  1. Tell us when you do. I was thinking the combination of a great label & innovative artist must be great
  2. My perfect ambient should be repetitive but with subtle variations throughout. It should be long, between 20 & 40 minutes long with a lot of spacey atmospheric sounds, subtle beats or beatless rhythm and softly muttered samples that are too obscure to understand. Pete Namlook & Mixmaster Morris - Hymn The Infinity Project - Under The Overtones The Circular Ruins - The Alchemy Concert Both MOTYs
  3. Still loving this brilliant piece of music. Much better than timelapse in mercury which has too many annoying sounds in it
  4. Plastikman & Hawtin in general never really appealed to me when I first heard but slowly grew & grew on me until I finally appreciated the music. I heard him play a few years back & was absolutely hypnotised
  5. Many tracks get remixed into a different genres successfully so I think that this could quite easily work. Just take the melody, play it on different instruments, get the rhythm & try to work that in & it could work pretty well. If anyone does this, they'll have to share it here :posford:
  6. How did it work out ordering from Amazon? I've never had a problem. Their prices are not always great, especially for rarer releases. I guessed they good have cheap prices due to the fact they are a big business.
  7. I find Gi'iwa to be crazy & complex. Gi'iwa
  8. Too true, there is nobody who needs to learn how to use crappy samples badly
  9. Nice one face Do you still listen to this Radi?
  10. There are some things that just have to be bought though Ishq & Pan Electric - About Time The new suntrip compilation and I heard that not only is POF coming with a new album they'll have a track on a timecode comp :posford:
  11. I have appeared on the chillout channel of Triplag I think they have a great chillout radio & darkpsy
  12. As a lover of subtlety I find creativity in places other people do not. Oldschool oozes creativity, if if you can tell when something was made based on the equipment used or the popular sounds does not mean that it is uncreative. Every artist I hear from the old days (well not the crap ones) sound distinctive as good artists do now
  13. Japan is well expensive though, it is much cheaper to buy form saikosounds or any webshop to be honest but the feeling of being in a store surrounded by psy is really cool
  14. Psyshop really needs to update it's sample system. The way saiko sounds does it now is perfect. 4 minutes & you can just play it instead of having to save it to you compooper!
  15. I like Takagi Masakatsu for modern classical. The concert he did in Tokyo a few years ago with singers & musicians around the world was great. He is a pianist btw
  16. That crap jumped out at me too
  17. Both crap in completely different ways. This one looks like it's failing to be sci-fi This looks like they have something in their pockets they want to share
  18. Have you ever been tripping your little brain out & wondered what it would be like to be inside literature? More specifically inside a poem? The Circular Ruins - Immer Du would be the perfect track for this. Or this would be the perfect place for this track
  19. The Circular Ruins - Immer Du
  20. Wish this was over new years when I'll actually be in England
  21. The Circular Ruins - Falling Into The Sky
  22. I like Battle Of The Future Buddhas
  23. Flying Rhino Records was the badgers nadgers. I had two great loves when my musical taste was growing to (im)maturity, dragonfly & flying rhino
  24. my review was not overly impressed on the whole
