Those votings are all fraud. There is no point of voting, everything decided much much years ago. You must be dumb if you believe that your vote is real stuff, president is nothing more just TV muppet. He is just the guy like you, he can't stop wars, can't help his country financial, nothing.

Here in Serbia will be elections in few months too. And for first time by law i can vote. But you know i won't and if TV catch me on street and ask me about elections i will open say that they can fuck off, i can do that because my country is very much for 'civil rights'. They said they can punish you if you don't vote, i believe all they can is lick my balls. In other case i will vote for them just if they find me good job with some 300-400 euro month pay in good conditions, i don't want work 8 hours like a slave in poor conditions like africans, then there is change i could vote.

But we are speak here about Americans and their country of oportunities and dreams, i don't want go into war stories or "terrorism", but how is that possible that votes aren't equal in every state and you are leader of democracy in world?

Are nation/people brainwashed or something? They dont care about others or what? It seems that their moto is "Live your life, let other die." lol

PS. I must notice that i didn't want to offend noone personaly, just want to be open :)

Imba, here's the thing:

Our votes count, but in a weird way. The "Electoral College" is supposed to be a proportional system whereby the weight of a state's vote depends on its population. Theoretically the distribution of electoral votes in the Presidential election is supposed to represent the distribution of individual votes across the country.

Also, the President is not an autocratic leader, so no s/he can't start or stop any war or peace efforts they want. Kind of. The President can initiate military action for something like 30 days, after which it has to be approved by Congress, but otherwise most things have to be a joint presidential-congressional decision. And we have only two serious contenders of political parties in the US, and those parties are the ones who determine the eventual nominee for their party. So in that regard we the dirty masses have limited power over who becomes President. We're presented with a couple choices, and that's pretty much it.

Still, even with the mountain of bureaucracy between the individual voter and the results of federal elections, many people stick with it in the hopes that change can happen over time. That can be hard considering we have a large geographic area, and many different micro-cultures within it which may vote differently. In my own state of Oregon, a majority of the population leans slightly leftward but is concentrated in a small portion of the state, while the majority of the state geographically leans the other direction, so we are considered a left-leaning state. Believe me that the rest of the state is pretty unhappy about that.

You can't change anything if you do nothing.

Do you really believe in that? They still dont have water and electrical power, americans still owe their oil rigs, nothing finished. Same for Afganistan, they are running for Al Qaeda which for rest of the world same as their goverment, on some point they are same thing. But i know opinions and beliefs are very much different.

@ Veracohr i am sad for some things about bad education. Watching some documentaries and movies it's clearly that US don't want smart people that can go against them. School system is falling down it seems, around 73% less you have to learn than before so called 11. september. Terrorism, reason for war, weapon for mass destruction... only conspiracy i must say. Sad that so man americans died that day but they should go to fix their country first, go against goverment.

Most funny thing is when i see US soldiers on battlefield in Iraq or Afganistan or somewhere and they say: "I am proud to protect my country, thats why i am here!"

That is most retarded statement ever and i can't stop laughing all day. How can you protect your own country 10.000 km away? They are mind washed or naturaly stupid some mountain country guys lol

@longloststar again, Clinton also stoped war here, but after 72 days and 15.000 dead civilians died from claster bombs which are forbidden for few decades, can i add 13.000 uranium shells droped over Serbia and 50.000 died of cancer soon after? I saw dead mates in neighbours, their extremities and i was just 8 years old living 72 days in basements, barely eat or drink. Don't talk about stoping wars, they are never ended. And why all that? For Kosovo because is full of naturaly gas and oil and because we are war criminals?

Sorry but i cant believe you about wars ;)

Yeah, a lot of soldiers say things like that. For some of them it's the reason they joined the military, but personally I think for a lot of others, it's an attitude that is developed in them intentionally during training. It must be easier to get people to put their lives at risk if they think they're doing it for a good reason.

I like his opinions on social issues and foreign affairs, but his economic ideas would basically amount to "more of the same". Deregulation clearly isn't going to work, and you don't need to look any further than Wall Street to see that. The problem is most regulators are corrupt so "regulation" isn't really getting the job done either. Corruption is the big problem. Both capitalism and socialism are great systems if you assume people are perfect, but clearly we aren't.

I still agree with him more than most Republicrat/Democrans, but I've never voted for either of the main 2 parties and won't start now. They are the ones who fucked everything up, so expecting them to fix it seems extremely naive. I tend to vote for Green Party candidates even though they get less than 1% of the vote usually. I agree with them on almost everything except nuclear power (http://www.gp.org/committees/platform/2010/index.php)

If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. We still have the largest military base in the world, in Iraq. We even have tens of thousands of troops in Japan/Germany since WWII. We never really leave anywhere. I'm sure we'll find a new country to invade before too long also (as long as they have oil/gas)...

Why do you say that socialism works only if people are perfect?

  • 2 weeks later...

Yea i'm gong to try to vote for Ron Paul, if it's not too late.

Someone needs to stop the feminization and fascism in america. America thinks it can export all this gynocentric culture of girl worship and materialism across the world by the end of a thug's gun barrel. Soldiers in Afghanistan are sold on the line they are fighting for "women's rights" as if they are saving princess Zelda from Goron or something. LOL. Of course women run america from the shadows as they've run everything from behind for ages, no politician can get elected unless he supports draconian feminist gender warfare on men. Thus is why men barely get college degrees anymore, and in every class you take no matter what subject includes feminist propaganda. While your bombarded with social engineering propaganda across campuses and required to go to Freshmen Orientation where they teach you how evil and criminal you are for not having a vagina, and how you should beg women to hold their hands and shit. Then they draft laws, to convict male students of rape harassment yadda yadda by accusation. And make jokes out of shooting dismembering and choking men to death. All while the media and populous equates you with a mass murderer if you don't like it.

I'm getting the fuck out of this fucking cuntry some day... western civilization in general in fact.

It's all just a massive fucking shopping mall.

You can't get out of the Matrix because they charge you money to take a walk outside the city. If you want to go see some place not paved over by shopping mall and pink, you have to drive your ass off and hope you run in to a place remote enough for the government bullies to not even bother staffing with guards demanding cash tribute and official papers to see a few trees and dirt.
