Maybe it were my expectations, but Tristan's Chemisphere didn't impress me at all. The last track is nice though.

Voted for the third option. CBL and Asura were great but I don't know about the other stuff.

Interesting interview. I haven't heard anything about him until now. And that he even invented his own instruments, wow!

You might want to check out the rockbox project, and the players that are supported. I read some of them (Cowon for example) have very nice sound quality. Rockbox is also very customizable (wav, flacs playback, gapless playback, customizable eq), some even say that the sound quality is better when using it. I haven't tried it (yet), so I can't say if it's true or not...

A big difference beetwen your first and your second reply. I haven't really checked out Filteria's last album, so I can't judge it. But in general I agree with you: newschool goa is less memorable than the tracks from the old era. I guess there's not that much focus on the lead melodies? Hm.. imo at least. Anyway Filteria has some "killer" tracks: Mind Expansion, Rotate To Vibrate, Snuggling Snail; to name just a few I remembered. (peace+love )
