  1. It's a psynews thing. See, some members here don't like his work, can you believe that? It's akin to not liking oxygen. I don't know, some people, eh.
  2. Point taken, but surely it's worth having for the beautiful Conquistadors Part 1 and Angels and Men.
  3. Disappointing, isn't it.
  4. I didn't even know this was classed as progressive. The album's good and I've listened to it frequently... but I dunno, I feel there's not enough happening in the tunes, not enough variety or evolution. I definately prefer fatter, multi layered tracks that make use of the entire frequency. My analogy is this: if Haldolium is a tasty burger then artists like Prometheus are medium-rare steaks with saute potatoes and a rocket and spinach leaf salad.
  5. Who's the interviewer and will it be a face-to-face interview? I'm curious.
  6. Don't tell heva that. It will only upset her.
  7. What Astro said.
  8. Now that concept I get, indeed it fits the track like a velvet glove. A beautiful, purple, velvet glove. I've had it on repeat on Windows media player for the last 30 minutes now and it really is excellent, gets better with every listen. I'm confident everyone here who plays it will enjoy it and expect many similar comments to mine.
  9. Isn't this thread, by it's very nature, something of a contradiction in terms?
  10. Can you ask him to be more like Simon Posford?
  11. Definately your best yet, Otto. It's abstract, distinctive and original. Especially like the backgroud bits that sound haunting and slightly vocal. Is it a vocal you used? What's the concept behind this one? Have to admit I didn't really get the spaceship concept of your last track even after repeated listening.
  12. Knocking 'em out a bit fast, aren't you? Jesus. Downloading now, via the power of broadband.
  13. Interesting concept. I'll think of that the next time I listen to it and see if it fits my perception.
  14. I'm a goa-head (as you probably know) but still feel this track makes for enjoyable listening. It's very, very reminiscent of Commodore 64 music which I'm a huge fan of, particularly the work of Tim Follin and Chris Hulsbeck. It's amazing what those guys created using 8-bit computer technology. Not sure if I like it as much or if it's as good as your last track but then they're quite different in the vibe they create so comparing them is difficult. I especially like the bell-like-sounding melody that start in at 3:39, really nice, dreamy, floaty sound. Not bad, Otto. Not bad at all.
  15. I think I'd just play one of the Shpongle albums straight through. I mean how much variety does a person need?
  16. Mycel, glad to see you're alive and well. Some of us thought you might be dead.
  17. Shame really. Annoying though he often was I sometimes miss him on here. Oh well.
  18. Isn't he? What username is he using now?
  19. rain's gone, man. He's gone.
  20. Yup, Dragonfly Records were legendary. They did go a bit shitty towards the end mind.
  21. I know. Alas, I imagine it would have been sweet to trip to.
