I'd start off with something with a nice long intro... Perhaps Mi-Looney-Um rmx? - Slow the tempo down playing progressively chilled out music - then to almost beatless, Flute Fruit is a good one... then build it back up, maybe spin Jaia - Missing, and end with Shulman - Instability. So.. Hallucinogen - Mi Looney Um (In Dub) Pitch Black - Ape To Angel (Bluetech rmx) Asura - Land & Freedom Tripswitch - Exiled (Manta Mix) Shpongle - Flute Fruit (Maybe throw in Hallucinogen - E here) Shpongle - Crystal Skulls (Western Rebel Alliance rmx) Jaia - Missing Shulman - Instability By the way... I've never actually dj'd properly before in my life, but that's probably what I'd go with. Fill it out a little perhaps, depending on how long you've got to spin.

It's difficult.. you could always split the forum, but you always get crossover topics for crossover music and I think splitting a forum into many subforums for each genre is being ridiculous.

General discussions about Psytrance - IMO we discuss more than that in here. Perhaps it should be changed to Psychedelic music - or just music? Cast your vote.

Lemme see... I have craploads of midi files from when I used to write in school.. but only 4 actually properly realised tracks... and about 100 fragments of tracks.

Yes, exactly. I'd prefer her on MTV (which I don't actually watch, ironically) than Skazi. It's very easy to say that all psytrance is shit nowadays - and no OD, just because you listened to Trentemøller (or another particular different cd) doesn't render all other music as lower/higher... Perhaps it's good to you because you've been listening to the music in this genre too much and things like The Last Resort, being completely different, is what will excite you about the music... Music is subjective, ultimately - and can depend on many things - mood, time of year etc. Perhaps you think it's shit because you've grown tired of this style?

Actually, I prefer Britney's music to Skazi's music.

I'm just a little nervy about first time online shop purchases (repeat buys are judged on the first purchase), of course if there's nowhere else to buy TT releases from then I'll have to buy direct.

I was just wondering if any of you IDM fans have bought from Toytronic.com - are they any good? I bought one of their comps off Juno.co.uk but can't find the rest of their catalogue - so if there's a good reseller or you have had a positive experience with TT direct let me know.
