  1. where is s is allright.... though like tatsu said it doesn't come close to their later work, like the gathering or classical mushroom... u can tell they were just starting to make music together imo...
  2. it's not an album... all tracks were released on compilation i believe...
  3. 2nd track is logic bomb - frequent flyers
  4. it's happened to me too recently... this might be due to the fact that many releases are easier to digest nowadays than a few years back, when albums told a real stories, and the musical side of things was stronger than the production side as is the case nowadays... do like people suggested... listen to something else for a while, then u can come back to it refreshed and u'll appreciate it more....
  5. yes 128 is lower than cd quality.... dynamics suffer and frequencies too...
  6. astrix - eye to eye atmos - headcleaner
  7. i use audiocatalyst and it does the job fine... u can find it on any p2p...
  8. my advice would be .. don't do it... u might feel that way now but years from now u will probably regret it... just keep those cds cause ur tastes will change over time and u just might like some cds more... i got rid of lots of cds some years back, now i wish i did not have...
  9. in the mix is a sort of best of, with remixes, so i advise u not to get that one... same with ten, but this one is remixes from other people, so there aren't any trax by astral projection on it (or maybe 1)... so stick with the 5 u mentionned...
  10. some good trax in there.. esp the one that starts at 10.39 is slamming!!! can't wait...
  11. the argument that smthg is good because many people listen to it is crap... so then if i follow u brittney spears is good, and n-sync was good, etc etc...
  12. word... i completely agree with u ...
  13. i agree that he's been going dowhill since zodiac... i find his latest tunes very cheezy and uninspired...
  14. once again u need to take a deep breath before u post dude... there is no need to be aggressive like that... maybe i used the wrong word (responsible) but for ur info i love that xdream album and there is a lot of full on i like, i was merely answering the point that was made about logic bomb being the ones who made the full on bassline popular... so mate go smoke some or whatever makes u feel better and come back when u r refreshed...
  15. i think x-dream is more responsible for bringing the full-on basslines... they were the first to have huge basslines as well... listen to radio album for ex... which came out a few years before logic bomb's headware... and yes there is some full-on that i like... for ex altom, silicon sound, older talamasca etc etc...
  16. some of my fav talamasca trax: come on psychedelic knights magnetic fields telepathic atmosphere the hunted becomes the hunter time simulation leo the flow remix speaking robot T.B or not to be (with spacecat) 3 smoking gorillas (feat yuman and ben-j)
  17. link doesn't work...
  18. FP has a point... raja ram probably did more on shpongle thatn most people around here give him credit for... he brings ideas and is a good musician... look what he did with 1200 mics, u can clearly see his input on the first album... ok there r drug samples but if u look at it from a musical standpoint u can tell that he helped a lot with the musical side of things... and yes people in this forum are very biased towards simon p.... he is no god imo...
  19. why always present each full-on album as the next innovative thing?? it's lame imo... and gets old... and please check the grammar, there are tons of mistakes in that text... makes it look very unprofessional...
  20. i think another major pb is it's so easy to make music nowadays... anyone can try cause it's getting cheaper and cheaper... and then of course this scene has never been about professionalism, so many people want to release their friend's trax, or wanna be "cool" and connected cause they own a label and know people in the scene, and all this drags the standard quality down... and it's only gonna get worse imo...
  21. no hard feelings mate... maybe i overreacted...
  22. oh so i can't say how i feel about the psy scene b/c u don't agree?? if u can't handle people's opinions that are different than urs don't look at these topics... i have been listening to psytrance since 1999, and at first there were many good albums.. but now things have changed... and no i don't like dark trance at all... there are still tracks or albums that i like (latest vibrasphere comes to mind) but like overdose said i am listening more to other styles of music these days.. cause every time i check new releases on saikosounds i get disappointed... after a while it's discouraging when u see the amount of crap that's being released...
  23. i agree that the house scene has better djs overall... but at the same time a lot of those tracks are so repetitive... so they are much easier to mix... it's almost impossible to mix tracks together in full-on psy b/c there is a lot of layering going on... as far as psy being for just for going crazy on the dancefloor... u r talking about the commercial artists who now make music that's digestible by the greater amount of people... psytrance music of 7-8 years ago was different... i guess it comes down to taste... cause even if a house djs mixes 4 trax in one, chances are i'll still get bored most of the time, cause i don't like to wait 24 bars to have a change...
  24. i guess it depends for who... for those who love cheezy formulaic full-on music the scene is doing great... for me it's getting worse and worse... i can hardly find good new music these days... but there are scenes in the US that are very much alive like in san francisco, LA or new york...
