It is the same with almost all labels, they are hit and miss. I do think that Ultimae is more hit than miss though, only a few albums I have not liked.

Half the world will never understand the pleasures of the other half. It can be hard to understand why other people do not love the same things you do. I listen to music that I like and it blows me away, the detail, the atmosphere, the haunting melancholy etc & other people hear it and think "utter shite!" always leaving me flabergasted. But it is a fact of life, people just don't like the same things. What is it that people see in what they love that I don't? Some people love Contemporary Jazz but all I hear is a random assortment of annoying noises. As for Kettel, I think he is a very talented artist, but the BEST electronic musician? That would be pushing it a lot for me.

There are a lot of people on this forum that come here not just because of the psytrance. I mean how many good straight up & down psytrance releases have there been this year? This site has two music sections now, General Psytrance for Psytrance, sub genres and psychedelic chill stuff! Then there is Other Electronica. There is not however an Other Electronica review section so reviews of other electronica have nowhere else to go but here. If you put all the reviews in the other forums they'd quickly get lost. In the review sections I think there should reviews that would appeal to the people of psynews! It is called PSYnews I know but it is not called psytrancenews. What is psychedelic is open to interpretation and for me Kettel fits nicely into my psychedelic chillout section. My Dogan took me on a rollercoaster ride inside my own head squeezing seratonin out of my eyeballs. Of course there is the question "Where do we draw the line?" of which many albums would be black & white! Britney Spears NO, Hallucinogen YES but there might be more grey areas! Imagine you are at a psy party & they played something in one of the other rooms! Don't you think that should be allowed to be reviewed here? I play in the backroom of psy parties and I play kettel, lots of 90's ambient, IDM psychill etc etc & it all goes down pretty well! It would be nice if the opening review had the picture of the album & the stats as it says in the rules though. So if there are any mods still left here, could you clean this thread up, delete all this off topic crap, warn us all and keep it here?

Why would you even listen to this? It so far from your taste, I am amazed you would buy this (free from saiko sounds) because if you just downloaded this I don't think you'd really appreciate it. Saying that, I didn't expect many people to like it, but I do when I am in the mood.

This album would really fit on a warm summers day at the beach. The atmosphere is very fitting with a brilliant summery feel. You might like it winter but I reckon you'd love it in summer

You can use it to edit your previous posts so that you don't need to post 4 or 5 posts in quick succession! I'm sorry but repeated quoting is much more irritating to read in the reviews than a few short replies about the album in question. On Topic. The spamming in the reviews is really annoying when trying to read on my cell phone. Can a mod get the members who reply to the whole first post 6 times in a row in just a few minutes to stop. It is pointless annoying spam. We have a multi quote feature that can be used. It is much more annoying than a stupid response in General IMO
