  1. Alva Noto - Xerrox Vol.2
  2. Lamat - Master Control
  3. Since you mention Yagya and Aphex Twin I would say the stuff you're looking for is what I would classify as "ambient techno". Maybe you should try some of these then: Brock Van Wey - White Clouds Drift On And On DeepChord presents Echospace - The Coldest Season Deltidseskapism - Nattmusik Gas - Nah Und Fern Intrusion - The Seduction of Silence Marc Leclair - Musique Pour 3 Femmes Enceintes Monolake - Hongkong Monolake - Interstate Quantec - Unusual Signals Rod Modell - Vibrasound Vladislav Delay - Anima
  4. I'm not really sure how this is useful for anyone. You don't know what sound card, amplifier and headphones I have. One setting at 90 % of full volume may be a different dB for everyone who is trying out the test.
  5. Ambient is very broad, so it would be good to know what you like at the moment, and then we can build from there. Regarding IDM, I do listen to it, but I only like very few artists in this genre. Autechre is of course the band that I would recommend to start with, as it is my favorite. "Amber" may be their best album for you since it has a very strong ambient element in it.
  6. I saw that you posted this on IDMf too *hehe* Nothing wrong with promotion though ;-)
  7. Scorn - Plan B CD Scorn - Stealth CD Scorn - List Of Takers CD

  13. Errr....what is with this elitist attitude? Wouldn't it be nice if more people were introduced to obscure AND good music?
  14. You can't keep anything secret with the internet. To start with everyone has access to Psynews, and secondary pretty much all music is available for free with the aid of P2P. I'm not defending or saying that it's a good thing, but it's better to just accept it, it'll go easier on you when reality comes crushing into your little fantasy world.
  15. p(sy)ayam, do you like tech-house? Cause I have alot of that if you're interested.
  16. This cover art was quite tasteful. Would like to hear the music too!
  17. I quite like my ego. More more more more for myself :-D
  18. Guess I did my own interpretation of the topic, since it's subjective anyway what is underrated or overrated. Additionally I have no idea what sales are like anyway for these artists.
  19. This is just newly released... Robert Henke - Indigo_Transform CD
  20. Man! I'm glad it's 2009 and not 1975. Electronic music is so much better now.
  21. Listening to Legiac that Time_Clap recommended, sounds very very good! ***clap is also slang for gonorrhea in case you didn't know
  22. Gee, perfect timing man!! Don't you even have respect for what OPs say that runs this place?
  23. I just checked Discogs... no proper releases except a 12".... no wonder people doesn't know about them
  24. I've been to a few parties with music powered by DJ's, but I never cared to remember any names. Guess I'm not that interested who is playing. If I hear a good song though, I'll ask who is the artist instead.
