  1. +1. 4Real is a great album. I don't have Gravity but the samples on saikosounds sounded pretty similar to the Highcosmos album, but without the same je ne sais quoi in my opinion. I'm not sure about this track. Towards the end it sounds like the cd is skipping, but I think that's part of the track because the sample on saikosounds skips in the same places. Can anyone confirm that it is supposed to sound like that? If so then it's an interesting idea but personally I find it kind of grating.
  2. Because it's great. Not in a clever, sophisticated way, but in a one-can't-help-but-headbang-while-this-is-playing way. Nuts to you. The 8th Sphere is, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest albums ever made. I loved the samples on The 8th Sphere; not corny at all I thought. The ones on Dream Fuel are mostly pretty lame but the music rocks nonetheless. It's kind of like he's taking the piss, as if to say "I can put any kind of shit on my records and they'll still be awesome".
  3. BUY THIS ALBUM! DO IT NOW!
  4. That's a pretty impressive lineup right there. Though in order to be complete it would need to include Raja Ram, emptying his bag.
  5. +1. It's a great show too (and I don't even like cars). Incidentally the only time I remember hearing psytrance on TV was on a sockumentary about strippers; Shpongle's Dorset Perception was playing as a dancer did her routine. What can say you now, Radi?
  6. It was awesome IMO. He was mostly playing stuff from his forthcoming album, of which there are short samples on his myspace page. Also playing that night were, among others, GMS (who were lame I thought) and Raja Ram, who varied between playing some damn good stuff and some astonishing crap; lots of fullon remixes of 80's pop songs, not to mention Hypersonic. Sorry for the crapness of the photos, they were taken on my phone.
  7. Yeah I'm not quite in Radi's league, thank goodness.
  8. Not very (I'm not that much of a fanboy). I just went for a slash shortly after his set finished and he was there. I spoke to him after he left the restroom. He was very friendly. His set rocked too.
  9. -saw Kindzadza play live -spoke to Kindzadza -watched Kindzadza pee It may well have been the best night of my frankly tragic life.
  10. Two pages of replies and not a single photoshop. Sort it the fuck out, people.
  11. Never mind. I got it in the post yesterday and first impressions are favourable.
  12. Yeah I see it now you mention it. Well spotted!
  13. Sorry. Won't happen again :P

  14. i knew it, just next time answer in my profile, so i dont have to run around like looney to find whos replied and who havent :P thats the etiquette :D

  15. I like Goa Gil! I looked on goagil.com and also his myspace page and there was nothing about a new album, but Avatar's website mentions it. It doesn't say whether it's an album or comp though.
  16. Life without Reger is no kind of life at all.

  17. sure, you cant live without me, now can you?

  18. I was about to say almost those exact words.
  19. Nice. I'm not sure why, but it reminds me a bit of the artwork produced for Shiny Entertainment's videogames.
  20. I just listened to some of the samples of this on saikosounds to see if Yahel is as bad as people say. Let's just say I won't be making that mistake again.
  21. I hope you don't mind, but I have set this as my desktop backdrop in the office.
  22. I don't know enough about either to tell how much it's due to good mastering and how much to good production, but there is definitely something about the sound quality on this album that is head and shoulders above most releases.
