  1. Listening to Trust In Trance Vol. 3 now and loving it! Thanks for the recommendation! This could become one of my new favorites. I am getting a few early Posford vibes from some bits too. 9/10 at least...

  2. VA Transmission (compiled by Absolute Hypnotic) Listen 2 tracks, pre-order digital and CDs: https://globalsect.bandcamp.com/album/va-transmission The Goa trance scene has always been a constellation of diverse streams – old-school analog purists, modern psychedelic explorers, new age hybrids, forest dreamers, and full-on freaks. Yet on the dancefloor, those divisions melt. Beats speak. Minds sync. Bodies move as one. This is the spirit behind Transmission – a visionary compilation curated by Absolute Hypnotics, and fully performed by some of the most respected, genre-defining artists in the global Goa trance community. Each track in Completed by Absolute Hypnotics is a reinterpretation of our original music – filtered, transformed and reborn through the artistic lens of a different master producer. It’s not a remix album – it’s a collaborative reimagining. Every artist brings their unique sound, their history, their tribal code – while staying rooted in the shared source. Transmission is more than just a compilation – it’s a sonic statement. It’s a deliberate attempt to bridge the fragmented streams of Goa trance, and to present them united – just as they truly are when experienced on the dancefloor. From retro analog warmth, to new school layers and hybrid psychedelic textures – this release covers the entire frequency spectrum of Goa. Each track is a message, a transmission, a unique signature of sound – but together, they form a singular pulse, a journey, a story about connection. Let the past, present, and future of Goa trance merge into one. Let the tribe feel the signal. Let the Transmission begin. Tracklist: 1. MFG - New Horizon (Remix) 2. Astrogano - Babadook 3. Wonder - Mysterious Way 4. Absolute Hypnotic - Gods Provision 5. Raziel & Fiery Dawn - The Keeper Of Secrets 6. Laughing Skull - Highway Ghost 7. Goasia -The Matrix 8. Alpha Omega - Breaking The Matrix 9. Too Much Data - United As One 10. Divine Signal - Transmission Label: Global Sect Release Date: 31 July 2025 Mastering: Space Cat Compiled by Absolute Hypnotic

  4. My memory says that his stage fright got worse and he didn't enjoy touring anymore, but a year or so later, he found an American girlfriend, and now he's back touring. Something like that. I believe there's a Facebook post or two, with the details.

  5. I want to start a topic, why there are no people here and why there is no new good goa trance music. The reason is, because you all only talked about Astral Projection and nwe school goa trance back in the days, 10, 15 years ago One Astral Projection music thread after another was open only with the talk about Astral files and Dancing Galaxy. Also suntrip records with Filteria and Artifact303 threads were open aswell. Filteria and Artifact303 sound like beginnersmusic with way too much overloaded melodies and not endurable melodies, not like Miranda with complex Mars needs women are Labyrinth or Electric Universe Sunset Skyline, Astral Voyage, Alien Encounter Part 2 Galaxia, Visiting Veus or Nexus. So because noone talked about good goa trance at that time and noone bought good goa trance at that time, people started changing their opinions and stopped listening goa trance music,. This is also the reason why noone is registered here to make activity anymore, too. All old goa trance listeneers are pissed of of cheesy and overloaed newschool goa trance from Filteria, Artifact303, Khetzal and others. No Electric Universe, no MFG, no Miranda and no good spirit Zone Recordings artists remained in newschool goa trance era remained. All real goa trance lvoers got pissed off and started listeing other music, like Metal or Pop. This is also the reason why this forum is so inactive and noone is here to talk about goa trance.

  6. So many years have not tempered the insanity that is @CyclotronMajesty Every single post you ever made just dripped with conspiracy theorist "logic" and honestly was never anything I could take seriously. I always saw your posts as someone who just took too many drugs and completely fucked up their own mind. Seeing this post just makes me sad, not for you, because you have always been this insane, but for all the people that were brought over to your insanity during COVID. "Fake Vaccines" "Mask Hysteria" buzz words for the idiots. I live in Japan, everyone was really quick to mask up during COVID, and the vaccine take up was near 100%, the result was very few COVID deaths, yet the countries that resisted putting a bit of cloth over your mouth because it was so painful (fucking pussies) and distrusted the vaccine had 100s of 1000s of deaths. It's people like you @CyclotronMajestythat killed 100s of others. You should feel ashamed of yourself but I can guarantee that such scumbags like you will never ever dare feel like you were in the wrong and will never ever come to understand just how much pain and suffering you brought to the world

