  1. I've got a marvellous mix of Paraglide, that i'd recommend to every Paraglide's fans : it's the Sheik mix appearing on Cosmic Cubes vol 2. Have you tried the projects of the other half of the band, i mean Thorsten Stenzel, with Nuke or Warriors of Love for example.
  2. I'm sure there's plenty wonderful things more enjoyable in life than my english.
  3. It seems recently or at least i just realize it quite recently, Psynews undergo intensive spams attacks. I don't know anything about those attacks, i maybe naively, think that those behaviours come from people with interests against this site and aren't just free spams for viagra, don't you think?

  6. Reminds me the Green House Effect style, which is a project of Sandman, search this direction mate I would say a remix of End Of the world originally from Sandman, there's a Green House Effect remix which looks like a bit to the end of your tune but doesn't match with the beginning at all, so must be another remix.
  7. it seems Israeli, maybe from Doof rec
  8. Interesting idea BUT there used to be one compilation from Timecode in THIs register and the it didn't encounter its public... Already exists, check The Green Nuns Of The Revolution mate :posford: :clapping: hum not existing yet :wank: ? Nevertheless i'm not specialist in prog ...
  9. Additionnal engineering by Joshud @Jocid studio. The album was mastered by Tim Schuldt @4cn studios Forest Fusion was recorded in single jamsession conferring all its natural energy  Who's Ozmali ? => Few infos about the artist, except he's from Amsterdam & he's really calling Steven Hekkeleheikever. Indeed Ozmali is a multi talented artist : producer, live act, dj & deco artist. His musical style is Forest Psychedelik which means happy, colourfull & psychedelik How about Ozmali Records ? => As a whole complete thing, let's say it's quite normal that Ozmali Records pop up from Ozmali's brain. Forest Fusion , what kind of musical trip ? => Night Travelling, We've got an happy & bouncing tune in guise of opening for the album. There's some soft tones typical for rocking babies (this kinda of "carillon" also appears on track 8. Quite important to notice in the Ozmali's work, it's the important use of many samples: animals, movies, music, cries etc.. Serafijn Dansen Verboden => The bouncy side continues, this time with less melody than previously, the focus is based on the psychedelik soundscape. With some patience you'll get the mischievous melody. XXX => Interesting construction with a little by little evolution to its climax. The colouration is slightly colder & more dedicated for the night time. In terms of emotion, it reminds me something dancefloor, very living, intense & paradox, cold such as "Element - Coldcut", the psychedelik dimension added. Martial Arts => The tones are harsher, sharp here. It's sounding repetitive, indeed too much for me, that's a pity :/ My main worry comes from the sounds, i don't find them particularly entertaining or easy to dig. The samples employed for the transition with next track are really fucking good & funny, i don't spoil more :posford: Helios Rmx =>There are Funny old school music samples used which perfectly matches, integrates the tune, there's a special spirit that reminds me here some quite dancefloor &/or experimental productions from Eat Static (respectively City of Sin & Critical Mass). Dancing with Daemons => The construction is common from Parvati's productions alike which means not very melodic, more based on a selection of sounds with appropriated effects, last but not least, a preponderant role of the bassline all along. Petite Chevre => Ozmali offers a very atmospheric production based on a modified subtle loop of anthem from "Art of Trance - Kaleidoscope", at the end (7"24) Ozmali places also a twisted sample of kinda Beach Boys sound, once again funny. Psiegedelies Kunstenaar => In the weirdo' meter, we're reaching the highest level of the album (especially for the congas break around 4"00), the soundscape is totally twisted, mad & falsely uncontrolled of course . Many samples are used here conferring the tune its thickness. Vaxac Kawak => We keep going with the same bassline as in previous track but up tuned, btw it's the whole song that results faster & punchier. Furthermore the global feeling is completely hypnotic. Kata Rei => For the final, Ozmali has cooked a cinematographic influenced tune due to the massive presence of a long movie's music sample. That's a quite big change in term of musical emotion delivered, this one tends to be more oniric, magical nevertheless he keeps a fat psychedelik output through massive effects on bleeps, sweeps & creeps Sum up => There's an important point, i'd like to mention here: the order of the track listing. I advice to listen in the predefined order of the album due to a very slight mix between end & beginning of tracks. As a matter of optimized enjoyment, respecting this frame will increase your perception for the first listens. Of course after, free & up to everybody to choose & listen the tracks in any free order . I made a quote-reference from a "retired" psy artist from the scene in my last description , that's not fortuitous : I consider Ozmali as a respectful successor of Weirdo Beardo, the style is not exactly the same but i've got the same nice & positive feelings while listening to their happy psychedelik & quite melodic colourful productions . I just wish Ozmali to release some other inspired albums, as this debut is refreshing enough to hit the scene & make a name decently rated. 