holy shit, i missed this topic back then, just heard for the first time! wow is all i can say bring this to the masses people, he needs to be heard, and praised for pure genius, back in 82! fuck me! when groups like survivor, softcell, joan jett were god's in the pop scene only jmj, and kraftwerk had brought their talents to the people i am interested if other artists, who established our scene, ever heard him back in the day, and possibly influenced by it. had anyone here ever heard of, or heard this, before this thread?

space tribe - sonic mandala - wow i had forgotten about this album, and listening to it all these years later, it's strong but def not my favorite, almost sounds abit dated, but won't ditch ollie as he still shares many crowns. man with no name - moment of truth - like some tracks on this album, has always been a funny love hate relationship va flying rhino essence re -evolution 1V - i love these albums and have a strong bond with them as my dad was dying of lung cancer when i bought it, great freestyle mix by james, and techy proggy mix by lucas, reminds me why i have the symbol on my arm!

what about cosmosis? what about raj and shpongle alot of artists do the live thing, sequencing, instruments, tweaking you name it i think shpongle do it the best along with younger brother and uni. when it comes to just plain old live set as we know it, if you string a few sequences together and change the original does that constitute as live? i remember lab 4 the hard dance duo had this problem years ago with people saying they wern't really live. but after further investigation, they were stringing whole sets together on the fly, then with live drummer etc. if thats the case, couldn't you count infected mushroom in there to? drumming and singing if you can stomach it juno, def to a point. but i think the ultimate live set, is mixing in organic instruments, with minimal prerecording, putting it all together and seeing where it takes you. just my 2 cents worth as you were gentlemen!
