Music Promotion is a sub-forum for all the music producers and djs (professionals or amateurs, signed or unsigned) that would like to promote themselves and get some feedback on their work. Please feel free to post here links to your DJ mixes, links to tracks that you produced, links to your radio stream shows, and any other musical products that you have created and would like to promote. Please take into consideration that this space was not made available for music exchanging and we do not encourage pirating. This is a forum after all, forums are supposed to encourage communication. You can promote other people's musical work, but make sure you point out whose work it is! Please do not promote other people's work as being yours! Please do not post here if you are a signed artist or representing a label and you wish to announce your new release or news about you! Use the "Artist News and Labels announcements" section for that. To make things even more simple: Do not post commercial, buy/pay to hear promotions. This subforum is meant for FREE listening and for FREE promotion. Not for monetary releases. Use the "Artist News and Labels announcements" for those. A general rule that will be enforced from now on is DO NOT POST NON PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE CULTURE RELATED THINGS. And to make things clear, genre crossovers are considered a part of the psychedelic trance culture. Like Psybient, psychill, psy-prog etc. For example of what not to post: Normal trance does not have anything to do with the genre. Same goes for most of other electronic genres. This forum is dedicated for the psychedelic trance culture, nothing else. Discussion about other electronic genres can be had on the dedicated sections of this forum but no advertising, promotion what-so-ever. If we see this rule being ignored the thread will be removed and the author dealt with (ban/suspension depending on the situation), no questions asked. This is the first and last warning. Contact a staff member here if you are not sure. If the music comes from an artist that has been a part of the psychedelic trance culture lenience will occur. Same applies for long/short time members who know what they are doing, but not for labels, advertisers and promoters, ever. This section is not for: Reviews - Use the dedicated sub-forum for it. Party/event promotion - Use the dedicated sub-forum for it. Artist News and Labels announcements - Use the dedicated sub-forum for it.

Probably because "before the break I had released some tracks under my other project names: "Cosmic Silence, Amaravati and Phoetonix"" lol Nice tracks but the sound does remind me of cosmic silence so I don't really see why different artist name.

Classic tracks for the official free download

You are actually going as far as contacting artist for this? That is pretty damn cool. Most old artist don't even probably remember they used to make music, nor do they probably care whatever happened to it lol. -
Dimension 5 - Second phaze, I actually feel like you travel with it more than on Trandimensional. I get lost in it easier, somehow. Dimension 5 - Transdimensional Pigs In Space - Pigs In Space Etnica - Alien Protein Ubar Tmar - Eigou Kaiki Juno Reactor - Bible Of Dreams Juno Reactor - Shango From the top of my head, only trying to think of uptempo-midtempo since downtempo/ambient is so easy. Shango I would say is mid-tempo. A term I do not know if exists. I need to listen that again, last time I almost fell asleep. Maybe bad timing.. What is it with you and the KILRLARHAHGRHgRGHEGHRGHSRGRHGWHEFEH eskimo?

Pandanandi - Psychic Mothers (Rough Mix)
Penzoline replied to Jason Pandanandi's topic in Free Music Promotion
Not bad, not bad at all. I liked it but it felt unfinished. You have good ideas and the basics, like effects, are there but there's room for improvement. I can clearly see what you are going for thou. That's the most technical I can say since I'm not a producer but keep at it. -
Amazing release. As T2MU said it is indeed more psytrancy, but bear in mind this is a 1997 release, so expect tons of creativity. The groove and rhythm, in a more of a hypnotic sense, and layering are impeccable. There are tracks that focus on these aspects completely such as Rooster, Caracol and Funkadelic, but there are others that also focus on a dense atmosphere. I think the biggest track from there is Nazca Spider. The atmosphere is oozing with dark tribal atmosphere and segments of drama. The production on this album feels genuinely unique and one of the first of its kind with reminding this is from 1997 - I know it has gotten inspirations from other sources but the sound remains completely unique. Lots of electronic beeping, higher pitched acid, organic tribal sounds, groovy rhythmic basslines. This is a fantastic album from the 90's, but, due the things listed, I feel like a little unappreciated. It is not melody heavy like most, but what it lacks in melody it gives in all else. Just listen to Rooster - the ever-growing groove is frighteningly good. The way it builds and progresses up to the final climax is amazing, and trust me, that climax will destroy the dancefloor. The rooster sounds should be cheesy but aren't because of the way they are incorporated into the groove. I'm listening to the remastered version and it sounds absolutely superb, and it comes with an additional track so don't hesitate to get it. The original has a nicer back cover, including the mayan calendar and space background - whlist the new version just has the calendar in a smaller form and the tracklist - but who cares when everything else is better. This is one of the rare times I really can say I rather have the new version over the old one. Thanks to Avatar for that. p.s. I'm moving the 2005 remaster thread in general psytrance. If someone bothers they can write a full review in 2005 section about the remastered version. The first thread wasn't a review thread at all.

You have this problem generally as well? I thought I was alone..

2010's "Movements". Period. This release is absolutely incredible. Every track is pure quality. I very much agree with T2MU's words here and Cocco's ratings are spot-on. I must mention Halley Road completely awe-struck me. Vintage space ambient. Just breathtaking.

