  1. Super. In addition to Ektoplazm the compilation is hosted here on psynews.org: http://www.psynews.org/media/contests/VA_-_Sideffect_(Psynews_Contest_2013_Compilation).zip
  2. When I was still a student I could do 12 hours straight then my knees would ask me to yield. Between 25-30 it went down to 4 hours or so. After 30, this is exactly it
  3. That was a great effort indeed. No matter the form, as long as you keep reviewing, because you're a great contributor.
  4. "The Wizard", the absolute ultimate Slinky track. Sooooo psychedelic.
  5. I'm very happy with how it has evolved Good point Richpa, totally my thoughts.
  6. It happened to me years ago, the problem was the player. It happens more often in car readers, because of the vibrations. Technically speaking, I mean, at the press level, your CD isn'lt likely to be defective at the end rather than at the beginning, unless the CD exceeds 80 minutes, which might increase the defect rate. This is only theoretical, a red book fanatic would argue there are risks above 76 minytes but this is bullshit. Most presses go over 82 minutes flawlessly. Now you may also be the one guy in the world stumbling several times in a row upon THE one badly pressed CD over the whole batch. Very unlikely.
  7. Radi, go on http://www.suntriprecords.com/releases/ and tell me if you see "MP3: Order" and "FLAC: Order" ? Then go on http://www.suntriprecords.com/shop/ and tell me if you see under most items "Check other formats" which lead you to the product details page where you can also order in MP3/FLAC ? I admit the site is not really ergonomic, if I weren't sick I would work on that, but seriously, it takes a lot not to see our digital offers!
  8. Completely. Maybe there was a similar super-utopic-melody-all-the-way feeling in Sky Input but the production was completely different and this was 9 years ago.
  9. This is a working title. The point is to make poeple understand it will be more twisted and acidic than Pathfinder. I disagree of course. Emnuel is still working in the album, he has lots of ideas, tracks are reworked, replaced by others, remixed...and Suntrip has already a pretty heavy release schedule for the second half of 2013. So we're heading to a release by early 2014 and a LOT of things might happen until then.
  10. THIS is why Psytrance is THE shit
  11. Oh dammit where has my memory gone ? Let's look at the answers now: Ouuuuuch 18 correct only, but I had 24 groups right. Good job Ormion !!!
  12. Goa: Pleiadians - IFO Psy: Nerso - Exploration of Infinity
  13. That video on the first post is so true...and sad... What makes me happy with it is that we (Suntrip) release something completely different. Note the source of this video is on Loud's Youtube page, and they can, because they are amongst those who have a non-"normalized" sound.
  14. Right. Having received recently the kind of phone call where the other person tells you "drop everything you're doing, go to the hospital's emergencies NOW", and since I've been stuck in that hospital for 3 months, I experienced something between B and C. I filled a cabin-suitcase and a small backpack, and he backpack contained my laptop with 100+ GB of music. But if I didn't have that laptop that would be: Hallucinogen - Twisted Total Eclipse - Violent Relaxation Pleiadians - IFO Etnica - Live in Athens Astral Projection - Trust in Trance 3 Oforia - Delirious Nerso - Explorations of Infinity Miranda - Phenomena RA - 9th VA - Order Odonata - The Experiments that Identify Change
  15. Blueroom +1 I saw GMS in Sept. 98, and it was the only time they made me really dance.
  16. Kheztal Live in Belgium March 2007. No link available, unfortunately.
  17. Ahahaha excellent answer Richpa! Yet, the one that suits me best remains:
  18. There's still buying cds, who are typically 30+ and who like to hold a quality product in their hands. CD sales decreases, true, but remain decent if you release good music wrapped in a nice artwork. IMO there's no denying digital media's are overcoming all the rest. Please read my interview on psytrance.pl (and Anoebis' interview on Neogoa) for infos on why/how Suntrip makes limited editions, and what I think about this shift in the way people consume music and the piracy surrounding it.
  19. I'm thinking of travelling, through space or nice landscapes.
  20. Quite so. After a long hesitation, between Starship101, Vimana, History and Trip Tonite, I chose: Vimana!
  21. I've heard most of it, it's really good.
  22. I download more or less everything, make a quick sort (dark: out, fullon: out), listen to all the rest and buy everything I like in an online shop.
  23. When I saw the title ni my RSS reader I thought it was a post by Lost Buddha. You made my day.
  24. I completely agree. Just look at this summer's festivals lineups.
  25. Incredible, there's a pattern: everyone who's trying to be creative and isn't interested in making big bucks gets criticized. Let's ignore this baboon.
