  1. I feel like the artwork fits the music well and the concept to which Eat Static has adhered throughout the years. I would've loved to have this as 2x12" especially because of the artwork.
  2. UNIKORP - URBAN RIDDLES EP DVSM RECORDS - http://www.dvsmrecords.org Artwork by Benjamin Littin, Chile. Mastering by Maxim 'makus' Kurushyn' @ Overdream Studio. Cat#: DVSMDIG007 Renato Moreira, also known as LAB, has prepared some new Unikorp beats to accompany you this summer: a touch of lounge, experimental electronics and intelligent drum'n'bass. Enjoy! Samples & Download: https://dvsm.bandcamp.com/album/urban-riddles-ep Will also be available on iTunes, Spotify, Juno and other platforms on August 4. Wish you all a wonderful summer! /Alex @ DVSM
  3. Psyshop is perhaps not the only psytrance online store said to have a skeleton in the closet.
  4. Review by Trance2MoveU online: https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/70035-maan-swarm-robotics-ep/ Thanks for the feedback, Mike!
  5. Hey psyber, Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, we're keen to unveil the Purosurpo & Zoon release, too. We wrote about that in the newsletter that was sent out today (Would you like me to register you? Just need your e-mail.). You can read the newsletter here: http://ymlp.com/zLa7k5 (there's a part about the World Ski Championships, too, which are currently taking place in DVSM town :-)). This is what we wrote: ... so yes, the plan is to release a CD version of that one. :-)
  6. PARANOIAC - RITMO Y SUSTANCIA EP DVSM Records / DVSMDIG005 / 2015.02.25 Mastered by Maxim 'makus' Kurushyn @ Overdream Studio Artwork by Rusty Psyflyart Atmospheric rhythms for the small hours (featured in Goa Gil's Divine Dozen). Hailing from Argentina, Paranoiac is the first South American artist to release an EP through DVSM Records. Through an infinite corridor of sound rhythmic sequences emerge – guiding and transforming – sustained by the ritual dance. Three tracks, each delving deeper, and deeper. Proud to present you with our new release, we bring you Ritmo Y Sustancia EP. Tracklist 01 - To Wash You 02 - Ritmo Y Sustancia 03 - Y Me Perdi SAMPLES / PURCHASE DVSM Bandcamp If you're interested in reviewing this release, please get in touch with us at info (at) dvsmrecords (dot) org.
  7. MAAN - SWARM ROBOTICS EP DVSM Records / DVSMDIG004 / 2014.12.25 Mastered by Colin Bennun (OOOD) Artwork by ShivaOm. Fractal background by C-91. Poem by Håvard J. Nilsen All revenue donated to the A21 campaign whose aim is to fight trafficking. A glimpse of the rising sun between the trees. It is 6 am and sequences characterised in part by analogue warmth, in part by digital resonance, emanate from the speakers. Hailing form Norway, Frode Ungar has pieced together his debut EP, the mood of which is contemplative, floaty and in some ways reminiscent of Scandinavian get-togethers long past. We are therefore pleased to present you with our latest release, Maan – Swarm Robotics EP. AVAILABLE Bandcamp: https://dvsm.bandcamp.com/album/swarm-robotics-ep (get it directly from us) iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/se/album/swarm-robotics/id948715295?l=en Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/album/2HRQSFc4NLdTCYEAW7ErZH Juno Download: http://www.junodownload.com/products/maan-swarm-robotics-ep/2659788-02/ Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Swarm-Robotics-Ep-Maan/dp/B00QN2C9PI
  8. I must admit that the LSD remix sounds quite interesting. I get goosebumps by listening to that sample. AP will always be.... AP. Oh, those were the days...
  9. I quite enjoyed Aztechno Dream back when it came out, but it probably had more to do with the fact that there were quite a few good parties thrown back then. It was straight, simple and party friendly, as far as I can remember, however I'm not sure I'd feel that today were I to listen to it again. The last two albums, on the other hand, now that's where I was left stranded on a desert island.
  10. +1. Only good memories.
  11. Back to the roots, as it were: Cold war space-race SF anno 1967.
  12. Not that I can relate to what you describe completely, but my CDs are still boxed up in a storage after my years of living abroad. I have only my vinyl records accessible, which is still my format of choice. Sometimes I wonder what's in my collection, really. I mean, I used to scan the shelves and see what hidden gem waited to be rediscovered, so to speak.
  13. I thought that the first novel was rather good whereas the following two were at times perceived as quite dull with few interesting moments. I'd recommend anyone who's started to scratch on the surface of this type of space opera to get immersed in Iain M. Banks' novels instead (The Player of Games is one of my favourites). On a different note, I just finished reading Arthur C. Clarke's The Hammer of God. Clarke's ability to offer what feels like a plausible peek into the future is simply mind-boggling and still accessible.
