  1. Some crap....
  2. I kind of like classical stuff from Shakespear to Homer and Dante but I do feel that they are often so long in the tooth and full of a lot of hot gas. There are always long passages saying very little, a character describing his or her feeling or the situation in minute detail using a hundred words where they could have use 20 with the same effect. Although I like reading ancient literature I must admit that modern literature is much better. It has better character development, knows how to entice a reader and generally just blows the oldies out of the water. No I know that at least one of you disagrees (I can actually feel the future laying into me so) give it your best shot
  3. Johan Wolfgang von Goethe - Faust it's longwinded but there are some beautiful passages & images in it
  4. Although Eno is the daddy of ambient I don't really like much of his work. I'd go for Ambient 4
  5. I wish I could replace my last month of crap with your month of receiving such lush music Today I received sphingida presents origin and Kliment - The Perpectual Ritual both are surprisingly good
  6. Hi Spambot! Thanks for your utterly pointless posts (3 so far with absolutely nothing to do with the topics they are in) You wont be deleted because there is little to no moderation here anymore and no one looks in old review threads anymore so your particular type of extemely random spamming with no links to porn or virus ridden sites will no doubt go unnoticed. Next post you make, why don't you make an attempt to fool us into thinking you are a real person by participating in adjacency! Post something that makes sense in relation to anothers post or go and behold even answer someones post. That might make us believe you are real. Or you could just fuck off Brendan. Back on Topic. This must be one of my most used albums ever. I listen to it regularly & I use the tracks in DJ sets so often. Just last week I used Mos6581 and it went down a storm
  7. How do you actually double post when there is a flood control of 30 seconds? Is your internet that slow that you press "add reply" then after 30+ seconds it hasn't done anything & you hit it again only to post twice? I have double posted I think once as if I hit the add reply button twice I just get the flood control warning.
  8. You stopped that barbaric practice then?
  9. Yeah, I rock Karaoke in Japan is great. You go to a little room with your friends and no strangers listen to you & you don't need to listen to strangers
  10. I have found most ultimae to be like that. Cannot be judged on the first few listens. Not so easily accessible but fantastic once it is truly accessed
  11. Yagya - Rigning very nice music, beautifully relaxing. Perfect for chilled days staring out of the window Kettel - Myam James 2 Another nice chilled release. I thought more downbeat than My Dogan but more varied than Myam James Part 1, nothing like I was expecting from the review thread. No idea why I trusted it but it was way off IMO. A nice IDMish feel through with Kettels recent trademark sounds. Enough variety & divergence from previous albums to make this one worth it. Papa Legba - Dead Air Nice ambient leading to IDMish beats, all very cool. Should be getting a review of this one together soon Aes Dana - Leylines I can see the quality here but I think this will need some time to settle in Circular - Substans Great tracks, average album. No flow to it as an album, just a collection of good or great tracks. Disappointing as an album but will be very useful in the mix
  12. Cbl - mos6581
  13. Well, naturally I find this a million times better than Yagya's previous effort which for me was just alright but slightly dull relaxation. This however is beautifully involved music
  14. Today I received some sending orbs Yagya - Rigning Kettel - Myam James 2 earlier this week I got Aes Dana - Leylines and a few promos over the last month Papa Legba Circular - Substans (missing the case of this though) .... I forget
  15. candy ravers! They have fun though what? Most people don't see music as art, so let them have their shallow fun :drama:
  16. Cool! Well, I have no plans besides work for that time And the beach will be opening up! You like Karaoke?
  17. It is the same with almost all labels, they are hit and miss. I do think that Ultimae is more hit than miss though, only a few albums I have not liked.
  18. You like your ultimae then No room for E2xtended by Solar Fields?
  19. I really like this so far! Best ultimae of the year & that includes solar fields' last album IMO
  20. Ooohhh!! I am not impressed by this one
  21. Half the world will never understand the pleasures of the other half. It can be hard to understand why other people do not love the same things you do. I listen to music that I like and it blows me away, the detail, the atmosphere, the haunting melancholy etc & other people hear it and think "utter shite!" always leaving me flabergasted. But it is a fact of life, people just don't like the same things. What is it that people see in what they love that I don't? Some people love Contemporary Jazz but all I hear is a random assortment of annoying noises. As for Kettel, I think he is a very talented artist, but the BEST electronic musician? That would be pushing it a lot for me.
