Based on the comments on each track this comp deserves a 4/10 or max 5/10 rating IMO. One or two good tracks can't justify a 8/10 rating as long as the rest is crap. As Trolsk said, what would you do if all the tracks were good? Give it 14/10? Just to make it clear, I have nothing against your reviews, actually I think they're pretty good, it's the rating system that doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah, that's a good one. Alien Mutation is one of my favourite chilled goa producers actually, was sad to hear that the guy behind the project, Jake Stephenson, died earlier this year. Yeah, apparently it got hacked. The owner is installing some new servers atm to prevent this from happening again in the future, so until he's finished the site will be up and down. Should be OK within a week or so.

I agree on this. While Logic Bomb have some good tunes, I've never really understood what's so special about them. To me they're just another psy project, and their "contribution to the scene" can hardly be described as very influential. Just because some people like their stuff doesn't mean they're a great act, in that case Skazi would be the most influential guy ever.... And to put EP in a more positive state of mind, I just have to say that the latest Holm & Andersen track "Cityrain" rocks big time. Keep it up man!

C'mon now, is that all you can think of? Seriusly, there's millions of remixes out there that's better than the originals, you just have to do some searching. If you're gonna stick strictly to psy you could start by checking out every remix by MWNN and Hallucinogen. Or Eat Static. Or Pleiadians. Or.....

Netherworld is probably the best trance tune ever made (at least IMO). All Oliver Lieb's L.S.G. stuff is worth checking, as well as other stuff from him and other artists at his label Superstition. Platpus and Eye Q are two other great labels to check out. Recent clubtrance is mostly crap though.

I don't have the cd so I can't be sure, but if yo look in discogs neither the version on Second Phaze or the one on Goa-Head is titled "remix". The review section on this page isn't always 100% correct you know.

The version on "Second Phaze" is the original, and the same version as on Goa-Head 13. I don't even think there exists a remix of this track.
