Hmm. We'll I don't expect anything revolutionary about the new album. It really is taking them time to make this new one, I'm sure it will be a good release, jus how good I dunno.. I'm giving it hope tho Ed: Oh and, AP allways released their music for free in 128 kbit fyi. I remember mp3.com, if it wasn't for those mp3s I'd probably never hear about ap in the first place. At that time I was still a kid, I couldn't afford any music.

Actually I was aiming for MOTU myself (the ultralite), but then I've read alot of bad user feedback, especially conserning their software & drivers which really put me off as that's the one thing I really want to avoid :/ I think i'll eventually go with the fireface, I'm just looking for some user experiences with this card, if they had any problems etc.

So I'm aiming to get myself an extremely stable soundcard with, of course, some good features and support. I've been around forums on the net and I saw some very good responses from RME, they actually help out the users that have some trouble with their hardware/software. That's allways a plus for me. Well I did read some topics where users had problem with the phantom power randomly turning on, causing damage and whatnot, but that seemed to be fixed with the driver updates (the topic is actually 1-2 years old). Anyhow, I've also read some good reviews, and this thing seems to be almost perfect (for my taste). Does anyone have any experience with this soundcard or RME in general? Would you recommend it? Would you not recommend it, and tell me why so? Any input is appreciated As for the use of it, I'm mostly doing software production, but I also have some hardware synths which I might use ocasionally, but I am aiming to expand my hardware setup in the near future anyhow so this soundcard may proove useful. About 9-10. I remember the first goa tune I've heard was from a dj set that was broadcasted online. Even tho I had a 56k back then so it took ages to stream in, when the first track - aqua line spirit tuned in, i was hypnotized!

Actually it's for my headphone jack. I can't switch the cables like I would with the analog outputs. Yeah I could see some use in it, maybe add it in the channel thats triggering the sidechain and achieve a different effect on the ducked audio. You would need a sidechain compressor that has some use of panning. Well I'll try it out anyhow and see if anything interesting comes up.

What's the use of that? I need it during production, otherwise I would have to do all my productions backwards. Nice try tho lol

Simple as that. I need a vst or dx plugin (preferably free?) that I'll be putting in my master bus and all it does is inverts the stereo channels. So left goes right, and vice versa. I need this cos, the outputs from my soundcard are inverted (manufacter mistake over at terratec labs ) so it's quite impossible for me to do any stereo work when I've got the channels inverted. Got any ideas? (plz don't redirect me to booble thx!) Ed: I've looked about on kvraudio but couldn't find any. Maybe I'm searching with the wrong keywords, not sure :/
