Lots of work went into that one. Treasure it.

It has been roughly forever since I last posted in this topic. 2024 was quite a shit show in general. Then I (maybe) waited for a few batches to arrive, and then waited three months more for one replacement. Anyway, here we go again. Let's start with the CDs. Something may have been on earlier lists already, something may be missing. Who knows at this point.

Astral Projection – Let There Be Light
Ka-Sol – Fairytale
Mini Spacer – M.U.S.I.C.
Xenomorph – Qlippoth
Xenomorph – Demagoguery of the Obscurants
Xenomorph – Netherverse
Globular – Lifts the Curse of the Grey Goo Assimilators..!
Gabriel Le Mar – Light of Unity
Holeg Spies – Brave New World (Multimedia Pack)
Banco De Gaia – Trauma
Carbon Based Lifeforms – Seeker
Elysium – A Journey through Time & Space
Greg Hunter – Discography Part I

Also, some dark ambient and disco and other cool stuff. B)

Does that make it a Limited Edition of 201 then?

I got it from the guy who runs the label. He said he help one copy back in case there was an issue with someone's purchase. I was able to get that from hi (sealed and unopened). But yeah, I was curious about that too

I got Evolution - Oscillating Phenomena, I already had the vinyl. But why not have it on cd also. =))

I just love this track.

Hallucinogen - The Singles Remastered. I had to get it for Strangled Cat, that track is only on this one, and for Solstice (Early Mix) since I didn't had that one in my Posford collection before. It's on a Flying Rhino compilation, so not exclusive to this vinyl box like Strangled Cat. =))

This thread used to be SOOOO active a long time ago.

Can’t stop listening to this track.

Didn't get today but it is one of the recent ones.
Been really loving the compilation Seb Taylor put out of rare Shakta / Digitalis / Somaton / Biotone tracks he ripped from random old comps that weren't easily found elsewhere.

While I was expecting to like it overall, I've been kinda surprised by how often I've been putting it on and happily shuffling through it throughout my days.

Highly recommend for people who dig Seb's sound/style 😃

Some great collaborations on it too

I go this recently too. It's a really good buy. Honestly Seb Taylor is one of the best artists to follow on Bandcamp. He really knows how to sell his stuff. It's all reasonably priced and often comes with mixes and DJ sets included.

He has released a lot of these collections and I have gotten them all.

Damn, there's some massive backlog again. I find boxes of received discs that I've semi-forgotten for assorted reasons. This time I won't even try to create a mega-list of them all but instead post in any convenient chunks which I can mark as sorted.

In this batch there's Andrew Heath. I suspect I got The Silent Cartographer when it was just released in 2014, then Flux from somewhere. Then there was a break. Then there were good offers so I've been following the trail of his solo albums on Disco Gecko:

These have their very own character. To be honest, I'd probably struggle to name any specific song or even an album by hearing it, but that's kind of the point. There are moments when I don't really want to hear music as in banging tracks or catchy tunes but simply some kind of ambience made of musical elements, and that's what one can find here. Real ambient music. Now I have a proper playlist of these and I may end up visiting it many times when those moments hit. ;)

Well, here's a short list. Mark "Drezz" "Nervasystem" Dressler found a few copies of 13 Amp Fusion. I think I've bought all his albums one by one since his 2013 comeback. Now I ended up filling this gap too. These are sold "as new", and at the moment of writing some are still available on Bandcamp. Get one if you want one.

For some reason I thought this was one of the CD only purchases (like some other old stock sales) so I just ripped it. In fact, it came with a download and apparently I have that one too. Oh well, now I can confirm that they indeed look and work like new...

We need to evolve along with the times. We live in a digital age, we need to accept that:

Digitally I just bought:

Framework - The Anthemic Collection

And the following from Liquid Sound Design

It's a wrap 2024
Lammas Blessings
Lá Fhéile Brid V2

Nothing is available on CD and honestly I would just rip it ASAP anyway

Today we have a simple one. I had been postponing my Ott album purchases for many years. Maybe they were released in times when I was busy or preferred something else or didn't feel like ordering just one disc. Well, actually I did get the crowdfunded Blumenkraft LP and bonus 12" in 2018 because those are classics and the vinyl releases were something new and hot, but the more recent albums were another path which I had missed. This year I finally fixed that and got:

Ott is such a decent bloke; fair prices, no artificial scarcity tricks, free signing service, positive messages and maybe even extras included. It's always a pleasure shopping there and I'm pretty sure you will agree, no matter what you get and how.:)

Now, about time to give these a proper listen...
