guess we'll have to wait some 30-40 years for it to happen.....
  11. This is just a guess, but can it be 1200 Mics - Ayahuasca? Haven't heard the tune myself, but it sounds pretty logic....
  12. Reviews can be good to get an idea of what to check out in the first place. I always download and listen to the stuff before I buy though, unless I'm absolutely sure the stuff is quality. I agree that the reviews aren't always thrustworthy, it seems like some is more focused on licking the label's ass so they'll get more free promos than writing their honest opinion. As Basilisk said, reading the reviews sometimes make you think that every release is top class, which in fact is very far from the truth. But still, they can be to some use, especially the progressive releases, which interests me most within psy these days.
  13. Thanks for the mix, tracklisting looks interesting. Keep up the good work! Ever heard of discogs? Sebastian Krüger profile
  14. The Ambient Cookbook is a must, pretty much a collection of the best stuff on the Fax label. Freezone 1 - the phenomenology of Ambient is another excellent comp I discovered recently. There's lots more, especially fax releases I could recommend, but check out the Cookbook first to see if it fits your tastes.
  15. I can only agree. 11 years old, and it still sounds amazing. One of Lieb's best works, and that says something.
  16. I checked out some of my MOS mp3s, and found the answer. The "Click" version on Tantrance is the same track as "Der Nachste Tag", which appears on Goa Classix Vol. 2. So my guess is that the version on Goa Head is the real "Click", while the version on Tantrance is mislabeled.
  17. Tranceformer - Humanoid '93 Proper old-school acid trance.
  18. M.O.S. are definitely quality, one of my fave minimal psy acts. Also check out stuff released under their Nerve alias, in particular "Nervous" and "Channel 59". The Nerve remix of M.O.S. - Connected is also bangin stuff.
  19. Yeah, those albums are amazing. Their later work is also good, but maybe a little to complex for a newbie. Take it step by step. As for Juno Reactor, anything they've done is worth checking out, not all is easy to get hold of though. The latest one "Labyrinth", as well as "Bible of Dreams" are probably the ones I would have checked out first.
  20. Ambient can sometimes be very psychedelic, especially music on the Fax label. Examples: From Within 1-3, Sequential, stuff by Tetsu Inoue etc. I also find stuff by Rabbit In The Moon very psychedelic at times. Check out "Out Of Body Experience" and "Deeper", brilliant stuff.
  21. Listening to it right now. Completely awesome when you consider this was made in 1976.
  22. Save your money. There's way better stuff out there, like Juno Reactor or Eat Static for example.
  23. One that springs to mind: Space Tribe - Kickin' Up Some Dust (Remix)