  7. :posford: Nothing happens when I put in this code, unlike which still comes up with the old emoji. Not for the life of me, I cannot picture what the old :posford: emoji looked like. Does anyone have an old image of it? To satisfy an old mam's curiosity... Also, why doesn't it work anymore? Anyone know why? 🤔

  8. Same, I heard some Goa at a house party, and just remember seeing the Order Odonata/Dragonfly logo and bought a CD with the same logo, it was this, Genetic - Trancemission had me instantly hooked and I've never looked back.

  12. Trust In Trance is also my favourite. Love the more raw sounding stuff from them 💕

  13. All the 4 albums have strong tracks (only Astral Files is slightly weaker).... but I do agree with you: T.I.T. is the best

  14. My issue is that for years I thought Trust I Trance Vol. 3 was their greatest album. Another World was too commercial and formulaic for me. It was only a few years ago that I realised most ppl consider this their top release 🤔

  15. I feel you, while I think there are still decent releases since this album, the quality just hasn't been like it used to be. Ultimate used to be "instant buy" no previews needed, now everything that comes out needs to be vetted before I buy as there has been too many disappointing releases, something I never thought I would say about Ultimae

  16. I feel that a lot of the old acts that we loved back in the day, started making music that was more commercial and less to the tastes of us fuddy duddies, but recently a lot are pivoting back as the people they made the pop sound for are no longer interested, and they know that we are all stubborn and will be the ones paying to hear the old sounds 😁

  17. I'm rooting for them. If they drop a great album in their style what's not to like? If it's not to your liking nobody is forcing you to listen to it. And it's not like they haven't given us a huge cache of great music.

  18. I haven't posted much here yet, but this is something I have to share. I am currently obsessed by the books of Elena Danaan. Her first book describes the 100 extraterrestrial species involved with our planet. She writes that the species from Zeta Retucili are not friendly and what was the reason of the sinking of the Titanic. In her second book she describes what happened after the Roswell crash in 1947. These books are highly recommended if you are interested in UFO's

  20. Definitely. Artists are damned if they change and damned if they stay the same. Trolls will always want to complain. I've seen plenty of artists go in a direction that I didn't like but good for them, if that is what they want to make, more power to them. It always made me laugh listening to people complain that an artist had "sold out" like they wouldn't make more poppy music if someone drove a dump truck full off money up to their house

  21. Welcome to parenthood @RTP😲 Sounds like a rough start but moving in the right direction is good. When I say "unbridled joy" what I really mean is a love I never thought I had in me. There are difficulties and frustrations. My wife and daughter do not get on at all, which makes it really difficult as my wife doesn't work and is home with her all day, every day. My daughter was diagnosed with OCD this year and it is affecting her food. She needs to weigh everything before eating it to convince herself that she's not eating too much (the huge weight loss doesn't convince her of this) and it's a real struggle to get her to eat enough. My wife's branch of angry parenting just doesn't help. I think if I was the stay at home dad and she worked, then this never would have happened.

  22. This sounds like a great idea. Rotten timing for me as it's too early in the AM for me to ever tune in. I clicked the link and it just said that nothing is playing. Looks like anyone can add videos to the stream. Is that right? Nice concept, except I never watch music video or listen to music from my PC

  24. What if the world actually did end in 2012 and now we're living in some purgatory hellscape or something? Does anyone remember being happy after December 21st 2012? Happier than you were before? I think not. The world has gone to hell and the doomsday cultists were right, we just didn't notice 😂 Actually my daughter was born in 2015 and has brought unbridled joy to my life. Got a dog last year and he is awesome! If this is the apocalypse then I am all for it 👍

  29. I am quite amazed that there are only 7 posts (8 now) on this compilation. This is such an amazing compilation from such and great label at the height of amazing GOA and only 7 people have bothered about it? Not sure if people haven't heard this, or are just too shy to comment on it, but come one, this is an absolute classic. Why are not more people talking about it?

  31. You're right, I just listened to the Miranda track and it's much more Euro trance and nothing like the Goa feeling from the Doof track. If you like this style I recommend the Gatecrasher compilations. Superb mixes of this hyper melodic pop style Euro trance, I think you'd really enjoy them. My personal favourite was Gatecrasher Wet.