10. i'm wondering if you get a small token fee or some goodies for this interview as it's claimed in this pinned Isratrance post =>http://forum.isratrance.com/join-isratrance-review-team/ coz they pretend to build a 'profesionnal' reviewer & interviewer team instead of "the most magazines and websites only post short reviews that are dependent on advertising and don't have real value" or indeed what is proposed on the Isratrance site is exactly that : small review formatted by people that wrote small leeching text for a small token fee provided i guess by the advertising done on Isratrance through banners by the the same labels reviewed or interviewed , am i wrong?
  11. for sure but i don't understand, i used the search engine no results were displayed , but was convinced i posted it already by the past here, i even searched for it manually & didn't find it so?

    Jess M - Digidelica

First of all, i would like to say this album was released in 2002 & not 2003 => http://www.discogs.com/Jess-M-Digidelica/release/87987 SST was very courageous to release such an album focused mainly on Didgeridoo & i'd like to thanks thern just for that . Didgeridoo has his charms, secrets and inconvenients. This instrument can be at time catchy, hypnotizing, bewitching and other times monotone or boring. Indeed, all depend how it is used : mainly solo or in a more global construct harmony with others different elements. For tracks 1,3,5,10 which are only digeridoo, it's sure that's more difficult to listen except probably for didgeridoo's full lovers. When instruments are added like in track 2(flute), 4(voices ,percus),6(guitar, singer 60's or 70's psyspirit), 7(synths), 8 (harp ?), 9(voices, samples billow & more instruments),11(bass,guitar,percus), it becomes easier and enjoyable to hear. My favourites are Hednisphere, Cloud Stalker, Wild Islands(not ambient indeed). In a second order : Coitus,Tarn. Mark :7/10
  13. I've checked with the search button, no result displayed, so if the thread already exists sorry Tracklist : 1. Slice Of Pizza 2. So Many Tables 3. Practical Joke 4. ….So Below 5. Space Attack ! ! ! 6. Missing Link 7. Tail Of Huldra 8. Nanocosmos Total running time: 72:54 Trold – Once Upon A Time is the 1st album released on Apoxina. Trold are 3 guys from Norway : Bjorn Opheim, Stein Skojdal & Leif Askeland. This album was mastered by the well known Tim Schuldt (4Carry Nuts). Slice Of Pizza is like a long , deep & solitary walk through an unknown Norwegian forest, by this way you progressively explore the soundscape of Trold composed of psychedelic melodies. The atmosphere could be perceived as oppressing, wet & cold at first Yes, the edge of this Norwegian forest isn't very welcoming … However, be courageous and let's try to go deeper inside the wood. Things don't seem to turn out all right, light becomes weaker and wasn't already very powerful ! Scrutinizing more carefully all around in order to discover some reassuring signs, you'll only notice more & more strange phenomenons. Between 3'35 to 4'50, you hear unexplainable sounds, branches break themselves alone or invisible horses galloping. After 4'50, you're now confront with illusions of view, suddenly myriad of luciols coming from the sky light the forest like if they would like to indicate you the good way to follow, helped by some little balls of fire appearing when you're taking a wrong direction. You feel appeased from the situation but start to get tired after hours of walk, your feet are so heavy now. That's when, at 7'05, an internal voice tells you 'There are persons who are asleep & who had to wake up'. An encouragement probably you think, the core of the hood mustn't be very far from now… Without premises, your heartbeat sharply decrease. It's done! You've reached it (So Many Tables), you're looking with your sparling eyes at the hidden part of the magical Norwegian forest. It's a great & confused feeling between your heart & mind, your heart is now palpitating. All over, several little different creatures are dancing, drinking or laughing like gnomes, elfs, trolls, fairies and some else. Even if by moment (around 5'15), a glacial wind reminds you're probably lost somewhere in the middle of a huge area, you don't know why but you keep smiling & happy. A short instant (from 6:30 to 7'07), all people around you little by little stop their activities, you'll