I think it's other way around. Eg. butterfly trip is very simple track which certainly doesn't bring out any boundaries of synths. Instead in Cosmosis' case... he really takes everything out of the software he uses. He has sound no-one could ever copy. Crispy, funky, acidic... 'Spores from Space?' is in my all-time top 5 tracks
-
dude, MFG nor Astral Projection don't come even close to Cosmosis' talent. End of story. It's alright you like 'simpliest' music than Cosmosis but to say it sounds bad? That's like saying Simon isn't a god. i.e. blasphemy

could you swallow it after some chewing?

Not a bad cd, not a bad price. But then again none of those tracks are exclusive there. More collector's value than musical value.

So I guess you've by now checked my suggested artist(s)? Something in the line of Schnauss but maybe even a step further -

Nervasystem - Decoder how great is Nervasystem eh? There's no such minimal madness anywhere. Small themes, but whatta themes! If there's ever been good minimal goa, Nervasystem is/are your main man(s). Nervasystem - 13 amp fusion Nervasystem & Aether - the mama matrix most mysterious gotta buy <3 -
Billy has a bad taste
-
Billy's "Synergy" and "Intergalactic" are so bad ass kicking groovey psykedelika. "Cosmology" always felt somehow incomplete because of tracks 2 & 3 which are quite crappy compared to other tracks on that album. (not that I wouldn't take the album ) If somebody wants to he could say to Billy that "Howling At The Moon" and "Spores From Space?" are pure perfection. I wouldn't change a second in those tracks. Say thanks to him for everything!

The list is way too huge. I already own money to X-Scream. =Z Well I should be getting: Uvantam.com - Guri & Guru Joking Sphinx - Hezou Tome Ketha Minh - Ketha Minh Squaremeat - Squarebeat X-Dream - Panic In Paradise these soon so maybe I could spend my pennies to something else for a while... there must be 200-300 cds I'm searching currently so if I'd write a list 1) it'd take too much of precious time 2) other's don't care about this goa cock's picks anyways

jungleteknow - 21-Apr-06 03:15 AM This is by far the worst Pendulum release so far. Not sure why they have managed to stumble from their throne after making some of the heaviest tunes of the last couple of years?! Both tracks on this vinyl are pretty dull and lack the excitement that is usually existant in Pendulum tunes. Hopefully this will be a one off experience. Rating: 2.2/5 (5 votes)

Symphoid - Scissorbeats Sooth slow evolver-revolver! The melodies are recorded at the tranquillity lake at sunrise. but it changed! Symphoid - Spiral Staircase. We are acting politely to each other. Ladies know to put hand in front of their mouths when they giggle. I take it all in calm fashion, taking that sublime tim curry-smile. -
Why isn't there any sense with donating money to artist you like? f.ex. you would like... Quirk (Mark Allen). You go buy his album from Ebay (I got his 1st one for 1 lousy dollar! bargain!). So basicly if you buy the album with few bucks, and you can donate let's say... 10 dollars? to the artist by paypal/cash letter/cheque... that'd leave you with a cd you basicly paid "full price", only that artist got most of the money! superb! Only reason now to hide behind your wishy washy "ethics" would simply be that you don't want to buy anything at all, you want it for free.
-
Radi, you can PM the mods (Mars) telling them you don't like Reger quoting you. I think that should take care of it alright. And music-wise, you want old music but don't want to buy it if you don't support the artist? Well, you can always buy something from ebay with low price and at the same time use some extra money and donate to artist. Perfectly working solution.

"just 5 could you find" well what do you expect? you wanted BOTH quality and quantity with from a small genre like this. If I'd have included 3cd sets the list would've gotten out of hands... Awesome thing from Rumour Records to compile such amount of ol' Phantasm goodness inside one compilation. ECT's and Moonweed & Squid's are the finest discoveries of old sound I've come up recently!
