What music are you listening to right now?
thanosp81 replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
As I had said a year ago on Discogs For me this should be the gold standard when reworking oldschool goa releases into modern day standards/style -

Can someone please organise an event here in Liverpool with Goa Trance please? The only thing I get is that $h!t https://www.facebook.com/events/593962390811667/ No disrespect but it's just noise to my ears. I still go but only because there is nothing else

If ppl start posting campaigns here I am happy with that We just have to make sure that they post only music crowd funding campaigns.
-
Gz mate. This sounds like a loooooot of work. Happy that it was worth it
-
Someone ordering a poster expects to pay high shipping fees so I would say give it a go

It has been requested a couple of times before and maybe it's worth it. Should there be a dedicated thread for crowd funding campaigns? Especially in our scene where funds are limited. crowd funding seems like a good scenario for some artists. Ott has done it, Globular, Nervasystem, Aavepyörä. Some of them successfully, some others not. But I hate it when I find a campaign that I wanted to back only when it's too late, and I know I am not the only one. Having a dedicated thread for that might help resolve that issue. So??? Mod edit: https://www.psynews.org/forums/forum/119-crowd-funding-projects/ Running Projects: Aavepyörä complete discography USB

Lol, I had forgotten about those. Once again, this goes to prove that I am not a digital person

I haven't used a cassette for many many years now. Not even a discman (they drain the batteries so fast). Maybe you should try an mp3 player?

For me the sound of Elysium is the definition of Goa Trance and how it should sound, slow, hypnotic and psychedelic. And his reworked live version are amazing, they should be released on cd -
You better save those 20€ for a couple of months then, our first release will be Psychill

I always found Kristian quick to respond. Some months ago when I asked him about his new album he replied that it's coming, but I seriously doubt it right now -
And that shows that I have no idea about digital services

If you do make sure that you patent it Or at least let us know

CBL - Hydroponic Garden & World Of Sleepers

4 months since I paid. 1 month since I received the email that the order had been shipped. Still nothing -
I started listening to Goa Trance at 1995, I was 14 yo at the time. Obviously I didn't have my own income, so I was using (or not using) my allowance, going to the arcades and just watching other ppl play so I could save some money. Enough for a cd per month. Fast forward many years, having a good job and enough money to buy as many cds I needed in order to quench my thirst. In theory of course, my wife knows a lot of ways to cause physical and mental pain. And I understand her, I always feel I want to buy more releases than I actually have time to hear. So I set a limit to myself...£60 per month (excl. shipping). So when payday comes debit card is out of the wallet. I also allow myself for a couple of releases during the month for preordering and buy on day of release. And that's it. What about you? What are your buying habits/constraints?

I cannot stress it enough but....LOL
