Q: Who released the ,,official" first Goa/psychedelic-trance CD (CompactDisc) and in which year? if my memory doesn't fail me: V.A. / Project II Trance (Dragonfly) in August 1993.... :posford:

well, it has been quite unavailable at psyshop for some time.... :-( so I tried my luck at discogs...and found myself a copy, brand new and at a reasonable price as well...no € 1,00 however.... hehe....but I am glad I have my own original copy now cause it is an exceptional album imo...the Transwave album as well although it is back in stock at psyshop as well... (I will take that as a compliment .... ... been following the psy-goa-whatever scene since 1995...pure as a music lover....by the way, I have my eye on the Sundrops compilation as well...is it any good? ... ... we do need to get to know each other better.... hahaha .... ... ) :drama:

:posford: just arrived: TRANSWAVE - Backfire CELL - Phonic peace bettter late than never!! first impression: pure bliss (although I already knew that of Cell) now waiting for AP's Another world, Tandu's Multimoods and Logic Bomb's Unlimited.....

also not what I expected....don't get me wrong, it's not a bad album,quite good actually...but it's not in the style as for example "Embers"on the Arcana compilation some years ago ....but then again that's probably an important characteristique of Seb Taylor's Hibernation project...that it mixes a great many of different styles and that it is hard to pinpoined this music.....overal a loungy feel to it....

Respect for everyones taste but .... ....even Toires's Sanati???!! hmm....food for thought....

it seems to get better as the year reaches its closure......just look what just came out and what is coming out soon.... a test for my self-control.....and i guess not for mine alone ( abasio....)

Ra is great....pure nostalgia that fills my soul with a warm glow.....nice one indeed.... Loopus is quite fun to listen to....very fat basslines.....like it a lot..... Talpa and Hibernation are definately worth your money...... Squazoid: first impression is quite good....it contains a sort of remix of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus....hehe....you should definately check it out!!! It's way better than the same same but "different" full on-ish releases these days (years)...quite original....

I do realise people out here look for psychedelic tunes....myself included......been listening to psy for over a decade now..... that still doesn't mean i have to like everything that is supposed to be psy.....I just do not like that particular song....and i find the rest better....must be getting old i pressume...hahaha greetz

and the winner is............ IM - Disco Mushroom from the well known album Classical Mushroom!! :clapping: now that wasn't too hard, was it? next one please....

to be honest, never really got into this one.... surely track numbers 2 - 3- 5 are excellent....but the rest.....hmmm ...... not one of the best from that era i believe....and i like one love much more.... but once again all imho

this albums includes one of my all time classics: In the hands of the shaman......what a wonder.... been listening to this song for over a decade now..... :drama:

crap....i missed out on the first album....and the second was on my wishlist......having doubts now... just love the track on V.A. - Illuminations.....

V.A. - Catcher (Aurinko) Spiral Active Project - id. (as mentioned before) Which famous track starts with a sample from the movie "In dreams"? ...

...the closing track of perhaps their best / most stylish album.....YES!!! it's brilliant, emotive, psychedelic and they are unable/unwilling to make this kind of music again.... but not the apogee for me.....I still very very much enjoyed IM the supervisor for instance.... perhaps it was the close of an era....for them as well as for the scene....?

great album....although not one of my all time favourite chill out albums...(at this moment of writing...) track 3 is one of my favourites...... great buy though......

During really smoked out times, lying in bed....listening, dreaming......: Anahata - Shakti But I can not go round TOIRES' - SaNatI.......one of the best chill out albums ever made....along with a couple of other...but I am already cheating here.....hehe.....
