    Pleiadians - IFO

Hmm, did he call it "lame" or "mediocre"? Anyways, everybody has different opinions, that's just how it is. No big deal....

To be fair seraph, you are the only one who' arrogant here. Cinos was just voicing his opinion, and you're mocking him for having a different view than you. You have to realize that this is a subjective matter, it's not an objective truth. For you it's a masterpiece, for Cinos it's not. Simple as that. I also agree with Cinos that this album isn't all that good. Maia is awesome, and there are some other good ones too, but it gets tiresome if you listen to it as a whole. 7,5/10 maybe, not much more. And yeah, if a grade system is to make any sense 10/10 means everything is perfect, unless you can't distinguish it from what really is just that. And "11/10" or "20/10" is not logic at all, sorry.
  3. The tracklist surely looks great, lots of classics in there. DJ Dag is one of the pioneers of trance as a member of Dance 2 Trance and as a DJ. The set he played with Sven Väth at Clubnight Hessentag Lich on 17.07.1993 is a memorable one, and this cd looks like it contains many of the same gems.
  4. I have this album actually, but I don't like it very much. Way too slow IMO, and not much going on. haven't heard very much of his work, but I agree on Nerve Net, which I think is pretty nice. Thursday Afternoon is also a good one.
  5. Agreed on Redanka, great producer for sure. Don't think I've disliked anything I've heard from him. His collaborations with Tarrentella is also top stuff.

  8. First of all, if this is supposed to be a list of psy-trance, FSOL shouldn't be in the list - even if it's "psychedelic" it's not psy. If every "psychedelic" album could be included this would easily get out of hand. My list: 1992: Eat Static - The Alien EPs (I know the cd came out in 99, but the vinyls were all released 91-92) 1993: Eat Static - Abduction 1994: Eat Static - Implant 1995: Hallucinogen - Twisted 1996: Prana - Cyclone 1997: Juno Reactor - Bible Of Dreams 1998: X-Dream - Radio 1999: Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet 2000: Dimension 5 - Second Phaze 2001: Son Kite - Perspectives Of... 2002: M.O.S. - Drive 2003: Vibrasphere - Lime Structure 2004: Juno Reactor - Labyrinth 2005: Nothing yet
  9. I just have to add Gel-Sol - Gel-Sol 1104, which I listened to for the first time yesterday. This is some awesome ambient stuff, up to the standard of Global Communication, maybe even better. I advice every ambient fan to check out this amazing cd, the best thing is that it's available from Amazon for a reasonable amount of money. Go fetch!

  14. Heh, there's no new Shpongle, this thread is from march, when people still waited for Nothing Lasts. Shpongle is history man....
  15. I've listened to the mix, and I'm very impressed. Very very good tracks and quality mixing. Not surprising though as I know most of the artists (and some tracks) and know how good taste Astro Cortex have. I'm not good at writing reviews, but I won't hesitate to recommend this to everyone into quality ambient music. Great job man!
  16. Found the "ALien EPs" for a decent price on amazon.co.uk, so now it's on the way. Still considering byuing their newer stuff, have to listen again before I decide.
  17. Never heard of that problem before. Are you sure you typed the correct password? Perhaps you should send them a mail and ask what's wrong?
  18. Ok, here's my collection. Should be pretty accurate I think. More are on the way though. Click
