  1. If your band only made 3 albums so far, would you put anything on there without knowing where it came from?
  2. Hà, I love Tegma, but in my book that's "a load of b*llsh*t" They probably don't want to admit in writing where they got it from so that they won't get hassled for royalties. Like the zillion of ppl sampling sentences from "Waking Life": FREq, Gaudium, Pixel,... "it ain't a crime if you don't get caught"
  3. And THIS was how it looked last year...
  4. Damn, I'd like to hear this one day !!!!
  5. Does Wasserman have a full album out somewhere? I LOVED their track "W.I.R." (especially Sven Vath's version)
  6. in the last sentence it says that "Thàt music seemed unreal in a place like this"
  7. This should fit your description (in the other thread) like a glove. The opening track is an absolute KILLER! I'm pretty surprised you don't have this one yet?
  8. Check out one of these: Ryker's Right Direction Neurosis ... They're exactly what you're looking for too bad they don't like electronica
  9. Don't know the sample by heart, but could be from infamous sampled-movies like "La Haine" or "Clubbed to Death" ?
  10. Nice work, Florian! Cool to see a professional at work...
  11. No man He's not playing in Belgium, the festival is in Germany, but now it's not 100% sure we're going there. Probably gonna see Mapusa Mapusa at Klang der Essenzen... Atmos only played in Belgium once or twice, but that's both >5yrs ago I think...
  12. Get your hands on the Haldolium RMX of "The Only Process" it's one the few cases where a RMX is even better than the original. "Catch from Scratch" is also pretty different from the rest & can be found on the Spiral Trax-compilation from last year. The Echolab-album has some cool chillout/downtempo tracks too, so get it if you can, but it took me quite a while to get my hands on it. He only made that 1 album for Flying Rhino, but there are several exclusive tracks of his on mix & compilation albums on that label. When GSH reads this he'll probably bring up the first Atmos 12" " The rebirth of Cavanough" but I've never heard that one myself. He will be releasing a new album ("Royale") & also a RMX album ("Deluxe") this year on Spiral Trax. If all goes well, I'll be checking my first Atmos-dj set this weekend in Germany, but only if the wheather allows openair-partying
  13. Good question here... I first heard psy-music at a Goatrance-party in 1998, so I guess it was a cd. The first stuff I had myself was on mp3: Astral & X-dream. First cd was this one in 1999: http://www.discogs.com/release/208935
  14. Maybe a "10 years after-RMX" of Land of Freedom? I played that one out loud this mornign just to be able to wake up
  15. If you're one of the people who wasn't there but would like to see what it could be like this year, just check-out this link
  16. Thnx for the positive feedback guys! I made this because I was feeling sorry for myself 'cause I won't be there this year, but at least I still have Sonica, VooV & Waldfrieden Wonderland to look forward to Cool interpretation Moni, nice to see different ppl. get different stuff from it... btw: my "state of mind" at Boom could probably be best described as "altered" To be continued.
  17. So, once again I had some spare time to kill in front of my Photoshop I was going through some of our pictures of Boom 2004 & I wanted to make something that reflected my state of mind during the festival. See if you can read my mind Overhere: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33840280/ Just doubbleclick on the image & save the big version on your computer. Like it?
  18. Well I didn't understand that either, you'd have to ask Mars about it especially since they knew damnwell that Yannis doesn't really like to play his older stuff (can't blame the guy either)... Still, Feuerhake is one of the more original (progressive ) artists around & I'm glad even you seem to like him Be sure to check one of his dj-set with the violin-player, should you get the chance.
  19. OMFG, just accept the fact that you're WRONG here Or are you suggesting that RTP, Seraph & me don't have a clue what we're talking about ? Judging by the last Suntrip-party (Jaia!) , even Anoebis has given up his "Cruisade Against Progressive", maybe you too should accept the fact that we're living in 2006 & not 1996?

  21. Well, I guess your mother's name was Lisa Mary Presley then ?!? Feuerhake = Progressive. check this compilation: Various - Mushroom Trance Vol. 4 Tracklisting: 1.01 Cass & Slide Opera (Excession Mix) (11:09) Remix - Excession 1.02 Doof Last Half Of Forever (8:41) 1.03 S>Range Boom (9:41) 1.04 Necton Beverly Hills Cop (8:00) 1.05 Ticon Gurk Burk (10:53) 1.06 Tarsis Twilight Zone (7:25) 1.07 Bill & Seb Into The Light (9:14) 1.08 Blue Planet Corporation Blue Pill (7:44) 2.01 Atmos Random Landlord (8:21) 2.02 Zorba Mr. Nice Guy (7:33) 2.03 Nucleus (4) Hovercraft (Purple & Steve Ronan System Remix) (7:04) Remix - Purple & Ronan 2.04 Mumbo Jumbo Fishbone (Remix) (7:44) 2.05 Friskoboy Landslide (9:06) 2.06 El Audio Keyboard Cowboys (Remix) (9:04) 2.07 Block 4 ? (8:13) 2.08 S>Range Darwin Project (8:05) 2.09 Feuerhake Gammelsvensk (8:42) Maybe you should realize that progressive is more than Minimal from the year 2000 ? If you like it, what do you care what's it called? Admitting you like some progressive won't make you any less of a " real trancehead", you know ?
  22. Sisters of Mercy Life of Agony Nine Inch Nails Tricky Horace Andy Gangstarr, Jazzmatazz & Guru in genral. Wu-tang Anthony Rother.
  23. I'd say one of these: Gaudium - Nordic Nature: http://www.discogs.com/release/490914 Ooze - Where The Fields Never End http://www.discogs.com/release/31741 Various - Prooved Vol. 2 http://www.discogs.com/release/449442 & for a very long time it used to be: Element - Full Moon http://www.discogs.com/release/51739 It's a difficult question because I try to listen to something different from my collection everyday. I'm listening to a Belgian lounge-cd at this very moment, yesterday I was in the mood for techno & d'n'b & last week Sisters of Mercy were on heavy rotation because I went to a see them live. What the hell, maybe I just have too many good cd's
  24. As some of you know, we went to the Soulclipse festival. ( Proof of that here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/31674932/ ) On the day of the eclipse I met a young Turkish girl HIGH on mushrooms. She was dressed like a Princess & she welcomed us into her kingdom, to celebrate together with people from allover the world who had been invited to her castle. She was also very fascinated by my tattoos & we had a chat about what kind of tattoo she would get & some more festival-fun for about 20min's max. Afterwards we each went our ways & never met again. 2 weeks ago, a new person adds me on msn & it turns out to be that girl. Don't ask me how she found me, because I'm sure I didn't give her my e-mail. She said she drew a portrait of me from her memory & she wanted me to have it. In a weird way, it's kind of a compliment that somebody would go through all that trouble just to give you a drawing of yourself, no? Much to my surprise it was actually rather welldone & pretty realistic! Check it out for yourself : http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33335157/