I was gonna hold till 3 new releases but since I wanted a shirt I pre-ordered it anyway with one.

I wish more would include a shirt. That would be so nice.

FAHRENHEIT PROJECT part 7

Ultimae can do no wrong.. -
I remember hearing they spend tons of money on the shpongle live shows and they do actually need the money to keep making them. I agree the mask is overpriced since it's so small but it's cool nonetheless.

Expensive new clothes and now I'm broke

190bpm rofl! -
Ahh I'm just kidding. Without dem belgians the goatrance movement would be miniscule.
-
^ You made me do it! Damn it! I ordered these from the twisted shop. I actually feel like the shpongle single is one the best things they ever did with that project.

LFO - Freak for good measure. A damn fine IDM track! Looks interesting.

We are riding the same boat it seems. Death to belgians! Welcome!

Great thread! I was thinking of making myself this but I guess I forgot. Definitely would bee cool if the first post would be updated with what people post, I could occasionally help too since I can edit posts. What do you think deepcode? uvAntam.com aka ubar tmar has loads available for download at -
What is his artist name?

Oh, I'm checking out Liquid Flows soundcloud and Purple Morning is really great! Astral Projection type melodies! United Universe too! Really different from the debut album to be honest. Presence was ok but didn't stand out at all because of the repetitious sound. Not enough happened through the tracks but these are saved by the super melodies.

What music are you listening to right now?
Penzoline replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
K.O.B. - Weight Of Oblivion No, it's the old(est) koxbox. http://www.discogs.com/Koxbox-Forever-After/master/20488 -
Antares - Exodus Suntrip Records 2011 1. The Exodus 9:19 2. Mysticism 7:59 3. Aurum Solis 10:41 4. The 4th Dimension 8:39 5. Dreaming Universe 9:14 6. Mount Meru 10:39 7. Astral Plane 9:30 8. Sun Sanctuary 8:36 Well first off I wasn't expecting much to be frank. The Antares track on V/A - Sundrops was something else, a really super track but a lot of things after that felt kind of typical, you know, blargh morning sunshine goa. So album was kind of announced and samples listened, didn't seem that special, still. Then came the time when I got it and listened to it. Sunshine! I'll just start by saying the artwork on this album is just super, the cover is disappointing but everything inside, spines, back, just amazing! On a whole other level, really appropriate for this album too with the organic patterns. Check out the backcover for instance. Suntrip always makes shelves with CD collections look damn good and colourful and no exceptions here! Now on to the music, I expressed this in the Erta Alé review, that the goa in this scene is, mostly, just fluff and sunshine and that is exactly what this album is. This not yet taking much from the album for me, personally, but the limit may come across in the near-future. The rough needs to start filling the fluff! There is one track that sounds more like Daimon, the darker antares project, which is the 3rd one, Aurumn Solis, and then there's the 4th one, The 4th Dimension, too which is kind of half Daimon. Both of them have the nicest growling acid deep drilling throughout and they feel much less floating albeit they still float, but that's about it for the "darkness". This album is absolutely great at what it wants and tries to be, though. That fluff floating sunshine goa. It is very driving often and the sounds are near-perfect. The production on this album absolutely outstanding. Floating goa has never sounded this precise, so to say. All the organic elements, really diluted basslines, meaning the force has been toned quite a bit for that ethereal atmosphere and driving, really wet floating acid that is everywhere and bright sunshiiiiine melodies. Especially outside in the sun many of the tracks are oh so near-perfection with their atmosphere and driving tempo. Exodus, Mysticism and Mount Meru are pure bliss at that. The others are good, really solid thought-out journeys, as well. The only bad track here is Dreaming Universe. It is well made production-wise, but damn is it stoic and boring. It has good elements but it's just too much fluffy fluffness whilst nothing happens. I listen to it for a minute and that's enough to bore me to tears. Then the weird track is Astral Plane where the melody seems far more trancy than goay but surprisingly it came off well, really a special track because of the emotion the trancy melody evokes. Actually I would have wanted another track to experiment with it, this is why Aurora on Sundrops was great as well since the main climax melody seemed more trancy. All in all I actually wanted to be more critical with the fluff-factor but damn I can't, this super well produced no matter what. A really good album, perfect for the sunshine summer but not as great for more colder seasons. This album kind of feels like a sequel to VA - Sundrops with it's pure morning concept but it lacks variance obviously since Sundrops had multiple artist. Still, it is kind of a spiritual successor, I'd say. Go buy it now if you enjoy sunshiney goatrance! If you don't, well, I'd preview first to see if it's worth it. It might be a bit much of that floating sound for some but not enough for me yet. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for anything that is Goa.. nah, I don't like Ajna. Sorry, but that's where the fluff kills me. Just a random note. To leave this mini-review on a more brighter one... "I'm walking on sunshine, oh oh! And don't it feel good!" Where to get it and samples? http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/sut/sut1cd021.html http://www.beatspace.com/dettagli/dettaglio.aspx?id=6100 http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=8702 http://www.suntriprecords.com/shop/item/SUNCD21/ p.s. Ka-sol was a brilliant release.
