I also have searched for bpm counters in the past, but the the problem is that it's often an average the end result. And that's not entire correct off course. With goatrance from the early 90's it's very noticeable because often the bpm changes along the track The only bpm counter which I was satisfied off, was a plugin in winamp, that showed the actual bpm at that certain moment in the track. Like on turntables, So it depends, how accurate you want it. Then again I don't know what you mean for training, exercise? or?

Do you mean guys more light at night instead of darkness and only some black lights? Cause If you do, I would love that, The longer I visited goa parties, the longer I started disliking the night, the darkness, you don't see anything, it seems ages before you can find your friends, You can't see the artist playing or dj, just your neighbor dancing but totally no oversight at all of the crowd. There like no connection on the dance floor, it's everybody on his own... Well I experienced it that way... It was always when the sun rises and more light came into the dance room, I loved that moment. I even got a period (2 years) when I only arrived at goaparties at 6 'o clock in the morning, they lasted long enough, and I had some sleep before. What was an advantage too... Open airs are the best off course, although some can be very dark too at night, depends on the festival organizers. Full moon was always bright enough (well the ones I went too).... The cost of energy will be higher, that's a disadvantage ... Oh yeah, mfg is cool

Then again it's psynews, topics can still be moved, I only listen to trance when I'm not down, even dark psytrance like kindzadza, cosmo, hihgko etc make me happy or psychedelic.

I don't experience them as cheesy, melodic, yes, but cheesy. Cheesy is imo like mystica, california sunhine, D5 morning stuff... Pleiadians and etnica are not just based on morning tunes, especially the less melodic tracks like Merope and certainly "family of light".

There was a 720p but the language was only Russian and french, no English, Indeed I have a 27inch screen I don't think 720p or 1080p would make a difference... Then again If I want I want to watch it with a friend who has a huge LCD flatscreen (I don't know how much inch), but it's big, and I bring my laptop along, what happens occasional that would make a difference, and maybe later I'll buy one of those too, So it's like in investment in the future I guess And VLC uses my Gpu, so If I play 1080p > 25 gig .mkv files, my CPU is 30% busy, that's ok... Just storing them is a bit large...

I understand your need for a subgenre, but as long as the majority never decided to accept/call that music into a certain name, > 90% of the people will have no clue what you are looking for, and using google or other forums won't help. I knew when this type of psytrance was released around 2000-2002 many people called it "psytek" here in Belgium. We even had psytek parties for a while... But it didn't have that much success, people wanted melody back then... I don't know internationally. But the name didn't last long. When compilations got out filled with that type of music, Compilations like the typical ones, like goa-head, tantrance etc... they called it "psychedelic techno"... And now 10 years later I notice people calling fast psycho dark psychedelic trance like psykovsky etc "high-tech".... I wonder how long it will last... ps: I just entered psytek in google and got many results, maybe you get lucky and it was you are looking for...

I'm downloading them first, I'm curious, but I don't know, reading some posts... found them both in 1080p, if the visuals are so special, they around both around 25gig, that's big, I hope it's worthed....

Indeed, I thought you meant this, just checking, I know them from famous rock artist... Collectors items, mostly remastered, extra pic's etc... It would be nice, for artist who have been creating goatrance in the early 90's and still are producing... I have always seen those releases for the like 'super fans' with a lot of money , (no criticism), because those fans probably have most of the cd's already original... Space tribe is one of those who has enough releases. And are they all remastered or original mastering (just wondering). I don't think they should be remastered...

To be honest, one of the reasons why I like those artist is because they just create psytrance with so many different elements, progressive, dark, fullon etc combined so it's almost impossible to define which subgenre they are. That's why they are so varied and unique... I prefer not to categorize them. I do categorize when suddenly > 100 artist start making a new way off psytrance but 10 is not enough to my ears (my imo) I call them "crossovers" in my mind, artist that use different marks of the entire concept of psytrance... Great to hear your vibe btw, enjoy The reason why barby is so great is because he shifts from dark psytrance baselines, to fullon, to progressive and uses a dark atmosphere. That makes the album so great, but calling it a new genre. I don't know there is actually nothing new he present, he just combines already existing patterns.
