how can u hate fullon and think this is great??? this is average at best... a little better than the usual fullon, but nothing to get really excited about imo... and yes the concept is pretty bad...

profane there is some truth to that... but maybe psyshop massively promotes the albums of those labels that embelish every release like it's the best ever when in reality it's just another fullon copy... anyway like i said i never bought anything from them, and never will...

lol @ cinos... i totally agree with u man.. psyshop keeps promoting the boring full-on stuff... they cannot be trusted at all, and i sure will never buy anything from them... i would rather give money to saikosounds, who seem like much nicer people, in it for the right reason...

i think it depends on the mood i am in... most of the time i prefer chill with beats, but sometimes i need smthg really chill... to just relax and space out... i find that with no beats it's easier to relax sometimes...

i really don't get ur point about shameless self promotion... if u really thought i am advertising for saiko, then u must be seriously paranoid.. or maybe u work for some other websites i just like going there to hear samples that's all... as far as my 2nd point u did not get it so i can't answer ur question...

i think the main pb with reviews is that most people only rate albums considering the style... not if it's actually quality music... so if they like the style they will say it's great.... so u can't trust most reviews...

i never use reviews to buy smthg... i read them sometimes, more for fun than anything else, or to get some idea about what to get, but ultimately i listen before... can't trust them... i always listen to samples on saikosounds before...

yeah forget about it if u don't like dark stuff... also the thing is when he plays is it's only him.. at a normal party even if u don't like one dj u can wait till the next one, u get more variety of styles... with him u r stuck with the same thing... imo it's not what psy is about.. the problem is probably that he is considered a "legend" so people let him do what ever he wants and nobody can dare saying that they don't like waht he does...

a lot of it is filters... and automation (pitch, filters mostly)... try to automate certain parameters adn see what it does.. then also with melodies u can try to change the melodies but it's hard to do if u don't have a music background or u don't know the scales and chords...

also check the track ticon - we are the mammoth hunters (mos remix) man this track is fat...

for me a concept album is not about a topic (like drugs for 1200 mics) but more to have a consistency in sounds, like in classical mushroom for ex.

imo he's not worth seeing just because he is a legend... it depends what style of psy u like.. if u like really twisted stuff and dark stuff then u will love it, otherwise u will be hella bored... he can't mix... he plays the same stuff for like 18 hours straight.. no story... i saw him in california, and i was excited after reading people praising him so much... well let's say i will never go to a party where he is playing all night again...

well it's true they did not do it for the wholle track, and calling a remix i dunno it's hard to say... all i know is that melody doesn't fit the track... unnecessary imo...

they did rip off the whole melody....

jaia is pretty good.. not exacetly my style, but pretty intricate stuff... and varied too.... u can tell lots of work was put into it... listen the samples first though...

their new songs r pretty good.. but not as good as the previous album imo...

hard to say.. but it might be worth a try.. look at labels that have a similar style of releases...

sweet child is sooooooooo cheezy... arck... ear bleed... same for tequila... cheeeezy... overall i think tikal knows how to make full on better than most producers... there r some great sounds.. and u can tell they have a sense of melody and of how to make music... but i never got into their groove.. kick is too flat, and the groove just doesn't do it for me... i am surprised that traveller u r raving about this, when u always say most full-on is shit... this is better than most full-on structure wise like i said, but nothing spectacular... i would give this 2.5 out of 5

first three are the best... but it depends on ur tastes... what kind of psy u like?
