  1. Artist: Perfect Blind Title: Wanderers Label: Neogoa Date: April, 2016 1. Passing the Veil 2. Floating Spheres 3. Outerland 4. Syncope 2015 5. Lunar Dawn - Blessings From Irij (Remix) 6. Edge of Solitude 7. Sabled Sun (with Subscale) 8. March of the Dragonflies 9. Nephilim' Dance (With Psilocybian) 10. Wanderers Bonus Tracks: 1. Sudden Clarity (Feat. CUBErt) 2. Outerland (Downtempo Mix) Igor Ceranic from Croatia may not be a household name, but he should be. If you're a fan of modern day goa trance you have certainly heard his work. All those physical CDs you've got stored in cardboard boxes until Ikea gets their sh*t together and makes a great CD rack are probably mastered by him. He's produced under the name Dual Barrel , Deimos , Perfect Blind...even as part of the metal band Subscale. This is his latest effort, a downtempo album that is filled with industrial sounds and atmosphere. That's kind of his thing and if you heard We Have Forgotten under his Deimos moniker you would already know that. This is not Solar Fields or Aes Dana so if you're looking to take a nap then this ain't the vehicle. Calling this chill is a stretch. His sounds are dark and the themes are as well. It's immersive and layered with Matrix-esque futuristic overtones. He told me once that he tries to go lighter sometimes, but it usually ends up in a dark place. The album is a solid experience with industrial ambient powerhouse Edge of Solitude and the engaging Sabled Sun. Usually when guitars make an appearance it has a tendency to become a sh*tshow, but it was well done here. His take on Lunar Dawn's Blessing's From Irij (released on Blessings From Irij Remixes) is still a slowed down goa treat. Unfortunately I felt that March of the Dragonflies and his contribution with psytrance genius Psilocybian didn't really go anywhere. Missed opportunity. That said, I liked this album, but I think he's just scratched the surface of his talent. Personally I would love an even darker industrial goa album. His sound is so lush and he layers so well. Because I think he has the potential to be the next UX or Syb Unity Nettwerk. When you buy his album from his Bandcamp page you also get two downloadable bonus tracks. Now you can download it for free from Ektoplazm, but if you buy it from his bandcamp you can also bundle it with the Deimos album and that is highly recommended. Plus you get to help the artist and that's never a bad thing. Perfect Blind Bandcamp Ektoplazm
  2. Artist: Maan Title: Floral Cortex Label: Neogoa Records Date: May, 2020 1. Prelude: Havenless 2. Mother Moss 3. Instant Equilibrium 4. Re/Bells 5. Gardens With Flowers of Crazy Colors 6. The Wednesday Pond 7. Red Relic 8. Interstate Insects 9. Maven 10. Postlude: Antiquity Maan is Frode Ungar from Norway and this is his debut album. His Orbiter Ep from 2017 was very good as were his compilation tracks. Neogoa consistently releases quality goa trance and this is no exception. While not being exceptional at anything, it is extremely solid at everything. Ten tracks with the intro and outro being short sketches that had me wanting more. The goa gets started with Mother Moss and as the title insinuates this is more of a forest track with a goa feel. Loses its way a bit in the middle, but finishes strongly. Instant Equilibrium is an immediate stormer that feels very old school. Sounds like old X-Dream. It hardly deviates from its opening structure, but it's so bouncy and infectious I don't mind. I liked the metallic synth banging right out of the gate with Re/Bells and it maintains the goa flavor. The crystal clear sound and punchy bass of Garden With Flowers hits me immediately and the groove is similar to M-Run efforts. Most interesting track goes to The Wednesday Pond, sounding downtempo and progressive at the same time. Really a very zen experience. Red Relic combines a hammering bass and a frenetic synthline, but not a whole lot else. Insects is very high intensity with screeching synth leads and never fully takes a break, but keeps evolving. Maven closes it out with a super crisp sound and bouncy rhythms. Really liked the understated layers in this one. Like I said, not exceptional at anything, but great at everything. It's a solid goa album that I felt could've been better, but with numerous dalliances in other genres. I look forward to the next one. Neogoa Records Bandcamp
