yeah, totally mindblowing ! Better than androcell in my opinion .. He played at a party at NYE in my city and i missed it.. (((((( Man i was sad ! But i had to work the morning after and he was playing at like 6 AM ..

i agree ! i don't know if you meant to make me fit the hat, but i never said i knew what was good for my scene, i know what is good for me, what kind of party I like .. Personnally i don't like parties where there's a lot of superficial people, staying in small groups and not talking to anybody, looking at your weird if you got anything different from others .. Where happiness is an illusion, where love is fake.. some might like it, not me ..

Around here there's no such thing as voov or boom or anything big.. don't need to be big to be exceptionnal though. My fav party was a 3 days party called Natura in eastern Canada in 2002.. It was very far in the bushes, you had to drive like 1 1/2 hour from Montreal to get there, in the middle of nowhere.. who played i have no idea, all locals, but the music was always good, good ALL THE TIME without any break ! But the most exceptionnal was the vibe, the people.. the ambiance was so magic, people were soooooo nice, everybody was kind of linked together, there had no limits, everybody could talk to everybody without being looked weird, it wss totally opened.. I call it the real vibe, the pur one, where nobody is there to see something, but to live it, all together.. Those 3 days were the best, so much happened, so much happened in me and in other peoples.. I can't even find the words to describe how it was ...

I completely agree with you Seraph.. however i don't think the vibe is gone. Yes most of the big psytrance parties (depending where you live) are like Daffy described, but these people are the new people, coming for a fashion (not all of them, never generalise!) .. The pur Psytrance lovers are still up there somewhere, and very often in small little underground parties you see just that, like the old days.. Happy people everywhere, smiles everywhere, people being themselves everywhere, people there for the love of the music.. They're still out there, we're still out there !! For example i went to a very small party this summer in the middle of the woods, we had to drive like an hour and a half on a logging road to get there.. really in the middle of nowhere, but surounded by mountains all around, it was so pretty.. It was at 2-3 hours away from the big city around here.. And the people that were there were ALL truly psytrance lovers, ALL very nice people,very profound.. It was awesome ! Ok maybe those are rare, but when they happen ohh you enjoy every moment you live it !!

hey Seraph i gotta thank you again for that Terra ferma suggestion ! Just listening to turtle crossing right now and maaannn !! This is well made music ! It's already in my top cds ! And the more i listen to "the adventures of Terra Ferme" the more i like it ! If you got more like that keep em coming !! hehe i know you said before you didn't have any more but just in case!

ritual om i know what you mean by: ohhhhhhhhhhhh meeeeeennnnnnn yessssssssssssssss !! hehe ! That album is truly in the heart of melodic.. it is in my heart too ! Live at Ducth Dimension is really amazing as well !! And being in the subject, one of my favs in that category is talla 2XLC: Live at space club ibiza which is not good all long but has a few really AMAZING tracks with instrumental piano i never heard before .. I just listened to standing by VNV and ohh yeah it is good music ! I'd like to hear an instrumental version of it .. I think the vocals could have been a bit better, but hey i'm really really picky when there's vocals, because i used to hate vocals; now i don't mind it (and even like it on some cases) but it has to be "fine art" if you know what i mean ! Maybe a girl vocals would fit better in "Standing".. The whole "empire" album impressed me. I don't used to like Industrial, but i might begin to like it more now ! The track "legion" is also really good ! Thanks for that suggestion ! Union Jack has some pretty interesting stuff i agree.. Nothing to bach my head into a wall though !!

i LOVE John 00 but i don't think that compil is gonna be special neither good.. It just looks like a bunch of tracks one after the other one.. John 00 really reveals himself best when he plays Live.. ohhh man he's awesome !!

hehe actually i already have all of them ! hey, i'm a melodic lover; no way i could pass on cygnus-X and spicelab !! hehe ! i'm joking ! Cygnus-X is actually really good, let's say in my top... 25.. I just made some reseach on mars and mystre and realized they had way more stuff than i thought ! I have a couple cds with random songs i've had forever, i don't even remember where they come from ! But these 2 cds are really in my favs, the tracks are just awesome ! They got brilliant melodies that strech long like terra ferma a little bit.. Anyway i realized they had 3-4 albums !! ohhh i gotta get that ! I don't know if they're gonna be as good as the tracks i got, but i hope !! Well said about Turtle crossing: endless melodies streching into infinity, i couldn't find better words ! spicelab is good but i'd have to listen to it a bit more.. Ambiant is still pretty new to me, i've never really been interested into it before a year ago.. LSG i really didn't like, i found it too simple, not enough "content".. It's still a while ago since i listened to it though.. It was the black album..

Seraph we share the same tastes ! However, there is some new stuff that's pretty amazing.. It's the kind of stuff you'll put on in 5 years and you're gonna say: "Man the new stuff (2010) is nothing like the old stuff! (2004-05)" As for the topic question, i'm more into melodic, but i love Dark too ! Sick of full-on ! :s

You were right Seraph, i loved terra Ferma: turtle crossing !! I recommend it to every melodic lovers that can listen to other stuff than psy.. this album is awesome, very intelligent, very well produced and each track is made with lot or work and... love ! yep, love !! hehe! These are the words i found to describe it best, when i listen to this album i feel the love they put in their music, it's awesome ! It makes me think to my good old Mystrë and Nostrum.. Before trance became super popular.. It was very simple music, but sooo good ! In these old days they use to put much more work into melodies, trying to develop melodies that'd really touch you, that'd penetrate your entire body and mind.. Trance state was reached by melodies only.. That kind of stuff is really rare in these days.. And i'm looking for it, all the time !! hehe !! Anyway thanks for the suggestion, you got any more like these ?? If you liked this album, try "Mars and Mystre" They're mindblowing if you like that kind of music !

I knew it wasn't the "goa" symbol, but it was the only way i found to explain what i was looking for.. I noticed it in many psytrance symbols and i knew i had something to do with India culture (or hindou).. What you say is very interesting, i'd like to know more about it.. The spectrum, the sound of the sun, the infinite, dreamstate.. Those are all things i think,study and write about a lot, things i'm really into and interested in.. It's stupid i always see that logo when i browse psy websites and now that i'm looking for it i don't find it anymore !! I'm just looking for that "goa logo", you know that little sign usually black and white representative of goa... If somebody got it please post it ! I just love that tracks (don't remember the title and i don't have my album handy) where there's that phone ringing and the beat gets faster and faster.. The story in that track is amazing !!
