well that one was a best of album, which is probably why people did not mention it before...

a classic... and yeah too bad they don't make the same style anymore... last time i saw them live it was waaay too tweaky for my taste... did not like it ..

vocals suck balls... no place in psy really... i mean if it's just one word that's used it's ok... but to hear some sentences with uber cheezy meaning... no thanks...

i have seen him live 3 times... each time he played half new tracks and half old tracks... he has a great energy on stage and really gets into his music...

i don't trust anybody... like people said it's about taste and mine seems to differ those of most people... some people are better than others though... my fav is basilik cause he doesn't sugarcoat everything... and about psyreviews.. i used to like his reviews, but then i saw that he put 0/10 for smuhg and 7/10 for lamat, which means he cannot be trusted anymore... actually he even gave 10/10 for the mr peculiar album, WTF... i think most reviewers judge things on taste, they have no clue how to make music, so they can't be trusted...

they definitely have the skills... their production is getting better and better... but i don't like the direction they r going nowadays... did not like the samples at all...

good music but not my style at all... way too experimental and weird for me....

in logic there is a function... i think it's called midi smthg... don't remember now... will check later... but u can synch ur synth that way... so that u have no midi delay...

i think someone needs a good ear cleaning....

i think it's better to use one synth for the bass instead of three... u could layer bass sounds, but the main thign about bass is getting the right sound... try using the subtractor, use the init patch and try to make a patch... or u could use the sampler, there is a good sample called leadbass synth if i remember well... i used to use it before...

i saw that in the gms topic u said u don't like derango... well then i urge u to avoid goagil at all cost he plays this kind of music for 18 hours... go to goa gil's website... u can see videos from parties, it will give u an idea of what he plays... http://www.goagil.com/

i think the reason why people compare gms and Im is because they both used to make unique and intelligent music, but nowadays they do this commercial-for-the-masses music. anyway i gave up on both of them a while back.... they r only gonna get worse imo... btw that batman remix track is absolutely disgusting....

i don't think u need psychedelics to understand psytrance... what u need is making it... then u can really understand it...

actually i was disappointed by this... i really liked most of the tracks he released on compilations before this (in 2004-05 that is)... but i found the groove was lacking.... one track was ok but the rest are fillers imo...

i used audiorealism before... the trick is basically Eq... u have to remove the high frequencies...

the click sound in ur bass is an enveloppe problem... adjust the attack and release (should be one of those 2)... as far as good bass sound... try audiorealism, vb-l, and i got some success with cronos lately... give it a shot... and yes Eq is important but not absolutely necessary, depends on the synth and the bass u got... but i am not master at this.. just like u trying to get better at it... it takes a lot of time...

check the last album from yotopia... some nice tracks in there...