  3. As summer comes to a close let us reflect on all that has passed so far this year through ambient meditation, and when the psychedelic groove drops feel free to get up and dance. Tracklist Asura - Territories Part One 00:00 Loscil - Bellows 04:20 Aesthesia - Moment Of Silence 10:06 Astronaut Ape - Submerge 15:34 Shpongle - Periscopes of Consciousness 20:32 Shpongle - Schmaltz Herring 22:22 Ott - Roflcopter 24:29 Tahabdra - Hotalo 30:25 Spatialize - Cat And Mouse 35:14 Kabalistic Village - The Lost Princess 39:44 Severence - Modulate 44:30 Carbon Based Lifeforms - Held Together By Gravity 50:10
  4. Artist: Xenofish Title: Encoder Label: Self Released Date: May, 2013 01 - Xenofish - Sigma (146 BPM) 02 - Xenofish - Leviathan (145 BPM) 03 - Xenofish - Discharge (176 BPM) 04 - Xenofish - Ziggurat (146 BPM) 05 - Xenofish - Mashiro's Dream (155 BPM) 06 - Xenofish - Logfile (97 BPM) 07 - Cybernetika - Pulsar (feat. Xenofish) (141 BPM) 08 - Xenofish - Blurred Matrix (83 BPM) This is the debut album from Christian Becker and it is an offering of different styles while running with a sci-fi/technology theme. It sounds very clear and I will tell you it is fairly intense. He eases us into things with the benign Sigma, a track with a nice breakbeat, but pretty forgettable. Leviathan is a somewhat harder full-on track with a very nice break that becomes more lush the longer it goes on. Discharge brings us our first taste of drum n bass and it is massive. Walls of electronic sound puncture the atmosphere with the high tempo calling card of this style. Again, Christian's break work is a highlight of the track with the dynamic give and take of all the elements. The track is constantly evolving, even slowing down to a mid tempo swagger briefly before erupting. Easily my favorite. Ziggurat is a lush, cosmic journey feeling warm and cold at the same time. The electronics vibrate as if alive and it instantly draws me in. Same with the beginning of Mashiro's Dream as he has fun with the cut-off knob. Decent, but not as cool as the previous two. Logfile is interesting because it's glitchy, noisy, nonsense sound is how I believe a computer would create music without instruction. Even though it is itself amusical, it fits right in with the theme. The team-up with Cybernetika is a treat and his influence is readily visible with a more melodic flair. Perhaps the machines last gasp, their final attempt to subvert the humans. The final track is an atmospheric ambient aftermath as docile as the previous tracks were unyielding. The battle is over and all that remains is to rebuild. It's a wonderful debut album. Full of varied styles with electronic fire and storytelling breaks. Very futuristic with excellent production. Highly recommended! Free at Ektoplazm
  5. Artist: Eguana Title: Invisible Civilization Vol. 2 Label: Cosmicleaf Records Date: September, 2018 1. Deep Space 2. Birth of the Atom 3. Cleavage of Matter 4. Vacuum Gardens 5. Extraterrestrial Intelligence 6. Tentacles of Alien Organism 7. Internal Processes 8. Structure of the Invisible World 9. Beautiful Creatures There is ambient and then there's...well, um... "Dude, cmon...you're turn to do dishes." If you're angry or upset about something and you're spiraling and don't know what to do, then I highly recommend two things. First and most importantly seek the help you need. There are people out there that specialize in whatever is causing you pain. Second, begin listening to this extremely chill album. It's slow motion underwater floating amidst bubbles and majestic sea creatures. It's comatose observation of simple objects...for 72 hours. Track times are utterly irrelevant as each one melts into the next, yet there is the thinnest of melody lifelines with which to grasp. And you're gonna need it to come out the other side. The first time I became aware of a kick drum was track 7. To be honest I don't know how he completed this album without hard scheduling to regular nap times. So smooth and sublime. Really enjoyed it. When all that hardcore dance music has gotten to be a little bit out of control. This is what I imagine the soundtrack to exploring the depths of the ocean would be. Cosmicleaf Records Bandcamp
  6. Hey folks, Looking for some gentle sounds to fall asleep to? Perhaps a consciously carved, immersive sound journey for your yoga practice or ceremony? Maybe your just whacked after a long day & need to recharge / recalibrate! Whatever your intention, these dreamtime sounds should help a little...simply stop, breath & allow the music to weave its magic A big thank you to all these artists for their super nourishing sounds! Please take a moment to check out their other work if you like what you hear 1. Pitch Black - Did You Get the Message 2. Sinepearl - Phenomena 3. Antonio Testa - Lumumba 4. Beatfarmer - Droplets (ocean mix) 5. Deya Dova - Transmission from the Bird Tribe 6. Liquid Bloom - Roots of the Earth (Shanti & Wei-Chi Field Ambient remix) 7. Sync 24 - Walk On Spheres 8. 