  1. this is actually a really good album. i was beginning to think i was the only one who liked this CD
  2. The time between albums really doesn't shock me... Astral Projection's last album was in 2002... MFG had about a 5 year time between their last 2 albums as well. The older artists seem to like take their sweet time...
  3. I want this version... badly. I haven't had much luck finding it. Everyone tells me to search ebay... I check daily. Hasn't popped up yet. If anyone is wanting to sell please PM me. Thank you. edit: Just so there is no confusion... this is the version i am looking for: Trip To Trancesylvania
  4. a pretty good album. i will agree with those who said there is a lot of fillers on here. some tracks either have it, or they don't... The few stand outs, in my opinion are: Floor-Essence, Azymuth and Sugar Rush. The rest are just okay to me.
  5. I guess this is debatable subject but I was wondering if anyone could actually tell me what got goa trance started in the 90s? The earliest CDs I have for the genre are Juno Reactor - Transmissions and X-Dream - Trip To Trancesylvania. Both were from 1993 (although X-Dream had some singles from 1991 and 1992 according to their Best-Of release). Is there goa that predates these two (some will argue if juno or dream's first albums were even goa, but for the sake of this thread, lets assume they are)
  6. Man With No Name - Interstate Highway couldnt find it..

    MFG - The Message

Like the majority here, I prefer 90's goa to today's full on and psy. With that being said, I hated this album at first. Seemed ordinary, commericial and nothing special. The music did grow on me though... Brainwaves really stands out a lot.. as well as The Message, which has a pretty memorable beat and rhythm in it. I haven't heard their newest album yet (2006) but if they perfected what they started here, then I can say that it must be good. MFG are a top trance act that only a handful of others artists for genre can compete with in my opinion.
  8. I think this is a little late... We Interface came out in 2004... it took 3 years to make a remix album? I was expecting an actual NEW album soon....
  9. I liked Shenzhou and even Autour De La Lune better than this one. this one gets 7/10 from me
  10. I've had a CD take nearly a month. I had an exact count of days but I forget now... 27 days sounds about right. I took so long that when it finally came, I had forgotten all about ordering it! It came from Germany I believe, and i'm here in the US. I know a week or 2 is normal for that distance... But I honestly think the guy just didnt send it right away. It was a eBay transaction. I ended up giving him no feedback.. even though I was tempted to give negative. The CD did arrive in perfect shape.. just took forever.
  11. ah cool thanks! for some reason i thought it was from 2001
  12. I think you're talking about Message From God. That is their 2006 album.. The Message was their 2001 album. Confusing I know.. But I don't think their is one for The Message
  13. i'm looking forward to this one. Hydroponic Garden is one my favorite chill albums
  14. couldn't find a review for MFG - The Message did i overlook it?
  15. well looks like i got quite a bit of stuff to start checking out... i thank everyone!
  16. after you hear a couple minutes into Point of no Return, it does just that to you.. you are enjoying the music far too much to ever turn it off before its done playing!
  17. A more mature Trip To Trancesylvania. One of my favorites by X-Dream but the release date has always confused me. Everywhere I go it always states it came out in 1997.. yet in their Best Of set it states this album was from 1995.. and that would have made sense seeing how Trip was from 1993 and Radio was in 1998.. the years make more sense this way. Maybe it got delayed quite a bit?

    Koxbox - U-Turn

Anyone know of any shops/sellers in the US that are selling this yet?
  19. X-Dream - We Interface i know a lot of fans disliked this one, but I find it pretty satisfying. Not really trance, but i'm always up for something a bit different.
  20. i checked out Dimension 5... wow they are pretty good..
  21. Well i'm on a huge goa kick lately, mostly old school stuff and i'm wondering what album you guys consider to be goa in it's purest form? For me Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite and X-Dream - Trip to Trancesylvania hit the spot for me... But theres gotta be a lot more good stuff out there. Whats the perfect goa album for you?
  22. These guys don't interest me much anymore, but their 90's stuff was amazing. If they ever make another actual FSOL album again, i'll look forward to it. AA doesn't do anything for me (but i do like Tales of Ephidrina, of course)
  23. Can anyone recommend a site to buy his albums? I've been wanting to get something by him for awhile now...

    Koxbox - U-Turn

the samples sound good. i plan on getting this one
  25. i guess i could try the "listen to it a lot and force myself to like it" approach, seeing how casual listens every month or so haven't done much
