Far Side (ReFractor RMX) 07:50 It's been 15 years since Digital Talk released their Audio Extremists in 2010, an album with some of the grooviest basslines ever produced. I missed so much these head banging, floor braking basslines, and Digital Talk was one of the best in the business. Since then, they released a few tracks in some compilations, and waited until 2023 to release an album that was made more than 20 years ago an lost! Dark Visions - The Lost Opus (2023) was such a dissapointment for me since I had been waiting for something new from the french duo for such a long time. It was good news when 'Str3tch' (Julien, one of the two) released 'Wild Side' in 2014 and 'Galactic Gymnastic' in 2024, which kept some of the groovyness and fun from the 2010. While in my dreams I keep thinking a new full album with some new fresh stuff arrives, this was released a few months ago. A two track release with an update of an old track (I hope they stop doing this and focus on some new stuff... it's so dissappointing) and an amazing remix from Refractor, who brings the south african power to the track, with the mastering of Scorb. It sounds so good I can't recommend this track enough.     I used to blindly love everything these Italians did back in the 90s.... it's sort of strange to see your own taste change in that regard and listening to 'Antonomasia' today is a challenge sorry. The melody work is far from their best and those percussions just do not work well enough to carry the track. Maybe 6/10?

    damn. i just got the FLAC release.. and it still sounds like crap :((( how this could happen on a major label is kinda beyond me but okay, whatever. like, wheres the kick?? why is the highs so sharp and aliased? like comon, this is basic stuff. im listening to Source of Emotion atm in FLAC. Sounds very bad im not used to Mindsphere sounding this bad. (again, SOUND - not music - music is great!) i blame the label for this. not mindsphere. Suntrip - wtf happened here?

    I remember the breath of fresh air that first SST 12" of Eupsychia was when it was first released. Then the follow up from Yamabikaya. Then the Infected Mushroom release (which remains the only IM 12" I still listen to). They were a fantastic label and released so much great music. Jorg blessed us with much great releases 😃 He will be missed RIP
