indeed, there is no point of buying hardware with the new software that can do the same+so much more. BUt i still like to hug the hardware, and touch it gently, almost erotic. That's addictive man! It's more fun to play with hardware, cutoff en resonance are extacy and orgasm. +update your rebirth copy, there is no need to use 2 when you can have the latest for free. Rebirth stopt production but the latest version ever released is freeware.

i agree, transdimensional has got some hightlights but alot of the tracks can't catch my attention. I like Ra - to sirius much more. It's made by the same guy isn't it?

ok then, fair enough, i asked my good friend google and this is what i found: taken from suntrip website. IMO, Corolle is the most musical psy release ever. It is impossible to create if you don't have the gift & experience since childhood. I would not be suprised if this guy could compose classical pieces too.

DAMN right! I downloaded some years ago but i turned myself completely against it. I don't know about the musicscene but movies and television feel the money loss. In the past a movie or TV production in Belgium you would have a cameraman, 1st assistent and 2nd assistent. Who were all payed. nowadays, the famous actors or producers won't feel the difference but a 2nd camera assistent is a rarity, almost non existing. They are replaced with free jobs called cable assistent, instead of a payed job 2nd camera assistent. The best way to get into a mediacompany is to start as a 2nd camera assistent, but now it's called cable assistent and not payed. So alot of freelancers are often ripped off. The companies don't want to pay the moneyloss, (al least not all of it) so they shove it down a bit to their employees. In Belgian movies nowadays Sound engineers and boom operators are promissed a certain percentage of the profit. If they don't know that all belgian movies in history ended with great loss, except one, who ended on break even, then they are ripped off. So they work 5 months on a movie, then hear the producers lost money, and will not get payed a single €. Hollywood's answer to piracy is that they will aim at a public that doesn't download. movies for -18 or movies that will appeal to the biggest public. You wonder wy hollywood has been releasing all these silly actionhero movies? Well because the producers investigated who will watch them and concluded that the people who visit cinema's the most often are 12-16 year old. So that's why they focus to produce movies for that public because it garantuees the most profit. So everybody should think twice before they download the next movie cause you will not harm the industry but the people working for the industry!!! that PISSES ME OFF! and makes me really really sad. In the end i think the media platform will be transformed more into a quantity platform with more input from 3rd party then TV channels. So quality drop.

If you ever see them again you can keep em. +all the full on party people. I don't mind full on music but after every party some dude start blasting the most horrible fullon out of his car in the morning while there are houses around everywhere. Several nice locations were fucked up like that by people who want to show off their horrible taste in music. If they want to listen to some music in the morning why can't they just close the doors and play at a decent volume. NOOOOOO, everybody has got to hear they have the newest CD from chemical crew . well, too bad for them it's hard to impress me.

90% of all melodies i hear in spy and goatrance are made with an arpeggiator. Some synths, or VST's have build in arpeggiators. if you have a midi-controller or synth you can download sweet MIDI arpeggiator, connect IN to midi mapper and OUT to USB audiodevice and you can use it in windows to start experimenting. When you are done, save the midi and import it in your composer software. Don't underestimate the power of this tool, if you master it you don't need any musical skills to make music, sounds weird huh? sweet midi arpeggiator

haven't heard both albums, only saw them like..er.. 4 , maybe 5 times playing live. And Lani is one of the few artists that tries to bring the music as live as you can bring electronic music live. guitars, a couple synths & live percussion. Nowadays i would say their live acts are much like Sun projects, the full on version of sun project. If you don't like their musical style you will still be impressed by the skills and energy of the live acts.

This is probably the first and last time you'll see me say this but: I love some of those groovy basslines you made, they are so different then most psytrance but still sound very modern. Thank you for breaking out of that "my bassline is fatter than yours" box which dominated psytrance for the last few years... very promising and i'm extremely selective when it comes to music

I got bored with it. Don't know why. Probably too much parties. also most my friends got bored of it. That makes a big difference too, as long as the people who you really have fun with go to the parties it will never stop being fun. I never went for the music, I can handle any kind of party! as long as my buddies are there. And all the people I made fun with 2 years ago, are gone, have jobs, are stressed out in university, moved away, became full time junkie, etc that's life

It's ok if you refer to it in your songtitle and contact the original artist. Otherwise, it's lame. It's also lame cause it's easy, you can download midi's everywhere on the internet. Just doesn't feel right to use someone else's work, no? Even if it's stunning, a fine piece of music should be left untouched, most of the time i find the original version best. There was this psytrance CD which raped some classical masterpieces. the horror.... the horror... mozart-psy.