7. Artist: Phobium Title: Oort Cloud Label: Omnitropic Date: September, 2013 1 - The Cloud At A Distance 2 - Drifting Past Comets (105 BPM) 3 - Crossing The Heliopause (145 BPM) 4 - Into The Interstellar Medium (99 BPM) 5 - Towards Proxima Centauri (101 BPM) 6 - Distant Sol Gimme a minute, I'll get there. I'm not smart enough to get into the details of what an Oort cloud is, but think space, chunks of icy matter, and comets. Got that? Then you are now floating untethered through the cold blackness of deep space. Slow drifting ambient somewhat reminiscent of Kitaro if he joined NASA. Phobium is Henning Ottesen from Norway and he presents the story of the first manned mission to travel through this massive cloud surrounding our solar system. The ambient sounds like what you would expect the soundtrack to the far reaches of space would sound like. Take an arpeggio, surround with pads, repeat. At 17 minutes it felt like it took forever to cross the Heliopause. My mind wandered. What am I going to make for dinner? Is John Travolta really gay? How come cows don't tip over when they're on a steep hill? Can I just microwave 3 day old coffee or should I stop being a lazy f*ck and just brew another pot? I poke fun, but he's got talent no question. Into the Interstellar medium is a vivid cross section of a slow motion tumble amongst the stars where you should be freaking out, but it's so calm and serene relaxation is the only response. Towards Proxima Centauri speeds things up as he rediscovers his software has a beat function. This is deep trance where time is rendered meaningless as I try to take it all in. This could be what the outcome would sound like if you locked Tangerine Dream and Vangelis and they spent all their time comparing dick sizes. Distant Sol is an isolating drone that will help you appreciate just how vast space is. So vivid and simple it moves unbelievably slowly like an old lady in the left lane. So yeah slow as f*ck but deliciously ominous. The crew of the Event Horizon has been slaughtered and the freighter is left to drift into deep space for eternity. Alone, so alone. Three tracks over 13 minutes of a very repetitive style is a lot to take. F*ck you Phobium for making me think about gay John Travolta drinking 3 day old coffee. But thank you Phobium for presenting that scary as hell last track. Free at Ektoplazm Mdk

  9. Zen Baboon - Re-Visited http://kck.st/2u5WcGK https://digitalreprints.bandcamp.com/album/re-visited-kickstarter-project Amazing, isn't it? Digital Reprints has already 10 releases under her belt. That means You have contributed in bringing 10 amazing releases in our space-time continuum. So what now? One place we haven't yet visited is the Mediterranean. I know it's still the middle of winter (this side of the globe at least) but before you know it Spring will be here. And there is a duo, located in beautiful Portugal who know exactly what music to provide to lift your spirits and take you towards a sunny journey. That duo is known as Zen Baboon of course Henriq and Daniel released their debut album, Suber, in Elektric Dream Records on 2013. It was a fine mix of Chillout, Downtempo, Lounge and Ambient music, masterfully balancing between the two extremes without favouring one over the other. It was their first, and unfortunately, their last physical release. After the critical appraise of their debut album, followed releases on various compilations. It was 3 years later, in their own label (Baboon Clinic) that their second album was released. At the same year is when Zen Baboon became more productive releasing various EPs. In 2019 their last album saw the light. An astounding release of downtempo tunes accompanied by spoken words and poetry. But what about the music collectors out there? The fans that take pride on showcasing their collection and having an exhilarating feeling when they are actually holding a release in their hands? Probably you have already pledged even before you reached these words but in case you are new to Digital Reprints here is what you get. By helping us reach our goal you will take pride knowing that you helped bring a truly limited release to existence. A 4xCD digipack with the albums Origiro and Beat Generation and 2 discs with various tracks compiled by Henrique himself. But that's not all. Almost all the tracks will be alternate versions of the ones currently available. Either remastered, edited for this release or remixed for live shows. And just 100 copies worldwide. What else is there to ask? Oh yeah, 10 copies (only) will be signed by Henriq and Daniel.

