    Heavy metal.

    Russian Circles!
  3. Progressive trance is versatile (and it probably needs its own topic), it's the technoid progressive Tegma Bigwigs.. but you have also the morning stuff of Son Kite and Vibrasphere... Do not underestimate the art of Progressive Trance! Jaïa - Fiction <-- Love that progressive!
  4. Was about to enter the tesseract realease as a bonus XI... but saw more people making recommendations. So to make it fair 10 is the final verdict. I will remember the last two (XI & XII) don't worry... next time I order from PS, I'll get 'em!
  5. Order placed at psyshop! Express parcel with tracking, slightly expensive this so don't want it to get lost... hmmm.
  6. This is how it looks. I'll probably will get the CDs in about ten days as most are not at hand (orange). I) Filteria - Lost In The Wind (Shpongled247) II) Artha - Influencing Dreams (Penzoline) III) Mindsphere - Patience For Heaven (Manuser) IV) Hedonix - Guerilla Ontology (sidetrakkt) V) Crossing Mind - The Inner Shift (Scandasia) VI) Kindzadza - Nano Ninja (Rotwang) VII) Zirrex - Ritual Dance (Paul Eye) VIII) Logic Bomb - The Grid (Padmapani) IX) PortaMento - The Portal (Veracohr) X) Procs - Touchdown In Hizzytown (juril) I'm going to stay with these first ten ones, I'll keep the ones from mars and drosophila in my mind for next time. Observe that this is just a list, nobody has won yet!
  7. uuh... that sounds more like UK Garage... pre-dubstep genre though.
  8. Indeed a bit restricted when it comes to the choice of shops, but I want to get them all in one go. Not necessarily does it need to be produced 2010 and forward but the CD in question has to be released during this period. Luckily you gave the second cronomi recommendation, as I already have the Etnica Live 2xCD. And so... who'll be taking the last slot, hmmm?
  9. kindzadza hmmm... this is shaping up to be real interesting indeed. the whole ektoplazm catalogue is quite impressive, I would do well to explore it someday... logic bomb has always kept their standards set high so any album would do actually, but The Grid will be chosen for this batch.
  10. A gentleman knows his place in the universe and makes the most out of it for himself and everyone in his surroundings... I'm far from a gentleman but perhaps I'll garner points from listening to Crossing Mind.
  11. I like this... very very much. http://www.discogs.com/Ø-Phase-Binary-Opposition-Reprocessed-Part-3/release/3713232 oooh damn, that one has gone discogs-expensive!
  12. that tim hecker was unreal, got me stoned the first 30 seconds. Like aphex twin but less scittering and more mental... absolutely disturbing. Lovely stuff indeed.
  13. words like that always rhymes with Drop Bass Network, but I should probably listen to your clips before I venture further... http://www.discogs.com/label/649-Drop-Bass-Network
  14. Belgians on the lose here. Belgium is the place to be for psychedelic trance and "neo"-goa these days? edit: there we go Australia, nice!
  15. Humanity's Fire is a complete trainwreck in my opinion. It's got so much influences all over I can hardly keep track, he must have gotten into deep Avatar frenzy there. Have a go with gavin smith instead ( http://www.gavingsmith.com/ ). His books Veteran and War In Heaven completely blew my head right of my shoulder, still trying to find it... just finished of You is fun! & Which is Dan Simmons Carrion Comfort all over again... been there, but it's OK for getting time to run smoother. & Thought it would be more of an eye opener but not really. Mostly ideas being discussed... Reading back to the cheese...

Pelican I like... trying to get myself to buy more slow grinding groovy funky metal that is to be played at head exploding volume Saw a Tool, here the H... very good indeed
  17. ah yeah, the TM404, why am I not purchasing that stuff!? get the vinyls from these guys too http://www.discogs.com/artist/3325223-Dard-Å-Ranj-Från-Det-Hebbershålska-Samfundet and Recondite http://www.discogs.com/artist/2120212-Recondite
  18. Good start that. I have nothing from Suntrip, neither do I have any excuses not to have any of their CDs so I'll see to it that I get that CD at least. I was tempted earlier to get the D5 stuff but it just poured right through my fingers for some reason... I seriously need to venture out of my comfort zone, the 3D Vision Story 03 compilation I purchased was a complete dud. When I'm buying stuff I'm a decade out of phase (just like that compilation)... it's slightly disconcerting.
  19. I've been out of the loop since 5+ years now, something like that. I'd like to get into the loop once more and am going to turn to the people I know knows their shit... which is you, of course. 1) Now, I'm going to settle for 10 CDs at the moment. 2) You will be choosing the 10 CDs for me (because I have no clue myself). 2.5) These will still have to be available at psyshop. 3) One member can only choose 1 CD (that means 10 members have to respond with a CD to this topic). 4) You have to choose one (and only 1!) of your favorite Psy/Goa (note that there is no hippy ambient specified, I'm in the loop when it comes to that) CDs from the timespan 2010-Present (yeah, I know I've been out of the loop longer than that but want to make it a bit easy for you). 5) Once 10 records has been choosen ordered and received I'll have to review them all here on psynews. 6) The member (or the members) that turn out to have chosen the best CD(s) in my opinion will have the privilege of getting 2 CDs of his/her/their choice from psyshop for free (yes I'll be paying). You may visit my discogs collection if that would help you in your choice of CD...

  21. Damn, I gave up on this topic and you had a reply going just a week after my last post. Please keep on dropping those historical novels in here even though I seem quite absent! If you liked follets "pillars" you will like world without end as well... so don't discard it just because I'm being a critic. I'm turning my eyes onto Michael Mortimers - Jungfrustenen next, which is a swedish fictional historical work about carl linnaeus... six freakin books though. Much to keep track of.
  22. what's with big fuckin' pictures? maybe my computer is too small?
  23. it's an william gibsonesque early 90s era adaptation of an x-men world war II... combine gibsons beginners stuttering one liners sentences and you'll get the picture. It's not all that bad, but you can stay clear of this one without any problems to your existance at all.