understand a bit later they were praying the spirit of the forest to thanks him for this rave as you meet the white hair & beard giant of the hood which is his reincarnation. It seems that you're participating to an infinite party, unfortunately suddenly (8'50) an acid rain starts which irremediably means that the party is over. In order to protect you from the acid rain, a troll smoking a pipe invites you with a wave of the hand to climb on an immense tree (over 50 meters) where he has built his hut (Practical Joke). At first the ascension is quite arduous seeing that the trunk is sleek therefore slippery (from 0'00 to 0'18). Taking a rapid rhythm in your scaling due to the presence of pic-vert giving you the good tempo ( starting at 0'56), you won't take too much time to achieve the gnome's den. (2'02-2'16) You make your first steps on a woody cracking floor. After being sheltered, the troll becomes very talkative but not always understandable (2'32 & 3'30). Sometimes it's cracking so strong that you've got the impress the roof will fall on your head (3'24). The troll is facetious and doesn't stop flooding you ears of words which totally hypnotise your brain. You remain in a half conscious state, dreaming awake up to 7'30 when the troll succeeds after several attempts to wake you up with a 'hello-hello… you understand ?' After a quite long back to normal brain activity while you were having a meal, then (8'55 to 10'04) you immediately recognize this cracking wood, your eyes are heavy. You're entering the bed offered by the troll with the last perception of a glacial wind blowing all over the forest just before being ready to drop. Some birds sing to wish you a good day (…So Below). After some discussion with the troll, you've got the firm intention to explore this mysterious underground civilization of the forest he described you. You come down from the tree after having said good bye to the troll & thanked him for his hospitality. Remembering the troll indications, you follow the snails up to 2 huge fly agaric where 2 women all dressed of white stand. At 4'08, those 2 women magically proceed to a mutation into a pair of worms. They now hollow a gallery lo let you penetrate so below… The 2 worms are very active & energic but never stop their effort ; strangely the tunnel they 're building is very winding, you just learn that straight doesn't exist in worms vocabulary. More & more you go below and more numerous the worms get in order to draw you the way. (5'57) There are so much worms now that they got to rub each other for advance which causes metallic twisted shrill melody. You've not arrived yet to the mysterious underground civilization that already you're hearing guardian saying 'Just a minute ladys & gentleman, i think something is happening'(Space Attack ! ! !), this got the property of make the worms escaping the place. But the alert is given , immediately this is an ant invasion running toward you. They all take the direction of your eardrums (from 0'40 upto5'50). 5'50 to 6'50, the ants have put a special acid onto your eardrums so effective that you feel giddy. The ants are now happy you're now under their control. (Missing Link) During their power time, the ants make you travel to a place swarming with little human beings at red eyes covered of black fur having a gloomy & melancholic party. ' positive state of mind' they claim (0'50). The music is cycling up and the melody could emanate from a mutant accordion. (Tail Of Huldra) Decided to see all part of this hood, you walk to the north when you meet Huldra , the nude queen of the area. You make a quite long way together. she tries to bewitch you & make you remaining here for the rest of your life. But Huldra is fair play and always let go away someone without aggressive behaviour, by the way she shows you the way where you'll can drink water like you asked her. Discovering 'Nanocosmos' the northern part of this Norwegian forest near from a river, this zone also includes the dragoon's & unicorn 's den, you're starting to feel how calm are the natural elements, you get frequenter with them. But there's still something you can't explain yourself however beautiful, deep, twisted, tripping or morning like in Nanocosmos was the sound, as you just see you're simply sitting in front of your cd player within Trold – Once Upon A Time…Was all this just an illusion, who knows… Favourites : 2,8,1,5 Then :3,6,4 7,5/10
  14. I remember when Anoebis made the version of this musical tree , notice some evolutions, corrections too. I just surprise about Space Tribe being in dark psychedelic with Absolum, ok for this last one, but Space Tribe, is not that much dark in Heart Beat, furthermore it's the only ST's album, i've got that's why i comment on this Except this little point, i just think it would be nice to make some update with some fresher release date for the newbies as we'rre in 2009 and the most recent quotes are from 2006 if i'm not mistaken