  13. Hey there! :-) I'm new to this cool forum, and I read the rules. Anyway if I do something wrong, just tell me. But actually I'm not selling anything so it should be alright ;D I want to share my EP with you guys. As I'm currently fighting a heavy depression, music was the only thing that saved my life so far. I produced 4 tracks and it might be a completely different style of Psytrance. Maybe most likely morning psytrance, but different. I think it's just my own style. I want to join Ambient and Psytrance... most of the time at least. But hear with your own ears But I'd be very happy to know how it sounds to others ears. It's a soundcloud link and you can just listen to it. hach.. I just love Psytrance.. the language of my soul. :-) Soundcloud - Spheres of Light <iframe width="100%" height="300" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" allow="autoplay" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/playlists/970019866&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true"></iframe> Let me know what you think about it. 16. Artist: Blisswave Title: Manvantara Label: Melusine Records Release Date: July 3, 2019 1. Manvantara 2. Into The Abyss 3. Dance of Shiva 4. Portal to Shambala 5. Interstellar 6. Blisswave - Manvantara (Continuous Album Mix) Blisswave Is Michele Leonard, a multi instumentalist who has a nack for producing glorious sounds and soothing landscapes. Manvantara starts of off with some super ethereal energy that for a short moment turns ominous before light synths come in to let us know that is all ok and that's the first minute and a half. So many feelings. The broken beat kicks us off into a track that will travel us through all the feelings of the rest of the album in one go. ~ Into the Abyss - Call of The Ones takes us through our paces of emotions just like the first track, only it has more time to delve into the ether of lightly clouded strange planets that we slowly wade through in a sense of complete dreamlike relaxation. A beautifully made piece that quite literally fills you with peace. That or an impending anxiety of the unknown. For me it was pure bliss. Dance of Shiva - Comes in hot with eastern melodies and a beat designed to pull you ever so smoothly from the tranquil state the last track just put you in. So enjoyable that the sonic soundscapes rush by you and the track is over before you know it. Portal to Shambala - Comes in off the back of Dance to Shiva seamlessly. A continuation of beats and rhythms that are 2 parts beautiful and 1 part shambalic vibrations. Interstellar - angelic and soft this track is everything it says it is. A trip into the warm and self-assuring parts of the atmos, where Oxytocin flows from your synapses with ease. Continuous Album Mix - What you are going to push play on if you have 3/4 of an hour up your sleeve and a whole lot of chillin' on the calender. ~ Blisswave has created a floating, dreamy & at times groovy extraordinaire. The first song really gives you a glimpse of what is to come so check it out to see if it's your cup of Chai Matcha. At the very least this is dream inducing morning symphony, at the most it's a deep, thoughtful & carefully curated group of tracks that are both fun and relaxing. https://melusinerecords.bandcamp.com/album/manvantara-24bits

  19. Reflections of memories and dreams, all those stories and good hopes... Close your eyes and recall some of those mystical moments that are left in the distant past ... Everything has changed, except the silent, still witness within us. Experience of change is only possible on the canvas of the stillness, as well as the light is only real on the canvas of the dark. The change itself, with all the fractal worlds of all possible, always changing forms, is like a tiny little invisible dot on the surface of the vast omnipresent land of stillness. When you realize this, you're free. There's nothing to fear, nothing to lose, nothing to get, and a lot to give. You're free to give. You give, you live.... Do you remember? This album is dedicated to those mystical moments when we're not looking from the mind, when we are what we really are, like if there's no time. If it takes time, it's the mind. If it takes no time, it's Nirvana... Peace. Released March 6, 2019 Album art by Daniel Spacek. Bandcamp - https://ambientium.com/album/city-of-memories
