    Yes some tech house is really good and can have a much more "trancing" effect as you put it. Its slower , groovier and less hectic than most of psychedelic music not to mention much more suited to indoor gigs than psychedelic trance. I used to listen to DJ Slater's sets from tribal vision and they used to rock. I wish i had the track list for one his sets, one of the grooviest sets ive heard. He also mixed some psy which went really well with the tech house stuff. Dnox & beckers, Brisker & Magitman and some of Ducas tracks are what I would call a hybrid crossover between psychedelic prog and tech house. Boris Brejcha is regarded as one of the best djs in the techno scene. He plays a mix of minimal , techno and tech house. Maybe you could check him out.

    2 tracks standout here - Music therapy and Your mind both high on the psyche IMO. Treads a very fine line between psy and the other slightly commercial genres of electronic music but does not loose its essence nor does it sound cheezy. A very different approach from a goa veteran which might not appeal to the purists but if you look behind the veil of your commercial prejudice you will see an album that can set a dancefloor rocking for fans of both housy electronica and progressive psychedelic alike while opening up a new genre altogether for the openminded psy folk . psyhouse

    yea all very good !! love EvsY , i really like Virtuusi di quosi ? , that is the kind of heavy sound im talking about yet keeping it very original . I wish they come out with an album soon. awesome duo IMO

    Anybody else dig this subgenre ? i like the approach finns have to psychedelic ,really funky and original. What/when was the exact origin of suomi ? was it texas faggot ? and technically speaking , what exactly is it that do they do different compared to the other psy artists ? Im really stoked about Salakavala's new album "Unusual conditions" http://soundcloud.com/salakavala Would like to hear about other artists who have a maximal psy sound without losing that trademark suomi signature .

    Guess who is back with a new album ? its called 604 this guy is the don of progressive music .. nobody does it better than Atmos.. im getting a good feeling about this

    Dont like hard trance , jungle so much but this track has a nice jolly feel good rhythm and happy melodic content going for it . not bad 7.5/10
