seraph replied to PKS's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
I am sure I would cause tracklisting looks fenomenal...Like one of the most promising chill releases recently...harldy wait to get it... Reveal me the secret, how is their collaboration ? Nothing more than WONDERFUL ? I am nervous in inevitability.... -
That is so arrogant ! Do you really think you are some kind of genius cause you make 'original' tribal trance ? Grow up mate and stop bashing everything that is under your way...lamer...

Yeah, I fixed it now, I was too amazed by Ka Sol track that I completely forgot about second best track on compilation...

APSARA 2005 SUNTRIP 1. AES DANA - DIGITALYS 2. YESOD - ON THE EDGE OF TIME 3. KHETZAL & CHAI - BABYLONE BEACH 4. LOST BUDDHA - METAMORPHOSIS 5. FILTERIA - TINY UNIVERSE 6. KA SOL - SCRAQP 7. YPSILON 5 - TITANIUM 8. GOASIA - I'M READY 9. RADICAL DISTORTION - COMMUNICATION ! So, it is finally here, first officially released Goa Trance compilation this year and it is MIND BLOWING ! I have no words what these guys have put together. This is the ultimate bliss of melodic sound this year and every single song is amazing here. The fresh old sounding is here, brilliantly mastered by incredible Tim Schuldt, wonderfully packaged and perfectly structured. There is finally so long waited Goa sound that we all missed for almost 5 years. After Ra's album back in 2000 and Dimension 5 - Second Phaze, we haven't heard any proper Goa sounding album with morphing melodies all around. This compilation is conceptually done as perfect journey. It starts with more gentle but very effective trance by Aes Dana - Digitalys, my first trance track I've heard from them and it is very good one. Hypnotical driving rhythm with oriental melodies and natural feel all around, perfect starter. Yesod - On The Edge Of Time is also very oriental influenced gentle psychedelic trance, perfect for the mornings, and very good for soothing your brain. It has very generic melodies and it might not be for everyone, dark freaks in particular. Khetzal & Chai track Babylone Beach is very oriental flavoured also but with harder edge than Yesod track. It has wild melodic lines perfectly followed by great voices, it is very driving goaish track, also very good and not for dark lovers. Now comes Lost Buddha - Metamorphosis, AMAZING work, Filipe, you've enhanced the song from before and took it on higher level. Now this is pure goa trance, heavily 96 influenced with very hypnotic goa melodies and great progression in the track. Perfect ( for me at least )... Filteria - Tiny Universe is another ultra melodic, cyber space epic track with morphing melodies all around and typical Filteria melodic structure. It is slightly different than the album but there are still same sounds, just slightly progressed structure...very good, one of the better ones on compilation. AND NOW.... Special introduction...The guy that needs no introduction...Ka Sol with his wicked, demented, hypnotic, wild, schizoprenik track that exactly describes primal essential feel of dark goa trance with the pinch of light somewhere in the distance. Here we have more dusty production, deliberately done for the better feel of subversion of the track. This is the best track on compilation and maybe the best track of the year by far. You have 8:30 minutes long track that seems like 11 from the richness and changings non stop. This is goa trance at its best with incredibly structured melodic lines. Ypsilon 5 - Titanium is another perfect track, also with oriental melodies and very hypnotic pads and harmonies, the longest here and very precise and to the point. Goasia - I'm Ready is incredible melodic song with very psychedelic edge and amazing effects and feel overall. Another pure goa trance song like all the rest here. Radical Distortion - Communicate ! is very good MFG alike old school goa song that perfectly finishes this wonderful compilation... I am gobsmacked...Suntrip, thank you for this platinum release, we finally got the real thing and of course thanks to all great artists that keep the spirit up...10/10

I can't believe you mention that man, I exactly thought that too few years back when I heard Coming Home first but it is possible as always for someone to randomly choose similar melody on other part of the world unintentionally...

