  1. The Discogs search engine is crap - if the title of a CD doesn't show up in there, try searching for the label or the artist and click your way forward from there. But then some stuff really IS missing, of course.
  2. Yeah that Pleiadians 12" cost me 83 quid or something, which is insane for a single track I already had on both CD and vinyl... BUT - that's one of the finest collectors items in the genre, and from one of the finest groups too. I don't regret that purchase at all, and 80 pounds is just about 10 days record shopping budget for me anyway! So viewed in that perspective it's not much. I have all the super-rare Etnica/Pleiadians/Crop Circles vinyls now, so completing that series felt very very nice, and was certainly worth a 80 pound expense. I later found another copy much cheaper (outside of eBay) and sold it for more than 80 pounds, so I got my money back eventually =) I gave up on the Spectral 12" because I was very very low on money that time - I would love to complete Subliminal Records but I'm still missing 4 records there.
  3. I already have the only woman I want =) And she is free of charge, too. But yeah, I have spent ENORMOUS amounts of money on records throughout the years. While I could have had many other things instead I must say that I get an immense pleasure from having such a large record collection, so I don't regret my choice in any way. And I could probably get a lot of my money back if I for some reason chose to sell it all some day. But this guy, bragging about his MP3 list, makes absolutely no sense to me.
  4. Read my post from 2002 above.
  5. EXCELLENT choice! I have the japanese edition, but honestly the bonus track on that one is nothing special. Pro Radii is absolutely amazing! And about my purchasing pace... it goes in waves, not all weeks are like this last one of course. This year I've bought about 550-600 records though, and it's just october... But I also sell a lot of doubles that I find, and I have some faithful buyers that pay me good money to track down obscure goa vinyls. This lets me spend that money on even more records. It's all good =)

  7. Absolutely! I recently scored some more duplicates (as mentioned previously in this thread), so I think we can arrange something. Do you have a wantlist, on Discogs or something? I'm at work now but can send you a fairly complete list of my trading fodder when I get home.
  8. damn, thats one I'm after... Missing plenty of other Trans'Pact too, but this particular one seems very rare. Good catch.
  9. She is my very own godess, and no offers in the world will make me leave her =) She has quite a few etnica releases too - I influence her with good goa trance and she influences me with IDM, techno and experimental minimalism. We're such a sweet couple =)
  10. hehe =) I got a total of 105 vinyls this tuesday, but a lot of it is stuff I'll sell on to other people, so it's not listed here. There's about 20-30 vinyls from that pack that I havent decided on wether to keep or not yet, so I won't list them. They're all non-trance anyway. 12. myusername @ myusername . com bring it on =)
  13. That was probably the Hypnotic Records re-issue (which, as far as I know, is pretty much the only one that was available in the US), which is less valuable. The Blue Room original is what brings in the dough. There were import stores with the original Blue Room version though, but I think Hypnotic and later TVT had Juno Reactor pretty much to themselves in the US.
  14. You should probably point out *which* fluoro version it is, as there are several: two yellow discs, normal labels one yelow and one hot pink disc, normal labels two yellow discs, weird "spiral" labels with no text at all the last one is probably limited to a two-digit number, I only know a single person in the world who has it. Out of the first two, the double yellow seems to be the more common.
  15. They're worth more than you paid (assuming that you have the original versions and not some re-release), but for Beyond The Infinite, the quadruple vinyl is the most valuable - this can easily bring in upwards of 60 euro. BTW, there are two versions of the original Blue Room version of Beyond The Infinite, one with a yellow CD design and one which is primarily blue. I think the blue is the normal one, as I don't know anyone who has the yellow design... except for myself =)
  16. You are obviously entitled to whatever opinion you have. But I can't help wondering where you find variation and depth in this... To me, Filterias own work has soooo much more intelligence to it, there is so much more to discover in there. I'm not saying more detail is always better or that his own tracks are perfection in music, but all I hear in this new track is a shoddy framework of a song, with no real content. It does nothing to me emotionally except annoy me. I would (honestly) like to know what you like about it, how it makes you feel. If you could give it another listen and jot down your thoughts, I'd be grateful. I'd really like to know.
  17. Yes, the track is a complete piece of shit. I'll let Jannis speak for himself here when he sees this thread (I sent him the URL), but to calm you all down - he did pretty much nothing in that track. It is in no way an indication of his future sound, and he asked for his name to be removed from the credits after he found out he was on there - but unfortunately the record had already gone to printing in Japan. I hope I didn't say too much, but Jannis should be here and give his version in the morning.
  18. Your trolling skills are in decline. I don't expect Nitrox to get a single vote here... and if it does, I demand an explanation.
  19. This is a discussion board, and from time to time actual discussions do break out. But thanks to your enlightening (and extraordinarily punctuated) post, we'll do our very best to punish anyone who dabbles in the black arts of debate and argumentation openly on this forum, from here on. ...And with the sarcasm gland temporarily emptied, yes we went off topic. But you didn't exactly bring us back, did you? You could at least have mentioned what you voted for.
  20. How do you figure for example most of 12 Moons' tracks aren't obviously sunny music? Of course calm music can feel very dark (in fact, it often does), but from the start you set out denying that there would be a way to connect a time of day with the mood in the music. If you truly believe this, I have no idea how you listen to music, because it's simply incomprehensible to me, regardless of what indoctrination I've been subjected to in terms of what music goes during the night at trance parties. Like I said, of course there is borderline stuff. And sure you can enjoy Blue Planet Corporation at 2 am... but yet again, that's not my point.
  21. Genre whoring? So making any kind of discerption between for example human blue and derango is genre whoring? Because this is what you wrote: If you can't tell that there are different moods in psy-trance and connect them to moods derived from darkness and sunlight respectively, you're musically retarded. I don't think that is the case however, since I think you're just pulling your ordinary trolling routine. But thats just a different kind of retarded, so my point still stands. And fucking of course there's borderline stuff and of course you can play kindzadza whenever the hell you want, but to state that there is no stylistic fraction within psy-trance that is emotionally more geared towards nighttime moods just shows that you have absolutely zero grasp of the genre... or music in general, for that matter. And yes, sub-sub-subgenres are just ridiculous, blah blah blah. Thats not what I'm on about.
  22. You're amazing.
  23. Voted for Time Slices as thats the first of his tracks I heard and it really really got to me. I say 'his' because that one is made by Dennis himself, as is my runner-up, Degauss.
  24. Agreed, he did some pretty crazy stuff back then... I totally love "Option Paralysis" (which is a released track) but the weird kick drum makes it a bit tricky to mix. I think that one might have been on a Sephalopod 12" that isn't on Discogs.com yet, but I didn't get a reply when I mailed Tim about it... I think Freak 002 might be the one. I wonder what was on the flip side of that one.
  25. Check out Dark Matter / Shark Matter.