  32. This is the original track (that you basically refer to in your posts) and above in your post is Antiloop's "radio remix" (if you could call it that). They're obviously so different that calling one a rmx of another is bit of a stretch. Just to make things clear!

  33. I used to write reviews, I wish I still could, even if you think everything is coming from you, still do it, I love to read the reviews. In a time where there is so much music, it's always good to hear other people's opinions on it.

  34. Coming back after so long and this forum is running on fumes. I remember how many posts a day this used to get, it was impossible to keep up with, now I am the first one posting here in nearly 10 months 😲 It is sad to see that the forum has gone this way, but I am part of the problem, life just got in the way and I was not able to be sat in front of a computer every day (or I was but not the fun computer) Hope everyone is OK and listening to the classix still. I never lost my love of the Goa and the Psy. Still regularly listening to everything from 20 or shit, 30 years ago now... I am feeling old but the music keeps me young.

  35. Hi, My daughter and I are currently in Albuquerque, USA, and we spent the last two days with @Jon Cocco, Psynews member since 2001, as I'd mentioned here. Jon is known for his EXTENSIVE reviews, that you may read here: https://www.psynews.org/forums/profile/523-jon-cocco/ Although we all have our jobs and occupations, we've been reflecting on how Psynews changed our lives, and the lives of many other people. That's where I met @Anoebis @Skytrancer @tbe @Filteria, Ubik, Tequila, @moni and many many others as you know. Last time I'd come to the US, in Y2K, I'd also stayed at another Psynews visitor and Goatrance fan's place as well. Jon was so kind as to call me when I was recovering from my cencer bac in 2013, and I'll never forget it. So yesterday we visited ABQ and Santa Fe with Jon and his lovely wife Mary. It took 20+ years but and Psynews made that possible!

  37. I recently delved back into an old favorite: the Dragonlance series. It’s based on a D&D campaign from the 80’s and was more or less the first fantasy books I read. It’s not as sophisticated or immersive as more recent fantasy series but it’s been fun revisiting those characters.

  39. Mount Kailash meditation guaranteed. Totally hypnotic music which will give you an out of body experience if you allow it to bathe your neural matrix. No psychedelics are required because this is aural acid of the purest quality. If you don't lift at least a little off-planet listening to this, may I humbly recommend that you join the queue for Getafix's magic potion, get thee to a nunnery, do fifteen years of pranayama or otherwise reprogram your horizons. Even the slightest openness to this trip will allow you to view our galaxy, let alone our planet, from an impossibly remote distance and contemplate our irrelevance in the multiverse. It seems almost churlish, given this level of psychological profundity, to mention the significance of this album for culture generally, for music, for psychedelic music in particular. I'm not joking when I state that in my opinion this constitutes possibly the most important album in the second wave of psychedelia to sweep through popular culture; in other words, it is up there with "Are You Experienced?", "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" or the best of early Tangerine Dream. Pretentious I know, but that is what I think. Moreover, it inaugurates the genre of psychill, psybient, call it what you will. All tracks are simply mind bending genius, but "The Answer" has one of the all time classic samples that I feel compelled to reproduce: "No one saw its approach A small point of light lost in the glare of the morning sun it had been drifting for centuries through the inner solar system like an iceberg in the ocean of interplanetary space." This track is THE ANSWER to the question you didn't know to ask. ~*~

  40. Going through some of the reviews, this has to be one of the funniest ones. The first page isn't even a review, just folks debating about a name of ANOTHER album. Haha.

  41. I think these are my two favourite lines from the review section. I think this sound is distinctly old school and very different from what was coming out in 2006

  42. I like this album, but on the contrary to what Abasio mentioned about The Only life we've Known, I think that this is the best track of the whole album. It reminds me of old EBM but with Trance Elements. Sure, to the psy fan this is just shit maybe... but to me it sound like something that Front 242 would have done, IF they made trance! All over the album gets an 7/10 from me.

  43. Ah I finally got my hands on a copy! Well, it sounds more trancy than the Unreleased Trax album that most people know. That said, it all sounds a lot darker and moodier compared to their Astral Projection stuff from the same period. But at the same time, there is no killer anthem here like We Are Controlling Transmission. So like others said before me, it is a great collectors item and fun to listen to from time to time but not really classic material (which is probably why it was forgotten by time)...