Last night there was Kraftwerk party for 9000 people on the big old stadion. I went with lots of my friends cause most of them are into electronic music and these masters of analogue electronica gave the perfect perfromance which was expected. I was actually hearing them for the first time and only now I realised how powerful their music is seeing them live on stage with amazing visuals that cannot be separated from music actually. Their sophisticated minimalistic complex was just the right thing I needed last night after 2 weeks on the coast. I came back and went immediately that night on Kraftwerk concert. I only smoked Marijuana for god sake. I couldn't imagine listening to these guys on anything else except maybe on very small dosage of acid considering their minimalistic trippy music. They played for 2 hours and it was pretty rich night filled with classics. The highlight of the concert was of course theatrical interpretation of ROBOTS with real robots on stage performing crazy robotic trance dance, I had shivers down my spine during it...Perfect.. Not to forget another amazing performances of RADIOACTIVITY, AUTOBAHN, TRANCE EUROPA EXPRESS, MODELS, NUMBERS, ELECTRO KARDIOGRAM....Very Enjoyable experience which was expected and known about it, I just experience it and as such, they are still true masters of minimal genre...

I am scratching my chair for new Transwave...That is the thing I most long and anticipate for... Also new Astral Projection even though I think that it won't be breathtaking... I heard that Guy Zukrel is about to make new Passenger or MFG album...Yummy... If Blue Planet Corporation ever decide to make new album, that would be the one I most long for... New Chi-A.D. RELEASED would be also yummy... Toi Doi if the guy is still making any music... Also new Koxbox but not in progressive style, but psychedelic as they were... I wouldn't mind new Ott, what to hell happend to that guy these days... Doof, you are again dissapearing, are you about to make It's About Time 2 ? There are heaps of anticipation in myself about so many groups and albums but unfortunately they all take so many times or no time at all to be released...

Let's guess.... Jean Borelli ? Hehe Next one... ?

I first liked this new review section just because I hated bumping. After I get used to this, I found it as unsufficient as Basilisk. I even post less reviews after that actually and most of my newish reviews got 20-30 views and almost no reply at all. I think it is better for people to see what new reviews is there and not go and look for it. For example, who wants to check all of the 2004 or 2005 reviews section with 3-5 pages of it ? I am sure that you will find the best way of sorting that out Lemmi...I told you at first I liked it but now I don't find it as sufficient as before...

There is so many of them, I cannot name one as always, I know I am an absolute obsessive compulsory about Goa and simply can't limit myself on naming one track... Pleiadians - Maia ( climax at the end ) The most intense psychedelic build up ever Transwave - Trashish ( very short but such an effective track, climax guaranteed ) Etnica - Party Droid ( demented climax by the end, perfect ) Green Nuns - Megallenic Cloud ( long, hypnotic climax at the end ) Hallucinogen - Deranger ( twirling, crazy climax at the end again ) Chi-A.D. - Purity ( that gentle, melodic climax at beginning and end ) Pigs In Space - Visitors Pt.1 ( climax ) Oforia - Uplifter ( uplifting, morphing last half of track ) Passenger - Reflection ( melodic morphing through whole track ) MFG - New Kind Of World ( whole track ! ) There are heaps more...Hehe

Do you have a lot of CDs / LPs you rarey listen?
seraph replied to Tatsu's topic in General Psytrance
I have HEAPS of stuff, but I don't listen to 30 % of it. There is so many stuff I got bored with and some average albums that I don't bother to listen unless they have 1 or 2 good trax...When you have so many music of course that you can't listen to all of them all the time plus there is new stuff coming out and the albums I missed from before and got them recently that I have to pay most attention to. -
Yes, an absolute perfection. Each track here is brilliant, even the ones that are weaker, the guy has his style and he is presenting it uncompromisingly. As Cybernetika said, this is stunning Dark Psychedelic Goa Trance album. What happend to the guy afterwards ? Why is he not making music anymore ? This is perfect album for demented night time trippers. If you want your brain to generate and pulsate in wild demented rhythms in space this is the best album one can have...My favourite ones are : STAR SHOOT TRIPPERS, D'EDEN SPACE, REPLICANT ( ! ), SPIRAL DIVE, NUAGE D'ENCENS ( !! ), UP DAYS ( !! ), D-LISS...10/10
