Oh i know this topic already came up a few times but it's always good to keep it fresh !! We already talked about Gappeq in another topic, i want to talk a little bit about Omegahertz.... HOLY SHIT this huy is GOOD !!! Have you heard Cosmovatis on Fragile life compil [cosmicleaf](Awesome compilation btw) ?? It's one of the best ambiant tracks i ever heard ! For those of you who loves melodic psy and ambiant, this one is a masterpiece!! I shiver every time i listen to that amazing track !! As far as i know he's got 3 other tracks all on unicorn and cosmic leaf records which are - love me for a last time on Good mood - Nostos on Chill on ice - Ionian seas on Nova Natura Love me for a last time is more like good old goatrance with nice melodies, we can see the guy as lot of talent concerning emotionnal melodies Nostos is a bit easier but still enjoyable Ioania seas got an interesting twist in it and i appreciate it a lot, but it's still cosmovatis the best for me !! I was happy to learn not too long ago that he would release an album along with Goasia called Purple energy 2 on Unicorn music coming up in september !! Here's some info in the guy found on Unicorn/cosmic leaf records website (http://www.unicorn-music.net) OmegaHertz is Pouranis Dimitrios, disk jockey for years, working professionaly at several clubs of Athens and out of capital.The 1994 he occupied with electronic music, massively, having central interest to the formerly Techno Dance, making his first steps like music produser to night entertainment centers, (night clubs). He has accomplished Byzantine music studies, attendance speechies, short period lessons, (ceminariums), for the Pythagorean music and armony of celestial spheres, and also has been exposition overseer for global modern, music technology. yeah gappeq is amazing i really love his stuff.. Like death posture said very well, his tracks are always stand out tracks on compilations and that's exactly what made me discover him.. I love his subtle melodies and samples well placed within the tracks.. As far as i know he's got those tracks released: - 3bk1 on a compilation called sonic pantomime - Birth of the dragon on peacemaker - Digital art on A little lunacy - Theory of everything on In crypto - Tower of babel on The numinous - One soul on Satellite - Genetically dirty on sonic pantomime - Macrocosmos on Sundaze Can'T wait to the album !!

Real good "melodic-enlightened" trance is pretty rare is these days... Can't wait to Azriel's release!! Anyway thanks for that awesome album that gives me good time every time i listen to it !!

Wow excellent job with the results !! It'd have been nice to get even more people voting though.. (yeah yeah i know more work for you to compile all that ) I'm happy with the results i think Khetzal deserves the first spot.. I know he's coming out from nowhere but man Corolle is amazing ! Without generalizing, i think lot of French people are like that; they work hard on their stuff and they won't release anything they're not 100% happy with.. they like quality, and i like it like that !! lol !!

Yeah the second album isn't as profound as the first unfortunately but still very enjoyable.. Aes Dana made himself few tracks a bit like the first asure but i can't remember the names.. :-( H.U.V.A. network: symetric lifes sounds like it and it's a delight ! Also Aes Dana: Opal-in both on V/A Futurespective mixed by no other than Aes Dana (lol!)

I was just listening yesterday my good old Asura: code eternity cd and maaaaannnn it's good !! So profound and full of meaning, i got inspired so much by it ! Since i got that cd i've been ever looking for similar without any great success, and i've been looking a LOT !! hehe !! Of course some Aes Dana tracks are a bit alike (Obviously since it's one of the guys from Asura) but not quite as profound.. I heard few tracks here and there that almost satisfied me but not quite !! Have you heard anything like this ?

Looks like it differs from country to country as well because here, there's no way it's stands for "personnal appearance"; you never see a guy doing a "Live PA" spin cds, people would just tear the place down !! lol !! And over here, it is actually used in other music spheres than electronic and that's where i got my "performing act" answer !! digital manipulation has been made before brain stretching.. He's got tons of unreleased albums which are all nice to listen to, it's his way to work, to evolve; he puts everything on cd.. I've been following him since he made one of his first cd "rêve de neige" and in my opinion brain stretching is really the best so far! He's just evolving at a really fast pace, i can'T wait for the next one ! He also had a track on the compil "paeking goddess" from peak Label.. Lots of info and tracks, like somebody already said, on his website..

i agree about dark soho's combustion; it's just amazing ! Cassandra's nightmare from Xenomorph is imo one of the best dark psy ever created.. I'd add to that list psykovsky which stands by himself.. I don't think he released an album yet, but man everything i heard from him completely amazed me!

yeah shambhala is awesome ! The energy is very pur out there ! And the site was just beautiful the year i went .. In BC there isn't anything big for psytrance, but there's an awesome scene though.. Last summer in BC, deliria (www.deliria.org) threw an amazing party in the middle of the mountains with Visual Paradox.. It was one the best site i've seen for that kind of party !! 3 hours away from Vancouver, in the middle of the forest surrounded by mountains with a little river flowing just beside... You know, the "mountain paradise".. it's there !! The vibe was really dement and very pur, everybody was sooo nice i couldn't believe it !! wow wow !! If you're in Ontario though i'd still suggest eclipse with that line-up !!