  15. Amazing Album ! :posford: :clapping:
  16. I don't know but i can garantee you 100% it's not Gms , not their style at all...
  17. Noisy Pipes - Out of Sync with this World (Sonic Motion rec CD 04/2009) Tracklisting : 1 - Crawling, Seeking 2 - No Transpose 3 - I So Late 4 - How To Quiet Noisy Pipes 5 - Cheers For Fears (featuring Triskell) 6 - Dead Orchid 7 - Maybe The Exit 8 - Out Of Sync With This World 9 - Heartbeat And Footsteps (All That's Left Now) 10 - Decay 11 - Orage Written & Produced by: Nicolas Zappa Mastering by: Charles - Tryptich @ Preference Mastering Artwork by: Romain Mistretta About Sonic Motion records => It's a french label founded by Dj Atyss (Greg), a quite long involved Dj in the French Psytrance scene since 1995. He's well known for his Tag mix collaboration in numerous parties with Patrick Rognant (from famous broadcast "Rave Up" on radio FG). About Noisy Pipes => Like his label manager, Noisy Pipes is French & has a special connexion with the radio as he spent some years promoting the psytrance music via mixes with 'Trance Vallée Express' on a FM Radio from the capital Paris. The Noisy Pipes sounds enters the Dark category, stating the point the French dark productions are generally mentally over the standard ; it would range Noisy Pipes as an alter ego of Artifakt with a larger musical spectre (ambient-dancefloor-experimental) & influences (indus-ebm) or perhaps R.A.M in a darker way nonetheless. Musically speaking what does it give ? => Crawling, Seeking opens the cd with an evident EBM influence in a mid-tempo & freestyle mode. The fat electric guitar, kindly noisy, saturated, reminds me a bit of Tim Schuldt's style. This opening, at the image of the album is quite eclectic in his influences & construction, especially with the classical touch with the piano which confers a cinematographic feeling, Thriller one to be precise. No Transpose penetrates the dancefloor area, here the trademark is focused on the Apocalyptic feeling with a noticeable rhythmic all along & which from 2"37 is a tribute to R.A.M ( Scorb + NRS) the track Hash Brown on their album Efficient Chips, this statement doesn't surprise me much as, if i'm not wrong, Noisy Pipes is fond of NRS. Come-back to this tune, after 6"00, we're reaching the final climax, getting more tense, anxious, aggressive & with metallic & highly sharpy tones which will make your flesh creep. I So Late proves for those who wouldn't be yet convinced by the South African psytrance influences of Noisy Pipes. There's here 2 typical Timecode's leads for me which one i called the famous "Barking Lead" in a modified way & the "Shrill lead". In this track through its dynamic, very punchy & nervous, & at the same time syncopated reinforced by the baseline especially at the beginning around 1"30, gives me a reminiscence of Computer Breath from Sun Project in a certain way. How To Quiet Noisy Pipes has for main trick a kinda heavy siren for lead coupled with a smashier rhythmic than he delivers usually, same for the tempo, this one is also the fastest of the album, obviously the most dancefloor dedicated. Cheers For Fears sounds less pleasant to my ears, the chosen tones are extremely noisy, indus & i have to admit, it's more complicated for me to bare them unfortunately (furthermore i find it more chaotic & less construct), the extreme sounds lovers will enjoy it for sure. Dead Orchid is funny because of the bicycle's ring used as rhythmic. After the break (4"30), the tune gets to another dimension resulting more pumping, less harsh & the lead is purring. Maybe i've got a little frustration here with a false final which collapse instead of bursting... Maybe The Exit, is a new downtempo break, less dark but not that much colourful by the way with a strong Hippy feeling, very floating focused on guitar. Eponymous track of the album, Out Of Sync With This World, offers a new freestyle production, mid-tempo, very interesting & complicated in its structure without doubt the most experimental of the album. You like when it's unpolished? Perfect this is for you, so ! Heartbeat And Footsteps (All