you just gotta love that crunchy clicky sound quality, even though theres some limiter distortion in the low end it sounds fantastic to me! crystalline. and classic deep melodic progression similar to Noone ever dreams.

Almost all music sounds dated, it sounds like the era it was made in.

I can almost understand with early electronic music made on substandard machines and with bad mixing, but when something just sounds like the era it was made in, why is that a bad thing?

For me, Are You Shpongled? Is a timeless classic, it sounds like 90s chill and nostalgia.

I think human blue is kinda his cousin music wise, except the latter is more melodic.

i think what sounds "dated" means it doesnt sound good anymore (subjectively). Compared to some tracks that no matter the age it still sounds fresh. i guess its the writing and sound design more so than anything else.

for example to me, Silicon Sound album from 2003 will forever sound incredibly fresh to me and never dated.

oh nice to see some love here from those guys. into the sun has always been a fav of mine not sure if its the crowd sample that makes it sound so underground and legendary.

This is a surprisingly good mix. Supposedly ai made then mixed/mastered by Makyo. Whatever the version of Sirens here is the best I've heard anywhere. Why only AI can get the intonation right on the line "Did I dream you dreamed about me?" Is beyond me, every other version butchers it so much that it never made any sense to me 😂
