  1. NYE@Tyssen Street then New Year's party@Fridge in 1999 were one ofe the best parties I've ever attended. Anyone remember Rodrigue Paciornik who was playing live drums during Mark Sinclar's set@NEY's party@Theatre Factory?
  2. Really? When I was leavin Europe in 2000 Oberon latests "Faerieland" mixes were nothing but technoish stuff. What are they spinning now? I'd like to catch Oberon during my next visit in London heh.
  3. If I remember correct most of "his" tracks are written by his buddy (forgot the name) and Timo admitted it long time ago ....
  4. Used to spin it back in late 90s .... Smitten, Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, Boscaland, Hazchem, some releases on Choci's Chewns .... ah... those memories. Too bad nowadays a lot of those records cost fortune (yes I still buy old school acid techno records). The beginning of the whole nu/hard nrg movement was also the shit (before it burnt out and stupid uk hard house took over and became mainstream): Tinrib, Alien Trax, Do Not Bend, Phoenix Uprising, Chug'N'Bump, One Inch, .... And then the last one: uplifting trance (before Tiesto became a god hehehehe): Pendragon, Escape From Samsara, Antiworld etc. parties. with Marc Sinclar, Juno, Jace, Darren Shambala, Oberon, Beamish ...... Those were the years I was mad@psytrance cause minimal trance took over old goa movement
  5. A lot of good stuff (dark, heavy, dirty, noisy and psychedelic dubstep, slow breakz) can be found on www.addictech.com
  6. Ello Now it's my turn Flew in with wife on Thursday, went to the hotel (Thanks Senobyte! ), met Skeletonman (what an asshole ) and Psyman (it was a blast!). Got some old cheap cider had some drinks and went to bed. Next day spent@Camden Town, picked up tix for both parties, ate great food@inSpiral Lounge, met more friends, came back to hotel, got drunk on the way to the Roundhouse, got surprised by the dog@the gate sniffing for "treats" (never seen anything like that@the party - is it common now?), had a blast@concert (although I think something was missing .... wasn't as magical as I was expecting it's going to be), booed with the rest for no 2nd encore , walked down to Scala (Skeleton is a great preacher :D ), got shocked when we saw that fuckin' line, smoked a few while walking/waiting (Thanks S!) , finally got inside, catched Noons, Ott and X-Dream (fuckin' A!), came back to hotel, slept all day, went to inSpiral Lounge again for Alex Patterson dj set (got drunk and enjoyed his reggae shit), blacked out on the way back , woke up with hangover, left hotel 3 hrs before our departure, was late for hour flight (shit!), had to fly in to another city in Poland. But it was worth it! Great time in London after 10 years of my absence According to the guy@Access All Areas who was handling tickets/wine redistribution (anyone know his name?) they are planning on bringing Shpongle Live concert to Ozora in 2009 (shhh it's a secret ). And hang drum dude is Manu Delago (www.manudelago.com) - the greatest hang drum player imho I'm so happy that Simon got him on the board - love the sound of hang. Peace
  7. Great gig@Earthdance When is Suntrip gonna release your full album?
  8. Good to know. Any other advices for newcomer?
  9. Easy to say I don't think labels have so much free cash thay can afford to freeze in a product that may sell out withing few years ....especially those who release more than 1 album per year
  10. I think we can only keep guessing untill some label owner decides to spill the beans Physical cd - I don't think so :D Digital downloads - maybe. And I don't personally think we will see any such a groundbreaking release in the near future
  11. If Evan can't sell 777 copies why he should bother with manufacturing 1000? (I'm guessing his Native State Rec. cds are being sold in quantities <1000 too ).
  12. According to Evan only some releases are near to be sold out (of course you won't get EXACT numbers but something is telling me he doesn't lie ). Also I read recently an interview with Per Kristian Slagsvold (PKS) from Chilltribe Rec. and he confirmed he prints 1000 copies of each release and NEVER sells out ....plus ... why a label owners can't do whatever they want to do?
  13. Raphaƫl Marionneau (the guy behind "Le Cafe/Voyage/Classic/E'te Abstrait" series throws his parties@Hamburg's planetarium as well: http://www.abstrait.net/voyage/index.html
  14. Do you know how many copies of average ambient/chill cd are being sold nowadays?
  15. 1. Vinyl (till the end of the world ) 2. CD 3. Digital (don't care if it's wav, flac or high quality mp3)
  16. Probably I'll get a lot of shit for this but: maybe you should just give them LSD?
  17. I hope there are EARLY trains on Sunday cause my plane departs@7AM