That's Left Now) is dark Indus-Breakbeat (midtempo) mainly with trembling shy ghost lead around 2"00, that's a funny contrast indeed . There's also highly sharply telegraph tones which will destroy immediately your few neurons alive . Decay, is another dark midtempo experimental jewel with more classical influences (Drums, piano & violin) , more exactly it's an orchestral feeling like those you can encountered via some Juno Reactor's production in the Labyrinth album. Orage such as Decay, ranges in this Orchestral compartment. The overwhelming rain sample from the orage is funny, it seems to be a Natural clap in an ecologic trick as conclusion of this album . Swift Sum up => This album isn't a full experimental dark one, it's not a full darkpsy one, it's not a full Indus-EBM one, it's not a full dark ambient one either; Out Of Sync With This World is a mix of all this, if you were thinking, like me, that the darkpsy scene was getting immature, unproductive from the ideas view, it's the solution to demonstrate you there's still some true artistic potential in this scene. Let just wish Noisy Pipes the success he deserves with his début album. 18. Apparently a new album is even scheduled to be released for Union Jack :clapping: :posford: same for ART Of TRANCE:RETROSPECTIVE CD is already announced, on myspace it's said that it's a 3cd best of with the 2 albums plus a mixed cd.
  19. The funniest is that the guy who created the topic is without doubt the new promotional trainee at Chemical crew :posford: :clapping:
  20. My turn :clapping: , what happened to: - Noma, Swedish morning pro artist with a deep emotional touch - P-Woland, Swedish not sure for him, who made an tribal prog anthem with Slap My! on Digital Structures, an album was scheduled there also but never came out of the pipe...
  21. Soul Kontakt are from Malta that's true, so sure he does too :posford:
  22. ok i see Murphythecat seems to be sort of a top notch members by here
  23. I understand your view Mars, but you know most of people don't have the time, the courage, the energy & sometimes think they aren't talentuous enough to make such a thing. edit:btw i catch why you get a bit upset reading this same guy in another post about the same group saying "it's bad no review here for this group", & creating another topic again for Kettel just saying the album is good instead of trying to write himself the review
  24. I remember having some worries with him too, i never saw him but it was by email & later on by feedback with other artists frequenting him reporting me that he was speaking on my back. In a similar case & more awful, i know that Holeg a french artist i think, that i never met or even talked about in any of my numerous reviews was bullshiting too on my back to many french people, probably due to some worries i encountered with a label , i learnt later on, this one wasn't happy of my harsh comment on one of their top name artist but they never told me at the time. It seems Holeg was quite close to this top act. When a french guy told me that all the awful rumours he got on me were coming from Holeg, i was very circumspect as i explained before , i never contact him, seen him or talked about him. The last one, if i don't confund is Triskell, same thing, wasn't happy about some of my comments on his work through several reviews i made (it was compilations he was released on), was even insinuating by emails he sent me that i was knowing him personally & wanted to make him problems with signing a label for an album. That's was incredibly lame as i never met him, furthermore he invented some stories by email for trying to get my phone number from me & prove people that he was saying something true about that we know each other & i was trying to make a vengeance on him... He even succeeded in getting a head label where he has been released to get back to me, to speak about that with me by email to check the thing. I was shocked! I just want to finish saying there's generally more sympathetic artists than awful ones, & i also had opportunity to chat with many of them through internet.
