  1. Finally, a sensible post in this IMophobic thread of nonsense. Edit: I also include Otto's post as one of sense.
  2. Nice review, Shaft. Instability, as you say, is truly a masterpiece and probably the best climax to any psy trance/ambient trance album.
  3. I'd say Hallucinogen's Shamanix or Horrorgram, and unlike a lot of powerful trance, both tracks have purpose, drive and direction. Class acts.
  4. Crikey, Infected Mushroom sure are loathed on these boards. I've personally not given up on them completely just yet. From their 5 albums, 3 are superb, 1 is good, and 1 was diasappointing. Not a bad track record I reckon. Of course if the new album is similar to their last - I'll probably join the rest of you.
  5. Steady on. Next thing you'll be saying Simon Posford is great.
  6. Taika, you don't have any copies of your second album for sale by any chance/or know where I might find it? I recently discovered your first album, Electro Fluoro Punx, and it's fantastic. I need a second fix.
  7. Come on, you guys love America and wanna be just like them.
  8. Don't be silly.
  9. I really like it. I bought it when I was on holiday in the middle east and subsequently whenever I hear it it reminds me of those happy, hazy days. My only criticism would be it often has a cold, hard sound to it where as I prefer warmer, more organic sounding trance.
  10. I'll get back to you on that.
  11. Why so many Swedes?
  12. Have you bought it? Which are your favourite tracks?
  13. I know what you mean but better it be too short than too long, keeps you coming back for more that way. And about that bass, yeah, it's thumping.
  14. I downloaded the track but it's not hugely different from the album version. Still nice though.
  15. They're a sort of cross between cakes and biscuits, made from oats and syrup. They're yummy.
  16. Shall I send you some of my homemade flapjacks?
  17. What an intriguing thread. Is it a cryptic message?
  18. Yeah, it's by no means his best work. Still pretty good though.
  19. Yes, I did. Are you after the custom title that only comes with a post count of 3000?
  20. Yeah, it's not the deepest remix in the world and a little too simplistic for my taste.
  21. 1996-1999 is my favourite period. It was a time when artists were brimming with ideas and individuality, a time when psy trance (or goa trance) was at it's most psychedelic. These days more emphasis seems to be placed on sound quality and engineering rather than complexity and multi-layered structuring.
