I notice a lot of topics about the music genres here, and who prefers what and when. So maybe we can start this topic too? I would like to see the different tastes and opinions Mine would be: 12h - 20h Newskool Goa / melodic Oldskool Goa 20h - 00h dark Oldskool Goa / dark Newskool Goa / Suomisaundi / Early Psytrance 00h - 05h Forest 05h - 08h experimental and psychedelic Oldskool Goa / more melodic Forest 08h - 12h pure Oldskool Goa But when it is a festival of multiple days, there can be some Dark or Fullon too. Just due to the amount of good Goa and Forest that will be played, my two favourite genres and a lack of Full On (My fast becoming least favourite genre) As for single day timeslots I don't reeeeealllly mind but your list looks nice. I like some diversity, so I would rather listen to 2 hours of quality goa trance than 8 hours of repetative goa trance (saying that because I find goa trance as my favorite genre), so instead of repetativness (is that right term?) it would be cool to hear something from other styles. Regarding the LTF, yeah some amazing names, but it lacks other styles besides old/new goa trance and forest/darkpsy/zenonesque type of things. What about some twilight and proper fullon, wouldn't hurt anyone i guess? Padmapani Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 the ideal timetable would be: 00:00-24:00 Goa (with the really good acts concentrated around 23:00-6:00) but i could also compromise with something like: 20:00-23:00 Goa (any kind) or stuff that doesn't fit elsewhere (Talpa / Union Jack / ...) 23:00-01:00 Early '00s Psytrance / Techtrance / Darker Goa from around '98-'99 (something like the Basilisk - Moonshadow mix) 01:00-03:30 Intense Goa (Pleiadians / Filteria / Cosmosis / Mindsphere / E-Mantra / ...) or artists like Logic Bomb / Hux Flux / Koxbox / ... 03:30-06:30 Transition to Morning Goa ( D5 / BPC / Artifact303 / Ra / Ketzal / Goasia / ...) or good morning fullon, but i think that doesn't exist anymore (sunrise is at around 5:00, so we should be well into morning territorry by then) 06:30-12:00 Anything (i'll be sleeping or chilling at the tent in a tired way anyhow). candidates are iboga-style progressive, but i'd be perfectly ok with hitech or anything else. 12:00-20:00 Progressive (transitioning from more relaxed acts like Ace Centura to "night" progressive like E-Clip or S>Range) but it could also be mixed with some downtempo / relaxed goa (pre-1997 or Crossing Mind or so) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
