  1. I liked the do you have any old mixtapes question. That would be off topic in music making wouldn't it? Can't you split it in two?
  2. Definately. One of the few albums that I have listened to loads of times & still love just as much as when I first heard it. Timeless indeed edit: it really is, listening to it right now & it fucking amazing. It actuall sounds better than when I first heard it
  3. It's random time today np Hallucinogen - The Herb Garden
  4. I missed my order. The fedex man came but I wasn't home Now I have to wait & arrange a new delivery time I'm really tired & want my new music
  5. Sorry, not proggy but more proggy sounding to me!
  6. The singing in a few tracks was actually really good. The rap was
  7. Now you didn't really recommend anything he had much chance of being able to buy now did you? IFO? Juggling the Black Alchemist? etc
  8. Some of the new album is indeed quite fullon but I would not say that Koxbox has jumped on the fullon bandwagon because the full on tracks on U-Turn are really quite good. I liked them more than the more proggy tracks. My favourite album is dragon tales followed by U-Turn
  9. If you want to ease her into Psytrance you must start with chill. Try & find some decent downbeat artists & look through their tracks for vocal tracks. It wont to big a shock if she's a Pop fan. example Omnimotion - Days of Silence Western Rebel Alliance - Falling Cass & Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix)
  10. Some of the tracks were quite nice. I wouldn't say it sucks! The Backstreet Boys suck! But overall it was quite forgettable. np OTT - Billy The Kid Strikes Back
  11. House used to be good & in the late 80s, early nineties was my genre of choice. It used to be a little more breakbeat but changed into a plodding 4-4. Nowadays I find that house music is like trance music but without any entrancing elements. It's just music, not an experience IMO. I can't get lost in it. And Hard House....
  12. Aye. Western Rebel Alliance did some great stuff. I was so looking forward to their album but it was kind of dissapointing
  13. If you want it too work remember to put lots of love songs on it! Soft ballads by boybands is probably they way to impress 99% of teenage girls! I doubt she'd be impressed with a load of pschedelic madness The only mix tape I still own is a 1988 practice tape by Sasha. My sister used to know him & was given it! It's really good!
  14. Shpongle - Crystal Skulls (Western Rebel Alliance Mix)
  15. Union Jack - No Armageddon
  16. Omnimotion - Days of Silence feat. Aleah This is one of the best downbeat tracks I've heard in a while. It has vocals but they are hauntingly beautiful As for the rest of the album. Some of Dream Wide Awake is very good while some is quite shitty but this track alone was worth the money!
  17. One of my best mate's is Gay & he has no problem with the word being thrown about like it is nowadays. It's just a word for fuck's sake. You are trying to be too politically correct which makes you seem (deep down) more homophobic!
  18. This CD is hit & miss. Some off the tracks are very nice & make me glad I bought the CD where as some are in a very trip hop style (Think Urban Species but not as good). Still a decent buy if not as good as previous alephzero ones
  19. I think I was absent that day! My teacher said technossomy was much better Anyway my top buyable gems are Trance Eat Static - Abduction The Mystery of the 13 Crystal Skulls (Tip World) The Secret of the 13 Crystal Skulls (Tip World) Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home Order Odonata (The Technical Use Of Sound In Magick) (Dragonfly Records) Project II Trance (Dragonfly Records) Juno Reactor - Labyrinth Jaia - Blue Energy / Blue Synergy Chill The Mystery of the Yeti 1 / The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences OTT - Blumenkraft Androcell - Efflorescence Fahrenheit Project part 2 (Ultimae Records) Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden Puff Dragon - Sazanami Abacus - That Much Closer to the Sun Youth - A New Chapter In Dub Vol. 2 - The Secret Language Of Ordinary Objects
  20. I miss small doses
  21. 1 2 3 4 5 6 That is 6 times in the last 6 days someone has been listening to Hallucinogen or Shpongle. Not including Radi. It's just not enough! Come on Radi! No other producer gets mentioned more.
  22. Nope! I was sad to have to give up Happy Mushroom status!

    V/A - Twelve

I definately agree with you! There is alot of depth to this album if you listen. So many of the tracks are so beautifully relaxing I can trip sober in the dark. Hallucinogen puts in the best effort with E. Another example of why I think Simon Posford should stick to chill!
  24. Don't know what to choose.... Hmmm maybe I'll go back.
