House used to be good & in the late 80s, early nineties was my genre of choice. It used to be a little more breakbeat but changed into a plodding 4-4. Nowadays I find that house music is like trance music but without any entrancing elements. It's just music, not an experience IMO. I can't get lost in it. And Hard House....

What music are you listening to right now?

Aye. Western Rebel Alliance did some great stuff. I was so looking forward to their album but it was kind of dissapointing -
If you want it too work remember to put lots of love songs on it! Soft ballads by boybands is probably they way to impress 99% of teenage girls! I doubt she'd be impressed with a load of pschedelic madness The only mix tape I still own is a 1988 practice tape by Sasha. My sister used to know him & was given it! It's really good!

Omnimotion - Days of Silence feat. Aleah This is one of the best downbeat tracks I've heard in a while. It has vocals but they are hauntingly beautiful As for the rest of the album. Some of Dream Wide Awake is very good while some is quite shitty but this track alone was worth the money! -
One of my best mate's is Gay & he has no problem with the word being thrown about like it is nowadays. It's just a word for fuck's sake. You are trying to be too politically correct which makes you seem (deep down) more homophobic!

This CD is hit & miss. Some off the tracks are very nice & make me glad I bought the CD where as some are in a very trip hop style (Think Urban Species but not as good). Still a decent buy if not as good as previous alephzero ones

1 2 3 4 5 6 That is 6 times in the last 6 days someone has been listening to Hallucinogen or Shpongle. Not including Radi. It's just not enough! Come on Radi! No other producer gets mentioned more. -
Nope! I was sad to have to give up Happy Mushroom status!
-
I definately agree with you! There is alot of depth to this album if you listen. So many of the tracks are so beautifully relaxing I can trip sober in the dark. Hallucinogen puts in the best effort with E. Another example of why I think Simon Posford should stick to chill!

Don't know what to choose.... Hmmm maybe I'll go back.

Tristan And A Green Nun - Babel Fish Fantastic track. Dark fast & psychedelic as fuck!

I have a complete Liquid Sound Design CD collection. An almost complete flying rhino collection & I'm getting close to a complete Ultimae one too. Just a couple of CDs in both! Oh I have a complete alephzero collection but that's small. I'm sure some other little labels I've completed without realising it

The cover art was good. Like most IM stuff! I like the new cover too. Let's see how the music is though.

They are more pop than a lot of psychedelic trance! That's for sure! -
A stand out compilation from a stand out label. LSD have delivered some fucking amazingly beautiful albums but this is just absolutley amazing!!! Nada : Earthgarden starts us off in a relaxed trippy hippy style. Mantra Man : Shivai continues in the same vein but gets a little more intense Nada : Raja Mati rounds off the feeling of the 1st 3 tracks in climactic style. Loop Guru : Climax (Youth & Humph's Remix) is good Tripswitch : Exiled is brilliant Nada : Manakhana slips by seemlessly J Viewz : Into The Mood makes you wanna come Adham Shaikh : Somptin Hapnin (East Shore Mix) builds that sensation Prometheus : Sweet Tooth releases it. (really looking forward to a chill album from this guy Tripswitch : Silver rounds of the album in fine style & after listening to the whole CD I am always disapointed that it's over One of they few CDs ' can play twice back to back

A quality release from Ambivalent Records needs to have at least one comment. Not just a track list. I bought this just after I bought the Scorb album Scorb! It's a nice collection of dark full on tracks. But don't worry if you think dark psy & fullon are shit because as dark as these tracks can be & as full on sounding as they are. They are not shit. They are fantastic. Really you should check this out especially the Scorb, Deviant Species, Rinkadink & Lemurians tracks!

This album kicks ass! A really good job from Bamboo Forest. Each track is hard & dark in the old flying rhino style that this albums was going to be released on earlier. This is an album that really deserves more replies than it has got as it is a very nice piece of work. Much better than Revival (which was a complete waste of shite)

A really nice relaxed album. The soundscapes painted are so barren that I feel so alone in the world. I like all tracks on this album but my favourite is the last track, Swimming with Stones. I just feel a sort of helplessness when I listen to this

An excellent release. A lot of vocals in this album but they are very well used & definately add to the atmospheres that are created. A really trippy album IMO. Not in my usual sense but in a travelling sense. I always get the feeling of moving from this album even when I'm still!
