  1. Well if it isn't my friend from Belgium My god you must really dislike me, to post such remark in a thread like this? They both died way to soon & in exactly the same way: a motorcycle accident in Goa. To put it in your own words, maybe you aren't "smart" enough to post about things you know nothing about?
  2. Cosma pt II May he rest in peace...
  3. Don't know where you got it in your mind that I suggested that Moni cheated? You DID understand me because in your last paragraph you just said everything I meant with my remark... Let's not get touchy ppl!
  4. Very well done indeed! But with 2 Suntrip releases in top 5, can you really call it objective & representative ?
  5. 6. @ work : a nice really old (1992) Detroit Techno-compilation at really low volume Various - Panic In Detroit http://www.discogs.com/release/49871
  7. I've got it Good cd! Typical German psytrance, somewhere in between psy & prog, although more prog than psy. Still no lack of melodies though! Great music, but sometimes pretty stupid samples that seem to be taken from cartoon or something & don't always add something to the atmosphere. I don't own "No Way to leave" but some say it's way than his debut.
  8. Traded an old Sonic Youth cd (Evol) for Cosma's "Simplicity" http://www.discogs.com/release/66776 Good deal imho!
  9. I thought it was one of the cooler ones I've ever seen & the music is just pounding German quality. The vocal-samples definitely add a clubby vibe, but who said that's a bad thing? Neelix is a real cool guy btw, no star-attitude what so ever: he's a real party-animal & always dancing in front of the speakers when he likes the dj...

I tried to do that too! Didn't work either, how did you link you 2 photoshop-creations?
  11. You lucky bitch! When is the show? We might come over for this one...
  12. Best live act I ever saw (about 3 times now) Son Kite! Looks like this: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/11389825/ Seen Atmos a coupple of times too & that was so emotional I got tears in my eyes. Fantastic music to end a festival-day. Never saw Juno but I agree with you on the Antix remark. In my opion the Storm Brothers are just highly talented studio-freaks, who spilt up to do the lives to cash in while they can by playing little more than their last album. Saw them/him on Tshitraka AND Waldfrieden & they didn't play 1 track from Lull! Didn't even look like he was having a good time neither. Though their music might sound a bit dated, SUN-project still kicks many younger bands ass live. Their great guitar-player(s) & especially their live drummer are so energetic you can't stand still. I try to make a distinction between good music & a good preformance. I saw Neelix in Germany before he released his current album & he played nearly strictly unreleased stuff. Son Kite played "On Air" at Samothraki 2003 like a year before it was released. General remark: véry little live acts play live. This a picture of Hallucinogen Live that I took myself in 2004. He demanded by contract to have the red synth set-up yet he didn't touch even once!! http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/displ...lbum=185&pos=10 Same goes for this HUGE mixer he requested of which he only used a coupple of channels: http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/displ...album=185&pos=2 Infected did a live preformance in Belgium with guitars that weren't even plugged in!! (no wireless connection neither) But it makes sense too: music like Astral Projection is just way too complex to actually produce "on stage". I do, however expect something more than just the album tracks in a different order, like at least some unreleased tracks or live-mixes. In my book a live-act means: you touch/play/hit or do something that makes a sound. Like Etnoscope with their live percussion... My 2.5 cents!!
  13. Hey man, don't worry, I remember when I went on my first festival-vacation I brought like a ton of stuff I thought I needed but that I didn't even got out of mybackpack in the end Have a blast & try to make in to Belgium too. You know "Bel-gi-um", that small country next to Amsterdam
  14. I don't understand why you keep making such a big f*cking deal about that tent man? I mean: after the festival catch a plane/bus/train/car to Amsterdam; get a room & drop your tent (& backpack!) of there. Or were you planning on carrying all you luggage wiht you everywhere you go for several days ?
  15. Teleport is quite possibly one of my all time favourite tracks. I get goosebumps when I hear the intro & I'll never éver forget how it made the dance floor explode @ Samothraki. But the GMS-stripped-mix is a pretty poor attempt in my book...
  16. I gave up on the whole Progressive Vs Melodic internet-fights around 2002. I'm sure Anoebis will still remember those days too good oold goabase.de It's ALL psy-music IMO, to each their own!

All I ever use in Apophysis for the fractals & Photoshop for all the rest. I'm not sure what "effect in the background" you mean, but I always like to put some fractals or geometric patterns in other designs. @ Rik: Thnx for the compliment, this means a lot coming from you... You're still thé master though Good tip for the outline of the text, I'll keep that in mind for next time, cause these babies were already printed yesterday. Also glad to see you couldn't put'em in the thread neither

All feedback is appreciated! As I said, the main goal is that the ppl who ask me to do it are 100% happy with it... & I'm no musician but I review cd's too, so don't let that hold you back
  20. C O D = Cash On Delivery or "Rembours" This means you pay when you colelct your parcel, of course more expensive then paying up-front but safer too...
  21. @ everyone: guys if you haven't organised your flights yet, do yourself a favour & get of your asses Nearly all flights from Belgium at the end of March are full & ppl now are obliged to leave from other countries allready... C U there!

OK, I'll go first then Just finished a flyer for a friends party in April. Most of the graphic's come from the web-site of the Deco-artists they hired to decorate the venue: Maxi Hellweger. You might have seen his work on the 2003 & 2004 VooV-festival. He gave explicit permission to use these images as he considdered it good promotion for his art. It still was a shitty job, cause you can't download it from his web site, so I had to use screenshots. I integrated some more layers to spice up the psy-factor & created the borders as was requested. I choose the font on the frontside to give it an "invitation-look" & the organiser gave me a list of font's he wanted to be used on the back-side. I chose the one that I liked most but I would have used better ones myself. This was a nice challenge for me, most of the time I just make something I like myself but this was more an assignment. Check the links to deviantart for more details or feed-back I tried linking the picture from Deviantart or Psychedelic.be but apparently only gif's are accepted? no jpeg? http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/28439153/ http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/28439243/
  23. More proof of Gaetan's (= Vortex/Lepton) blackness http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/displ...lbum=171&pos=47 http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/displ...album=90&pos=15 We took both pix & trust me, I'm not thàt good at Photoshop "Say it loud: I'm black & I'm proud!"
  24. I've been collecting music for many years aswell, though not just psy-stuff. Not having a lot of spare money I've been a sucker for secondhand cd's. Sometimes I've bought stuff I hardly new just because it was cheap. I admit it, I was wrong One thing I always keep in mind is RARE =/= GOOD. I can understand it's a different matter for hardcore collectors, but I'd never buy something I didn't like JUST because it's rare. Some part of me has to be convinced it's gonna be at least kinda g00d...
  25. I agree with seraph: covers like that make me whish I had turntables Tracklist looks impressive too! What is Dubsahara like?
